Lovely cottage in a beautiful location .

It has everything you need for a relaxing stay. Julie and David are very helpful and friendly . Highly recommended!

This is a comfortable cottage in a fantastic setting.

Great to have a properly secure patio for the dog, with lighting so we could sit out in the cool of the evening. Walking straight from the door into the Vale of Clywd National Landscape. Absolute silence most of the day so really peaceful. A good location to unwind but not too far to Ruthin, Llangollen and the North Wales mountains. Very welcoming hosts and lovely touches with the welcome pack and fresh flowers. Also a card and roses for our golden wedding, as this was a return to our honeymoon location.

This is a very comfortable, clean, well cared for property The bed and wet room and powerful shower were great. Kitchen is well equipped and everything works as it should. We had a very warm welcome from the owners who were very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended.

Our second stay at Alyn View (hope to be back!

). A lovely place to stay in the countryside, very peaceful and restful (lots of bird watching), but it is in easy reach of the market town of Mold, the city of Chester, Wrexham, etc. Lots of walks from the cottage, and also in Loggerheads country park. Great place to stay!

The cottage was perfect, the hosts were extremely friendly and helpful and it was a lovely area.

Accommodation was lovely, bright, clean and comfortable.

The host was very welcoming and even provided a much needed pack of tea, coffee, milk and Welsh cakes on our arrival. There are walks all around the property and it is a wonderfully peaceful location. Definitely going back there again.

We had a really great stay at Alyn View, and it was superb value for money.

Fairly easy access to the coast and to Snowdonia. Hosts Julie and David were wonderful and went above and beyond when we had a problem with our car. The property has a small, secure patio, which was great for our dog, and there is a larger garden outside where dogs need to be on a lead. There are walks from the property. The beds were comfy and there is a large wet room. The kitchen was fairly well stocked but note the fridge is quite compact. There is a lovely log burner for colder weather. Overall a lovely stay.

My children and I had a wonderful stay in Alyn Cottage.

It was spotlessly clean with all needed amenities. The kitchen was very well kitted out (peelers, numerous pans etc) so cooking for 3 children was made easy. The underfloor heating was an absolute delight and special mention to the washing machine that looked old but I wanted to steal because it washed the clothes so well! There were lots of lovely walks just through the garden which my children loved - particularly walking up the hill to some beautiful views. Julie was very attentive and friendly. All questions were answered and communication was prompt. I accidentally left some clothes which she packed up and left for a family member to collect which was very appreciated We had a great time and would love to stay again

This was perfect for us as it is truly disability friendly from the ramp at the entrance and wide doors to the wet room with the option of a shower stool and raised toilet seat.

Everything we needed was there, plenty of storage in the wardrobes, ample kitchen equipment and well thought out lighting. The location was ideal for us to catch up with family and the owners were very welcoming and friendly. They are on hand to help but not intrusive. The tea, milk, real coffee, biscuits and Welsh cakes left for us were much appreciated. We would happily stay again.

Great place to stay in North Wales!

The property is clean, peaceful, and offers a lovely view. There’s plenty to see and do in the surrounding area, and David and Julie are wonderful hosts—so friendly, welcoming, and full of fantastic recommendations. The house is semi-detached, with a double door separating the two properties. You can sometimes hear the neighbours, but it wasn’t an issue for us, especially since the bedrooms are located on the opposite side of the house and remain very quiet. Overall, we had an excellent stay and would happily return!

Great place to relax from everyday life.

Dave and Julie [owners] extremely nice couple. Been here twice and would recommend to anyone. Went to the iron works in Oswestry and it was a fantastic day out. Plenty of places to visit and countryside is beautiful. Travel down wasn't great due to roadworks etc. But overall a very good place to stay.

Alyn View was beautiful.

The scenery was stunning The owners were very chatty . I contacted the owner before hand and always got a quick response .. We had some gorgeous meals out locally This cottage had a wet room which was ideal. Would love to visit again

Such a beautiful little cottage, tucked away in its own corner of heaven!

The sounds of birds chirping, bees buzzing, lambs frolicking and bleating for their mamas. Sound delight! Loved it so much! Yet just a couple miles from noise and town, shopping, restaurants and pubs. On entering the cottage it’s warm, filled with natural light and well decorated with everything you could need. The kitchen is well equipped, even if you think you are Gordon Ramsey as I do! Excellent! As my friend is quite disabled all the facilities, such as the ramp to the front door and the wet room were much appreciated. The bedrooms were pretty, the beds comfortable and the owners Julie and David were friendly, welcoming and very helpful. The welcome pack of milk, tea, coffee, sugar and Welsh cakes was a lovely surprise. We had a fabulous holiday and although we didn’t take advantage of it, mobility not allowing, there are long leisurely walks to be taken in the surrounding areas, straight from your own front door. On returning you can sit on the patio and fire up the bbq and enjoy a glass of wine and relax and unwind. Just wonderful! We will be back next year.

This is my second visit and won’t be my last.

It’s a beautiful location with easy access to great walks and close facilities. The cottage is a home from home with everything you need for a comfy stay. You receive a friendly welcome and nothing is to much trouble. It’s a perfect place to stay with your furry friends to. I would highly recommend a visit.

Lovely owners so helpful every thing was explained in a green book so if you forgot something you could just go over the book.

Beautiful countryside and wonderful atmosphere very friendly and welcoming. The cottage had everything you need except the fridge was warm so I’d bring cupboard food other than that can’t complain I would stay again

This was a beautiful property, the listing is accurate and the views are stunning.

I escaped with my dog for bonfire weekend and it was blissfully quiet with just the sounds of birds and owls. The property is well equipped with everything you need for a perfect home from home experience with comfort. The owners are really friendly and helpful if needed but give you space to enjoy your stay. Thank you I would recommend.

Lovely cottage.

Well stocked with everything we needed. Very suitable for the dog as has an enclosed garden. It’s adjacent to the owners who were lovely and very approachable. The surrounding area is beautiful and there are some good walks from the front door. One of the best places we’ve stayed

The hosts, Julie and David were very friendly and helpful. The accomodation was warm and comfortable with a very well stocked kitchen. We would recommend.

Very comfortable accommodation (for a couple).

In October there was a lovely view of the sun shining on the trees in the valley. Hosts J&D friendly and helpful. WiFi worked well for us, but no mobile signal in cottage or for a considerable distance up the valley.

Cottage proved to be above expectations.

We travelled with our quadriplegic adult son and found the cottage well laid out,had ample room and a very good wet floor shower. Only downside was poor TV signal.

We have enjoyed a fabulous week and couldn't have asked for better hosts!

We were very comfortable and in spite of the weather at times being truly horrible we were lovely and warm.

Perfect accommodation and fantastic location.

Couldn't want any more with the accommodation. Quiet rural location, great views, underfloor heating so nice and warm in October, comfy beds, everything you need in the kitchen, great wet room, always lots of hot water and a good signal for the TV. For those concerned about wifi, there was enough for 3 of us to access emails/social media/game/make bookings etc. There wasn't a phone signal, but we have EE wifi calling, but there was a signal just up the road. The location is fantastic for exploring North Wales, with great walks on your doorstep, especially Bryn Alyn, which is a must - and if you can't walk up/down steep hills, there is a gentle walk to the top from Pant Du Road.

The only problem was the lack of phone signal and internet I do understand that it is not the host fault ,but it can cause problems with most things are done on line

Spent another week exploring and walking with the dog in the beautiful countryside. Lots of great walks on the doorstep. The dog thoroughly enjoyed it, as did I. David and Julie are very welcoming. So wonderfully quiet.

Alyn View was just the place we were looking for our staycation.

It was by far our favourite holiday cottage and we will be booking to go back soon. It’s in an ideal location to visit spectacular castles, waterfalls and energetic walks. The view from the cottage was idyllic and we watched the sunset everyday listening to the sheep - it felt very relaxing. The owners of Alyn View were friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome there. They suggested places to visits and even recommended places to eat. We would recommend this cottage to anyone looking to visit this part of the country.

Owners Julie and David are really friendly and welcoming and couldn't be more helpful when looking for tips on things to do in the area. Perfect set up to be outdoors if the weather is nice, but can get nice and cozy if weather not so great. Already booked a return visit.

You cancelled our first cottage i think we should have had a discount or refund as has we were staying over half term limited cottages left especially in this pandemic year

Fantastic views and walks from doorstep for covid friendly holiday.

Everything provided for comfortable stay. Sunny patio for afternoon tea. Quiet spot away from main roads. Druid Inn, covid friendly with good food and views, within walking diatance. Can't wait to return missing the scenery!

We had a wonderful stay.

Lovely hosts and cosy clean cottage with log burner. The view from the lounge was very picturesque. We did lots of walking and exploring from the cottage doorway and look forward to going back and exploring further in the future.

The cottage was lovely in a peaceful setting but within easy driving of the local area and attractions.

Julie and Dave were amazing helping us with anything we needed. They made us most welcome and our dog even made friends with theirs. The facilities and welcome basket were fantastic, we even had fresh Halloween flowers which particularly impressed my two girls. Thanks for a great break and we will sure to be returning soon and recommending to family and friends.

The holiday cottage was an ideal base to explore the area, being situated in peaceful countryside and within easy access of spectacular landscapes, interesting towns and cities.

We booked both Meadow view and Alyn view cottages and it was very convenient for us that there was an adjoining door from one cottage to the other that could be left open or closed. We very much enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to other travellers.

Just a superb cottage that met and exceeded what I needed!

The location was superb for running cycling& walking and stunning fire &views to relax. Compleydog friendly & the owners are super, there if you need them for anything at all but totally leave you to your privacy. I really had a great time and would definitely recommend and will go back.

Such a comfortable, cosy and clean holiday cottage with a very warm welcome.

We have stayed in many cottages before but this was far the best. The stunning walks on the door step were vast and the many activities that Wales has to offer are only a short drive away.

If you like a quiet, peaceful location, then this cottage is superb,stunning scenery, very comfortable great views, safe environment for the children.

Helpful hosts David and Julie all this and still within reach of the major towns and tourist attractions of North Wales. Will go again
