Offering charming coastal themed accommodation in the small village of Pencarnisiog in Anglesey is this quaint property.

Suited to a family or group of five, you can look forward each day to returning to this homely retreat after your exploration of the area, with the property positioned within easy reach of amenities.

Step into the hallway over the original ornate tiled flooring, and come through to the open-plan living room/diner, where you can begin to appreciate the lovely attention to detail of the décor, settle on the Chesterfield sofa amongst your loved ones and light the wood burning stove which sits within the feature exposed stone wall.

Move beneath the spotlights over to the dining table to enjoy a board game to pleasantly while away a rainy afternoon, or flick on the TV and enjoy a favorite show or film.

Wake up each morning with a coffee at the breakfast bar in the kitchen while a hearty cooked breakfast is prepared using the great range of appliances in this beautiful kitchen, all beneath a huge skylight above, flooding your morning with sunlight.

Let the dogs enjoy a run around in the graveled garden which is at the rear of the property, offering a private space to have breakfast or an evening drink at the seating, perfect for warm summer’s days.

Tucked away between the ground-floor rooms is the sparkling bathroom, offering a bath with a shower over, so whether it’s a relaxing soak or a hot shower you can enjoy preparing for your day in this well-presented space.

Head upstairs to find the three bedrooms all containing quality bed linens and furnishings for storage, and sloping ceilings creating snug spaces to rest in after busy days.

The master double bedroom is a dreamy spot, with a window offering you a view of the gorgeous fields and country beyond right from your pillow, it’s a perfect image to wake up to as well as benefitting from an en-suite cloakroom, while the other rooms include a double room and a single room.

Head into the coastal village of Rhosneigr to pick up some essentials from the shops, or stop in one of the several pubs for a delicious pub lunch to kick start your holiday.

Take coastal walks along the cliffs and across the sandy beaches and admire the rugged landscapes and scenery of Anglesey, built sandcastles down at Newborough beach and swim in the sea, or head into the heart of this gorgeous isle and explore the terrain.

Ty ar Ben Bryn will be a coastal haven for you and your loved ones to enjoy a peaceful trip to Anglesey.

The property smelt very damp.

.parking was very tight. The road was busy.not keen on bathroom downstairs. When getting ready you want to be upstairs .beds were only double quiet narrow.no logs to make a fire.the heating was in a locked cupboard and boxed in thermostat so no access it was cold in the evening no ideal.needs a good deep clean and to get rid of wee smell.

The location and views are absolutely amazing and are definitely the highlight of this cottage.

We also have to commend the host, who responded promptly and resolved a plumbing issue on a Sunday, which was much appreciated. Unfortunately, there were several aspects that let the property down. The cleanliness wasn't up to standard on arrival – we had to hoover ourselves, some of the kitchen utensils and cookware appeared used and are in need of replacing, and there was a bin bag and a dust sheet strewn across the pebbled garden. There was also a damp-stained wall in the living room, which added to the feeling that the property would benefit from some general maintenance. Although the plumbing issue was dealt with quickly, it really shouldn't have happened in the first place. Parking is described as "tight", which is accurate, but there's no mention that on bin collection day a refuse lorry squeezes past parked cars. A heads-up about this would have been helpful. Overall, the cottage is in a stunning location with beautiful views, but it would benefit from much more attention to detail. A thorough clean, replacing tired kitchen items, addressing maintenance issues such as the damp-stained wall, and a bit of general tidying and updating would make a big difference to the overall experience.

We've now stayed at Ty ar Ben Bryn three times, both in the summer and in the winter, and it really is a wonderful place to stay.

The house is absolutely beautiful, tastefully decorated throughout, and you can tell the owners have put so much thought into making it feel welcoming and comfortable. The property is spacious, bright and stays lovely and cool in the warmer weather. Both bedrooms are extremely comfortable, and having an en-suite with a toilet and sink in one of the bedrooms is a real bonus. The facilities are excellent, and the enclosed garden is perfect if you're bringing dogs, giving them a safe place to enjoy the outdoors while you relax. The location couldn't be better – it's peaceful and quiet, set in a beautiful village, yet only a short drive from Rhosneigr and so many of Anglesey's wonderful beaches, walks and attractions. The owners are fantastic too. On one occasion we had a small issue, and the owner came out personally to sort everything for us, which was very much appreciated and showed how much they care about their guests. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ty ar Ben Bryn. It's a real home from home, and somewhere we always look forward to returning to. Emma james and kilo x
