Description

Bodelwyddan 3.2 miles.

The Hayloft is a delightful, pet-friendly retreat nestled in a beautiful Welsh valley.

Ideal for families or groups of friends seeking a peaceful getaway, this charming home features ground-floor living, a cosy woodburning stove, stunning countryside views, and a barbecue for al fresco dining.

Set in a quiet, rural location, far removed from the hustle and bustle of town life, The Hayloft offers the perfect opportunity to unwind and reconnect with nature.

Upon entering, you'll find a spacious kitchen/diner that’s both bright and functional.

It's the perfect spot to prepare hearty breakfasts or enjoy evening meals with your loved ones.

The dining area provides plenty of room for gathering around the table, setting the stage for long conversations and shared moments before heading out to explore the surrounding area.

Upstairs, the sitting room is the heart of the house.

Exposed beams add a touch of rustic charm, while the woodburning stove creates a warm and inviting atmosphere on chilly evenings.

A carefully curated selection of books awaits, and with doors that open onto a private balcony, you can step outside to enjoy the fresh country air.

The elevated position offers tranquil views of rolling fields and distant hills, with only the sounds of birdsong and rustling leaves to interrupt the serenity.

The bedrooms are thoughtfully spread across three floors, offering a mix of privacy and comfort.

On the ground floor, a spacious bedroom with two single beds (which can be arranged as a twin on request) comes complete with its own en-suite bathroom.

On the second floor, you’ll find a cushy king-size bedroom whilst on the mezzanine level, a stylish shower room, all designed and prepared for your comfort and convenience.

Outside, the enclosed garden is a wonderful spot to relax during sunny days.

Fire up the barbecue, enjoy a meal at the patio table, and take in the panoramic countryside views that stretch out before you.

The peaceful sound of the nearby river, tucked away in the valley below, adds to the sense of serenity.

The setting here invites you to take your time—slow mornings, quiet evenings, and no distractions.

For essentials or a meal out, a shop and pub are just a short drive away.

In Abergele, you can explore the dramatic ruins of Gwrych Castle and its fascinating history, or visit Manorafon Farm Park for some family-friendly fun.

If you’re in the mood for the beach, Pensarn Beach is perfect for a leisurely stroll along the shore.

Llandudno offers plenty of attractions, including the Great Orme Tramway, which takes you to the summit for breath-taking views, and the Victorian Pier, where you can enjoy traditional seaside treats.

For a cultural fix, Venue Cymru hosts everything from theatre shows to live music.

Further afield, the medieval town of Conwy is a must-visit, with its famous Conwy Castle, ancient town walls, and the quirky Smallest House in Great Britain, right on the harbour.

The historic city of Chester also offers numerous activities and sights.

Whether you’re out exploring or simply relaxing at The Hayloft, it’s the perfect place for a restorative escape.

Here, every day is an opportunity to create lasting memories in a serene and beautiful setting.

We have just returned from a lovely week at The Hayloft.

The cottage is very well equipped and comfortable, with logs left for the cosy log burner and and opportunity to purchase more if needed. The cottage is quite remote but a great place for exploring all local places then coming back to peace. The owner came and greeted us on arrival and made some recommendations of places and pubs to visit, they were excellent recommendations, lovely touch that there was a bottle of Prosecco chilling in the fridge. A well maintained dog friendly cottage and well worth a visit and not expensive! Sarah & Martin

Cottage is in a nice remote location.

We found it clean and tidy, nice and comfortable. We never had a problem but owner lives on site and could sort any straight away. Views are magnificent. My only slightly negative comment would be, I felt heating should heat the whole house, not relying on a log burner for the top half.
