A lovely cottage great views and very homely and comfortable great shower and comfy bed bryn and Joyce were great hosts and enjoyed our chats with them everything you needed was there thanks again Bryn and joyce

We had a lovely holiday and really enjoyed our stay.

The house was very nice, comfortable and had everything we needed for an enjoyable break. There were just a couple of small things that we feel would make the stay even better. We would have appreciated a little more privacy during our stay, and we think putting a curtain on the kitchen door would be a great addition and would give guests a little more privacy. It would also be useful to have a fixed broom and dustpan available, as this would make it easier to quickly sweep up and keep the house tidy during the stay. These are only small suggestions, as overall we had a really enjoyable holiday and appreciated the lovely accommodation. With a few little improvements, we think it would be even better.

Joyces and Bryn are warm and welcoming and always there for their guests, without being intrusive.

The cottage and its garden make for a cosy and inviting holiday home with all the comforts you could wish for. The kitchen is equipped more in line with English habits (no coffee machine), but that’s no problem at all. We’d like to thank our hosts once again for a wonderful stay.

The Cottage @ Picton is a lovely holiday home.

Everything is absolutely spotless and the hosts are lovely and extremely helpful. The cottage has everything you would need, for two people. While we stayed the weather was very warm so we had the door open, but once we were asked to not have the door open as the mice and spiders would get in it felt a bit stuffy. hosts did provide a fan which helped. I had hoped to do some remote working but the wifi was very intermittent and extremely slow, hosts are aware but didn't make that clear in the writeup. if you don't want wifi this is a really nice place to stay and the hosts really do everything they can for you.

*Beautiful little cottage* We had a lovely stay at Upper Picton Farm over Easter; everything was perfect in the cottage, and the views from it were stunning.

Some lovely day trips too, and gorgeous beaches nearby. Thanks so much for such a relaxing few days, with the loveliest hosts, Joyce and Bryn!

I had the most wonderful relaxing few days over Easter at the cottage.

The views are stunning and it’s so peaceful. The cottage is very cosy, absolutely spotless, has an excellent shower and the bed is extremely comfortable. I cooked while I was there and there’s plenty of space in the kitchen along with a good cooker and hob. I liked the fact that the kitchen is separate and has a kitchen table. Joyce and Bryn are lovely and the perfect hosts. Not intrusive but there if you need them or just to have a chat!

Beautiful cottage with an amazing view to the sea especially from the spacious garden. Excellent location close to so many incredible places to visit. Cleaned to a high standard. The hosts were so friendly and helpful without being intrusive at all. Huge thanks to them for the advice and tips they went out of their way to ensure we enjoyed ourselves.

The cottage was a lovely place for a quiet get away with easy access to the beach.

You wake up to a nice view and go to bed to a lovely sunset as well. The hosts were very welcoming and accommodating. We enjoyed our stay.

We both thoroughly enjoyed our weeks stay here, and would really like to come back. There is nothing negative to say. Joyce and Bryn are two of the most loveliest people we have ever met, and you both also helped make the week the most relaxing, and enjoyable break away from our busy, stressful lives. the cottage was lovely, very comfortable, and the owners can't of been more helpful, highly recommend it to anyone, its a pity our stay was very brief has we would of loved to explore the surrounding area more.

This is a beautiful little cottage, with sea views and very cosy.

The cottage is very well maintained by the owners Joyce and Bryn who gave us such a warm welcome when we arrived. The cottage has a well equipped kitchen, decent size bathroom with walk in shower, very comfortable bed with plenty of wardrobe and drawers. The cottage also has a lovely well kept garden with seating looking over the sea. We had a much needed restful week away staying at the cottage, we HIGHLY RECOMMEND this property and will be back again next year.

We really enjoyed our week's stay at this cottage, which is very cosy and well-equipped, enjoys splendid views out to sea and is so peaceful.

Joyce and Bryn are very warm and friendly hosts. The cottage is well positioned for trips to all the attractions along the north Wales coast, including Anglesey, Caernarfon and Snowdonia to the west and Chester to the east.

A real home from home that I would recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat.

The property is very comfortable, well equipped and with excellent views out to the Dee Estuary and coastline. Joyce and Bryn are very attentive and helpful owners...always on hand if you need them. I used the property as a base for walking the first part of the Welsh Coast path from Chester to Conwy and it is also close to Offa's Dyke. The nearby beaches are remarkably quiet. Overall it really was a great place to escape from the intensity of modern life

Wow!

What a beautiful little cottage. It was so comfortable and cosy. The photos do not do it justice, especially of the sparkly shower. Plenty of storage space in the kitchen for shopping and the wardrobe ample enough to store clothes for two people. As a solo traveller, I made the most of the room in the comfortable bed. The views are just incredible, even on a cloudy day. Joyce and Bryn, thank you for your warm welcome. I hope to see you both again soon. (I hope you like the hats!) x

We were delighted by the accommodation at the Cottage.

It has been carefully and lovingly prepared for visitors, and meets the highest standards. All mod cons, but with the feel of something more traditional: they have got the balance perfectly right. Joyce and Bryn are lovely people, friendly welcoming and unfailingly helpful. Local people, their love for the local area is infectious: and it has to be said it is a stunningly beautiful area. It was an absolute delight to spend a week there.

The cottage had everything you would need for a short stay. We really enjoyed our morning coffee sitting in the garden enjoying the beautiful views before our day exploring North Wales. Great walks, waterfalls, caves, castles and counrty pubs….we love the peaceful countryside! Would love to visit again soon. Thank you.

com and Sykes numerous of times over the last 15 years….This is the best stay out of the lot. Cleanliness was spotless, the description and photos perhaps don’t even give it justice. Then there is the hosts, who not only were happy to go out their way but also show their horse twice to my 4 year old son. They even have their own Netflix set up good to use for the likes of children or even yourselves. If you are reading this considering whether to book it, then genuinely stop searching and grab this while you can. Thank you so much to both of you, me and Reggie were going to get you a bottle of wine but ran short on time, we’ll have one for you next time. Our time at the cottage was a lovely experience.

We enjoyed the tidy gardens an surroundings. Our hosts were kind and thoughtful, leaving us to enjoy everything, yet willing to inform us of places to visit - including pubs and restaurants. Tom & Patsy

Great cottage, great host s lovely area ,lovely view s of the sea from Picton where the cottage is on a hill ,easy to get down the hill on to the road to Prestatyn about 4 miles away,the owners are living next door if you want help or information of the local area , they have a very friendly yard dog ,she lives outside, lovely she is tidy room to park your car no problem and you can bring it in onto the yard to unload your holiday stuff right by the kitchen door, good set up ,right quite area, nice little village s around the area and tidy pubs to have a meal or a drink, all in all we had a good holiday, Llandudno is a great place to visit as well , Happy holiday s ,Hywel x Carole,

The Cottage was very comfortable with great facilities and outstanding views.

It was the perfect base to visit north wales and we enjoyed visiting both the local areas such as Talacre beach and Prestatyn, as well as Conwy and Snowdonia. It was a really beautiful scenic area and perfect place to relax and unwind. We went on some lovely hikes during our visit and there were plenty of local places to eat which were a short drive away. I would highly recommend this property.
