  • "Very comfortable and a great location."

There could have been more information in the welcome pack regarding housekeeping, bins and local amenities.

  • "Property great, just as listed."

We had problems with the heating/hot water but maintenance and plumber came quickly to fix it. I also had problems working the main oven, might be a good idea to leave instructions on how to get it working. Also bins had changed but no new instructions on when/ if we had to move it for collection. All easily fixed I’m sure.

  • "Glanaig is a lovely bungalow on a lovely small estate of bungalows about 10 minutes walk from the fantastic Black Rock Beach absolutely ideal for walking your dog."

The bungalow is spacious and well equipped for your stay it just has a few little niggles but nothing major (as with most holiday lets) I will definitely stay again.

  • "Was surprised to receive a message from the management team asking our sleeping arrangements for our upcoming stay but this was resolved satisfactorily."

The bungalow is spacious and generally comfortable with an enclosed garden which was fine for our two dogs. Grumbles are the grass was uncut, oven and hob have seen better days as has the king size mattress and a dishwasher would be helpful. Most worrying items were the light switch located in the toilet which was within reach of a sink and tap and the open drain in the conservatory area. However we enjoyed our stay very much. Lovely location with a glorious beach within easy distance and lovely views. We would certainly book again if we come back to the area.

  • "On arrival the only toilet in the property wasn't flushing."

We phoned the caretaker and were told "well it was working this morning" eventually he said he would "phone the owner". Hardly a confidence inspiring response. On the plus side a plumber turned up within 30 minutes and had it repaired after a further 30 minutes. Very disappointed in the lack of recycling facilities / instructions. Surely not acceptable nowadays.

Hi Thank you for taking the time to give us some feedback, i can only apologise for the toilet not flushing and i am glad it was dealt with farily promptly. The recycling is a difficult one, we used to have the council attend emptying the bins as per the rest of the houses on the street, however if any items were to be put in the wrong box/bin this resulted in the bin not being emptied at all and a sticker explaining why, this would have a knock on effect onto the next guests as the bins would be full which of cause would then cause an issue, so the decision was made with guests in mind just to have one large bin. I however i do agree with what you are saying as a keen recycler myself, but unfortunately it just wasn't working for us. Once again thank you for taking the time to give us some feedback, its very useful and much appreciated. Helen Property Owner

  • "The bungalow was in a great location and well presented with a lovely layout of the rooms."

Having previously stayed the Conwy side of Snowdonia we decided to change our location to the Porthmadog side and very pleased that we did. The location was much more compact & in spite of the terrible weather we had virtually all week we got out and explored what the area had to offer. Seriously looking at a return visit in Autumn in the hope that the weather is much kinder to us.

Thank you so much for the amazing feedback! I’m glad you had an enjoyable stay with us, hopefully next time you are in the area the weather is kinder to you! Again thanks for taking the time to give feedback, it really is appreciated! Helen Property Owner

Facilities for our dogs was second to none, very well thought out. The nearby beach was our go to every morning, the dogs enjoyed their free running on the sands. During our October holiday the beach pretty empty, very few people and dogs on it at the times we went.

  • "Property was great, even though we didn’t get to use it as we lost our dog 2 weeks before our trip, the bedroom set aside as a dog bed room was a fantastic idea."

The only thing I did was cut the grass as it was really long, unfortunately the garden bin couldn’t be put out as no 2022 sticker. It would have been nice to have had a couple of deckchairs and a sun umbrella. Would definitely use this property again.

Hi Many thanks for your feedback! It is very much appreciated! There is a sun umbrella in the garage for future reference and a table and chairs :-) and we are sorry to hear about your dog. In future if there is an issue during your stay if you contact us I can get it rectified. Thank you Property Owner

Mattress was a little hard and lumpy for our taste. Central heating timing had a mind of its own. It came on at 8am irrespective of the time set on the wall timer. Stool needed in shower room.

Would benefit from a good clean of all paint work including skirting boards. Although all equipment required is on site we really didn’t expect to have to cut the back garden grass when we arrived so that we could enjoy sitting in the garden.
