Pick something to watch on the TV as you sink into the sofa with Freeview available.
Head outside to take in the glorious countryside views with five acres of the barn's natural grounds surrounding the cottage.

The cottage is in a 350 acre commercial forest to which visitors have access with a number of walks in addition to the vehicle tracks.
The field in which the cottage is located may be visited by guests at the cottage above, but otherwise private.
“The track to the cottage from the main road is just under two miles long.
It is a dirt track and does have a number of potholes, so fairly slow driving is sensible, particularly initially.”

Amazing location so peacefull the drive up is fine road is very easy 20mph cottage is set on own plot with massive garden everything you need is there the waterfall is about 30mins walk we will definitely be back 4 stars
The property is difficult to get to, up a long rough forest track, need a 4x4.
Property was dirty covered in cob web, damp and smelly, this list goes on.
A wonderful remote cottage in a forest, truly a "off grid escape".
A few minor faults, however I loved my time in cottage. The track to the cottage is difficult most cars to deal, this should be described in the posting with Sykes website. I used own a old Land Rover in the 1980's and the off road training was useful. However I loved my time in Snowdonia in July 2025 - Thanks, Garry
