  • "The property was like a home from home."

Very clean, everything you need in a good quiet location with amazing views. Great base for exploring North Wales, with shops and Restaurants only a few miles away in Caernarfon. Beds were very comfortable, plenty of quality towels and bedding provided. Happy to recommend to any looking to stay in North Wales. If anything the inside of the property was better than the pictures on the site.

  • "This is a really nice place to stay."

It is modern, well equipped and spotlessly clean throughout. Beds and large lounge sofa are very comfortable. Excellent dining area for a full complement of 6. Patio doors leading to veranda deck overlook Menai Strait in the middle distance. This type of place comes under the heading of don't tell anybody about it to ensure that you can re-book easily the next time, but that would not do justice to the owner, Michael who we spoke to and was most helpfull.

  • "We loved our week away at this lovely holiday house."

Good quality & well equipped kitchen. House is of top standard throughout. Comfortable beds, bedding & towels included. Lovely view out the back. We’ll be booking to stay here again and would definitely recommend this house to anyone.

  • "We had a wonderful stay at the well equipped, comfortable holiday home."

The owner made our arrival very easy and also contacted us to remind us of the bin day. The house was located in a beautiful spot with lovely views. There was nothing we were short of.

  • "The property was very well presented and also well equipped."

It took us a few minutes to find it after we arrived in the village. We were only a few yards away, but the sat nav deposited us around the corner and it was quite dark. The angle of the picture on the site gives the impression that the house stands alone in a prominent position, and that made it slightly harder to pick out because there is a building either side, one of which hides it from the road. The lane on which the house stands is the last on the right in the village (if you are travelling uphill), just after a small cul de sac (forgotten the name now), and the house is the the second one in (but first front door as the first house is the other way around). That's not a complaint - it's just to aid anyone else arriving.

  • "We have just spent a week at Isallt and it’s excellent."

!! Well equipped with numerous quality kitchen items, quality beds and bedding, quality towels and absolutely spotless. Fantastic views of Menai Straits from lounge and rear bedrooms, it is in a very quiet location in a small village, be aware no local shop but there are various large supermarkets only 5 - 10 mins drive away. We are Ramblers and there are numerous walks close to property, we walked down some lanes to Dinas train station then followed the track to Caernarfon, easy flat walk about 3.5 miles. Isallt is an excellent base to explore many areas of North Wales and the Llyn Peninsula. During the course of our week we visited and explored Caernarfon, Llanbedrog, Abersoch, Beaumaris, Llanberis including climbing up & down Snowdon, Aberdaron, Whistling Sands, Morfa Nefyn, Nefyn, Pwllheli, Porthmadog, Portmerion and Criccieth. We will DEFINITELY be returning it has been the best holiday ever..!!!!

  • "A great find!"

Really good location, and more than suitable for a group of people - 3 toilets and 2 showers definitely helped. All very clean and off-street parking was also beneficial too. The house was only built in 2018, so everything is pretty much brand new and all up to the latest standards. Very helpful host, and we'd definitely book this property again!

The views over to Anglesey were perfect. The house its self was very clean and well equipped. Broadband connection was great, perfect for my teenage sons. Would definitely recommend this property.

  • "This property is superb."

Lovely house, everything seemed brand new. Particularly like the position of the house, as the views are fantastic and it is well placed to travel in various directions to see all the great places around. Only 6 m from the nearest beach Dinas Dinlle, which is amazing and a must visit place, shortish drive to Snowdon paths, Caernarfon, and Lake Padarn which the children loved. Walkable (2m) to first class restaurant, Plas Dinas. Not cheap but worth every penny, uphill walk on way back but much needed as we ate so much! Small garden, but there is so much to do in the area, we did not need garden to play in (note if you have tots - there is no gate, so garden is unsecured). Would wholeheartedly recommend and would love to return.

  • "Isallt was very comfortable and clean and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there."

The house is located on the edge of the village with beautiful views of the Menai Strait and Anglesey out the back (and glorious sunsets if the weather is good), and a field with horses out the front. The owners were very helpful when we needed them. A lovely place to stay.

  • "The cottage is an ideal spot for a holiday in North Wales, it’s within easy driving distance to many attractions, and has space on the driveway for two cars!"

. It’s a nice quiet village with a farm just opposite the house, with friendly horses :-) The view from the living room/ Dining and upstairs bedrooms is so refreshing! The house was clean and has been well looked after, it had everything we needed, we loved our stay, and would recommend it to anyone. The hosts were also so welcoming and helpful. Recommend A++

  • "Lovely warm, comfy house with beautiful view across Menai Straights."

Heating is adjustable so if weather changes you can warm or cool down the house as you wish. Bed was very good and ensuite shower fantastic. Couldn’t get hot water from bath taps which was disappointing as all other taps ran hot and fast. House is well equipped generally, the only odd thing was no hooks on bedroom or bathroom doors to hang robes and no towel rails for bath towels. Each toilet did have a small hand towel on a ring and hand wash provided which was great. Television has Freeview and Amazon fire stick so if you sign into your Amazon account you can watch a film or series in the evening on a good sized flat screen TV on the large corner sofa - so it evenings are not warm enough to enjoy the patio you are still able to relax in comfort with tv or a book. The village doesn’t have a shop in walking distance and no welcome pack at all in house so come prepared with own snacks if you’ve travelled far and want a cuppa and a rest on arrival! Overall a good place for a break where you can be in Caernarfon or Llanberis in under half an hour.
