Description

Mold 2.5 miles.

This delightful detached cottage is situated in the pretty Flintshire village of Nercwys, at the foot of Nercwys Mountain, 2.5 miles from Loggerheads Country Park and Mold town centre.

This charming stone cottage, which dates back to the 1850s and is thought to be the oldest in the village, has been lovingly restored by the owners, and offers cosy accommodation with a welcoming sitting room that has exposed beams, a stone wall and a warming woodburning stove.

The modern fitted kitchen is where you can easily conjure up a romantic meal for two, and the bedroom makes a lovely retreat with a comfy king-size bed, a double sofa bed and an en-suite bathroom.

Outside, the enclosed patio areas to the front and side of this holiday home gives you space to sit back and relax.

A short drive will take you Moel Famau and Loggerheads or, for the energetic, footpaths will get you there in around 45 minutes.

With nearby market towns, numerous Coedpoeth bike trails and the renowned Llandegla off road trail, along with spectacular walking tracks all easily accessed, you will be planning your next stay long before you leave this wonderful country cottage.

Ty Cerrig is a lovely little cottage, very cosy & great solar panels to keep us warm.

I think a brief how to booklet would be helpful in future. Lovely view over the fields from bedroom windows. Shower did not seem to work consistently, apart from that, perfect.

We found Ty Cerrig a cosy and comfortable base to visit all our favourite haunts from.

It is only a 10 min drive to reach the A55, so easily accessible to visit towns along the coast.

Place in general was clean and very inviting.

Met the owner who was very friendly and welcoming. Facilities were good. Only thing is no washing machine and unfortunately no WiFi, luckily we had 4g so wasn't much if an issue and brought enough clothes with us. Only thing I could say is that it could do with some upgrades like the tvs are very outdated and are on there way out (pixels ect struggle). Somthing like a smart TV or something would be great. Overall though with that aside great stay, amazing area to be in and would deafiently book again if we were looking at that area and only 1hr away from most places. Thank you again and all the best.
