I have hesitated before giving this review because the discomfort we experienced wasn’t anything the owner could do anything about.

The cottage was just as it had been on our previous three stays - well-equipped, warm and well-placed for Anglesey and other attractions. The owner had been responsive to past criticisms. But with the work going on on the bridge and the building work on the nearby care home, the place was literally in the middle of a building site, with huge cranes, lorries and teleporters passing within inches of the windows. We were told after booking it might be a bit noisy (but not offered to chance to cancel without loss of deposit). This was an understatement. We still managed to have a pleasant stay but won’t be booking again.

Great location for access to Menai Straights, bridge, town and Angelsey.

Light, airy and comfortable rooms. We loved the upside down living with access being on the upper level and the raised deck off the kitchen.
