Parts of the house are in need of an upgrade.

The three bathrooms and the refrigerator are extremely ‘tired’ and uninviting. The bed linen was clean but again could do with an upgrade. Our rating for cleanliness and comfort is sullied as no amount of cleaning can make things look any better regarding the bathrooms. The wood burner was very effective and there were plenty of logs, kindling and firelighters. This is a definite plus in the property. There was plenty of hot water and accessible Wi-Fi. The bedrooms are spacious. The BBQ area has great views over the adjacent farmland. The BBQ itself looked new and is large enough to accommodate food for a big group but it needed a good clean. We didn’t plan to use it due to the time of year so we didn’t report that to the owner. Despite some negativity in our review we had a great weekend and Bryn (owner) was very helpful when I spoke to him before we arrived at the house - thank you for that.

Everything was as expected, good parking facilities, no garden but there is a BBQ area.

The bathroom and en-suites are in need of some upgrading but this was mentioned in a previous review, plenty of hot water though for the 9 showers we needed daily. Plenty of info dotted around the house to help with how things work and re-cycling bins info. The grandchildren loved being on the top floor apart from the adults, pub Just over the road highly recommended. House well equipped, it is on a busy road (daytime) so just note that point.

Lovely weekend away and accommodation very comfortable, unfortunately the hot water wasn't working when we arrived but I contacted the owner and after lots of fiddling we had hot water by Saturday evening.

Owner was very apologetic
