Perfect house for 6 adults 2children 1 puppy Not so keen on village of Talacre very run down no restaurants and even fish and chip shop closed in the week

I asked in January if all the windows were lockable and was told that they were.

When we arrived the bedroom windows downstairs were unlocked with no key and the balcony door on the first floor also didn't have a key. I contacted the owner about the balcony door as for our family it felt very unsafe. At first he said it didn't have a key and after I pressed the issue he said he had found the key...however he never brought it round despite me reminding him and suggesting he could leave it in the lockbox. This led to a very anxious holiday with autistic children who like to climb. My son cut his toe open quite badly on a piece of metal buried in the grass. I reported it and the owner didn't apologise or ask how he was he just asked when someone could come and look at it but they didn't. I saw the person who cut the grass as we were leaving dig it out with a shovel and toss it over the fence. We were quite alarmed that someone came to clean the windows while we were there, they just let themselves in through a side gate and cleaned us and next door. We hadn't been told this would happen and thankfully were all I doors and not in the garden at the time as it would have been an easy escape for my children. It was also just a little uncomfortable as the bifold doors do not have any blinds and we were all just walking around in PJ's at the time. There was a terrible damp smell in both bathrooms which I feel is known about as there are a lot of heavy duty air fresheners in the property. I've rated the cleaning slightly lower and there were some areas that weren't vacuumed, a discarded water bottle in the main bedroom on the floor, the smell, and a wet towel left in the washing machine. We did really enjoy our holiday and it's unfortunate that these issues blighted it as I would definitely have returned but these issues really did cause anxiety for us while away.

Added bonus havIng hot tub to chill in! Loved the decor and bedroom Sizes ( main bed a little hard for my bones and a mattress topper would have been an advantage) but we have wonderful relaxing break and would boom again

The owner is lovely and really helpful. The decor is outstanding and its so clean and tidy. I would highly recommend.

Maritos is a fabulous property with regard to the accommodation itself and we have only positive feedback to give on the property itself in layout and comfort as well as the location next to the beach and the hot tub is a bonus to relax in after some lovely walks and trips out along the coast.

A beautiful modern house, ideal for a large family with a bedroom & bathroom downstairs so suitable for all generations & the disabled.

Very clean & nice extras such as body wash & hair products in the showers. A well equipped kitchen, with washing machine & dryer if needed. Bifold doors opened up the area to the garden so those in the hot tub could chat with those in the house, it felt as though everyone was outside. The garden was enclosed so safe for children & dogs. Although we hardly used the TV, there was a huge one in the lounge & a lovely electric fire which had pretty variable lighting. The hot tub was a big hit, the younger adults were happy to sit in with a glass & chat & chill & the older ones to relax & get the heat on the “old” bones ! I would definitely recommend this lovely house.

We really enjoyed our time here.

. the host was amazingly helpful. The property was clean and beautiful, plenty of space too and had a well enclosed garden for our pooch. It was fairly equipped with the basics and also had a guy come round every morning around 7am to do the maintenance of the hot tub. However we did have a couple points for us such as the beds were way too hard, just could not get comfortable. And there was food left in one of the cupboards and in the freezer. It wouldn't stop us from coming again ( if mattresses were a little softer) as it is a lovely place and everything is so convenient and easy to get too, the beach was stunning and literally a 5 minute walk. Would advise bringing cash as some shops don't accept card or there is a limit ie £4. So yes great place to come and relax.

It's a lovely holiday home thats really nicely decorated. A clean modern feel throughout. The kitchen and lounge area with bifold doors into the garden is perfect for us. Fantastic size rooms. Comfortable beds. Lovely clean linen. Really nice touches everywhere like shampoo and conditioner and bodywash in showers. The size of the smart TV in the lounge was fantastic. So nice to be in a holiday home where the owners have made such an effort. We had a couple of things we needed support with and Lorna addressed it immediately. Definitely will return. Fantastic space for adults and kids alike.

A very nice, immaculate property in an ideal, quiet location.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and I would recommend this holiday cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful holiday near to a nice beach. The property is also nicely located for all local amenities in the village of Talacre.

Another lovely stay at Maritos, property is immaculate and well stocked with all the essentials.

Garden and hot tub are great for chilling late afternoon into the evening after visits to the beach. Very quiet area so no disturbances. The owner posted something we'd left behind free of charge which we were very grateful for. This is the second time we've stayed and will definitely return.

We had a lovely family stay at Maritos.

The property was exactly like the pictures. It was modern, clean and had everything we needed to have a wonderful family holiday. All the rooms were bright and spacious. It was close to amenities only a short walk to the beach. Two local pubs were warm, friendly and welcoming and it was only a 5 minute walk to get daily papers. The hot tub was well maintained and provided opportunity for even more relaxation. We would highly recommend this property and would definitely go back.

The property was stunning, very modern.

The garden was perfect for our German Shephard, he was the most chilled we have seen him, our boy enjoyed himself as much as we did. We will definately be booking again.

There wasn’t a pin out of place. I would definitely recommend and we would love to return in the future.
