Wow what’s a beautiful place, it couldn’t be more perfect in terms of scenery and the cottage is so lovely!
It felt so special and hidden away almost like we had our own private lake and forest! Will definitely be back (hopefully on a more sunny weekend haha to make the most of it)! P.s get your shopping before arriving, as the drive in and out is pretty tricky for none confident drivers but so worth it!
Myself and my Cousins had a lovely few days here.
Very remote & quiet location with fantastic views. Property was well equipped with almost everything you could think of. Amenities were only a few miles down the road & a good choice of places to dine. Would definitely consider coming here again.
This property is in a stunning location with beautiful scenery, walks and activities close by.
We loved exploring the area, swimming in the lake and visiting near by towns. We would love to come back and explore more. Unfortunately the house was dirty on arrival, dust, cobwebs, spiders and dog hair (I understand this due to being a dog friendly home). The oven didn't work on the first night, grill and hobs all fine, we did manage to resolve this ourselves. The sink in the ensuite wouldn't drain due to the plug being stuck. Shower door in the main bathroom was loose but again managed to resolve this. We did feel a little let down but didn't let it spoil the holiday. I think with a little more attention this holiday home would be great base.
