Seagull Cottage

We had looked at this property over recent years we have visited Trearddur Bay, sorry we never decided to go this year.

Seagull Cottage is a lovely place to stay, it is clean well presented and it has a lovely theme of the seaside. We had a lovely relaxing holiday, and will be going back. Lynne and Morris Sykes regular users.

Really enjoyed our stay at seagull cottage, few thing to point out, no instructions about the bins.

No pen to leave a review. We did have a power failure but soon power came back on, but couldn’t get microwave to work after, needs looking at. But overall all it’s a lovely place for a relaxing holiday and would recommend to family and friends.

Lovely property, had everything we needed for our holiday.

Comfy couches after a day out walking. Kitchen was well equipped if cooking in. Lots of hot water for showers. A lovely touch to have a bottle of wine, milk and a cake on arrival. We had left an item behind and had to contact owners , Nick was so helpful. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Seagulls cottage.

Lovely location in Treaddur Bay excellent value for money.

Clean lovely little bungalow home from home. Great base for exploring Anglesey or just a great place to chill out. This was our second visit and had some lovely little upgrades and was freshly decorated too. Lovely looked after accomodation.

Lovely cottage, brilliantly situated for walks along the beach, and also for investigating Anglesey.

Very nice place and great location

We've just spent a great week at Seagull Cottage.

It's a lovely place to stay - cosy and very well equipped. The beach and coast path are within easy reach. Rockpooling was very good, with a wide variety of things to discover. Would happily stay there again.

Lovely stay again, everything clean and home from home comfort in a great location, nothing to fault and can't wait for our next visit

We loved our stay at Seagull Cottage.

The location was perfect for visiting the surrounding areas of outstanding beauty.Holyhead was only 10 minutes away of which we decided to go to Dublin for the day on the very reasonably priced Irish Ferry. It was our first visit to Anglesey and certainly not our last. Rick (owner) contacted me by phone the day after just to make sure that we were happy with everything of which it was. Also a nice little surprise in the form of a bottle of wine on our arrival.

Lovely cottage 2 minutes from the beach.

Couldn't have asked for anything more.

Our second stay at seagull cottage a very nice holiday home lovely and clean with everything you need.

Close to the beach and restaurant's already looking to book again for March. Many thanks ROGER AN JUNE

Another wonderful stay at Seagull Cottage.

The new kitchen is a lovely addition. As always the standard of cleanliness is absolutely top notch. We made use of the Body Boards in the garage which Rick kindly said we could use. Everything was perfect, hoping we can come back again next year!

We have stayed in this lovely property for several years and always find it very clean, bright and comfortable.

It has everything you need for a fabulous holiday and the location is superb. All amenities, restaurants and beach 5 mins walk away yet the property is tucked away in a very quiet location. The owners are lovely and always happy to offer help should you need it.

The property was really clean and it was lovely and spacious and very well equipped.

We loved it and all the little homely touches, made for a very enjoyable stay and the property had everything we needed. We would highly recommend it. The location was perfect for us with two young children.

An excellent property.

As a regular visitor to this part of Anglesey we will definitely be returning to this bungalow. Everything you need and more and wonderful location. Thank you to the owners.

Lovely stay at Seagull cottage, Spotlessly clean and in a great location.

The owner Rick was very helpful with plenty of local information. Nice bottle of wine on arrival. Highly recommend.

We have just enjoyed a fabulous stay at Seagull Cottage, the owner has been fantastic with communication from the start.

Located in the heart of Trearddur Bay, this cottage is within perfect walking distance to the beach and surrounding areas. It's family friendly and extremely spacious with a real home from home experience.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Seagull Cottage, a lovely clean, spacious cottage in a great location for walking anywhere within Trearddur and fully recommend the short drive to Penrhos Nature Park where we saw red squirrels.

We were very fortunate with the weather and able to use the patio area for a few rays in the afternoon and loved the seaside themed dining room area for meals. Beds, settees very comfortable, kitchen and bathroom very modern and well equipped, nothing to fault and the owner Rick very kind with a curtesy call to check everything was ok and email with information pack. Would fully recommend and can not wait for our next visit

Had a lovely stay at seagull cottage, the house is lovely and cozy and a lovely seaside feel about it, it’s alot bigger than it looks too, owners very helpful , we’ll definitely be back thank you

We had a lovely week in October at Seagull cottage.

The place has everything you need for a comfortable stay, Its a home away from home. Beautifully clean and tidy, well maintained and a lovely place to relax. We would highly recommend. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Seagull Cottage lived up to the description and more .

Everything was spotless ,great location ,definitely recommend it and great value

A very nice bungalow in a great location near to the beach and shops and some very good pubs everything you'd need in a holiday home looking forward to staying again thanks for a lovely stay roderick and june

Booked a short stay for me and my 85yr old Mum who has limited mobility and it was perfect for her.

Spacious rooms with no unnecessary clutter to trip over, you dont need to have mobility problems though to enjoy this holiday home

All good and very happy with the cottage.

Having use of the garage was very useful especially with having wetsuits etc from beach days to dry out. It was also easy with a beach trolley to just roll it in and leave ready for the next day. The location was ideal too with a very short walk to the beach.

Kitchen could have been a lot cleaner

We had a lovely holiday stay here .

. the bay is a stone throw away .. weather was amazing when we went .. would definitely return to seagull cottage

Such a lovely property in a prime location.

It was lovely and quiet, yet you were near to the hustle and bustle of the beautiful beach. We had a few minor issues which were easily resolved , there was a sign on the fridge saying the fridge wouldn't work if freezer door not shut but we couldn't shut it due to the ice but we cleaned the ice out . The bathroom door was off its tracker so my husband put that back on. We booked for 4 adults but it was set up for 2 adults so a quick trip to tesco. Overall a lovely stay in a lovely area we have stayed before in this area and can't wait to be back in Treddaur Bay.

We really enjoyed our stay at Seagull Cottage, which our 8 yr old granddaughter described as 'beautiful'.

It's very comfortable, in a quiet location close to the beach and other amenities in Trearddur Bay. Perfectly equipped for a relaxing family holiday. A call from Rick, the owner to check that we had found everything OK, and to give a bit of information about places to visit etc. made us feel very welcome and reassured us that help was on hand should we have needed it. We would definitely recommend this place and hope to return in the future. Thank you.

Just returned from a brilliant 5 night stay at Seagull Cottage, and, I can only describe it as absolutely perfect.

Comfortable, modern, clean and feels like a real family home. The location is amazing - a few minutes walk and you're on the beach, where the kids played in rockpools, while we watched the sunset. The facilities are second to none - everything you need. The kids loved playing games in the conservatory. Rick was a lovely host and we felt really privileged to stay in the lovely home that he and his family have obviously worked so hard on. Thanks so much!

Very comfortable stay nice quiet area really enjoyed the walks from the cottage

Seagull Cottage was so comfortable and cosy.

It was cleaned to a high standard. The location is fantastic you can even see the sea (just) from the sofa). The pictures don't show the newly installed bathroom with it's lovely walk in power shower. (We had no problems with the sliding door a previous guest mentioned). The lounge is slightly different to the pictures too with different (comfortable) sofas and a larger smart TV. The king-size bed was super comfortable and the kids said the bunk beds were great, they certainly slept well! The conservatory was super cosy and we had a great afternoon playing board games in there when the weather was pouring down outside. It was very generous of the owners to allow use of the equipment in the garage. We certainly needed the windbreaks on the beach! It was kind of the owner to call to check everything was ok it certainly added to us feeling very welcome. We wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Great location and the Cottage has everything you might need for a holiday.

Plenty of space and room to sit outside if the weather is kind - was mixed when we stayed. Some minor issues with a sticking bathroom door and hard to lock garage door but nothing else.

Overall a great place to stay.

Great location. The owners were very helpful. There were signs of lack of maintenance. Toilet seat was loose (owner offered to fix it straightaway) some door handles were difficult to close, the sliding door in the bathroom kept sticking. The mattresses on the bunk beds were very thin and not comfortable (probably great for kids but not for people in their late 70s. The lounge was great - sofas very comfortable. We enjoyed our week. Great place to stay and explore the island. We loved our walks from the cottage down to the sea. Lovely coastline.

Last minute booking and we had a perfect five day stay at Seagull cottage, wonderful location a few minutes walk to the main beach .

Very glad we came across this lovely holiday home, so comfortable , clean ,and well maintained , this was the first of what we hope will be many return visits. The newly installed bathroom with its large walk in shower is a perfect addition to the cottage. Rick the owner was so lovely and responsive to deal with, the perfect rental host. Thank you , very much for sharing your perfect holiday cottage.

Cottage was perfect clean and comfy very much a home from home in a fabulous location couldnt ask for more only 2 of us but it was set up perfect for families with books DVDs and board games all provided in case of bad weather we loved it

We have stayed here before and as always found the property lovely and clean and well maintained.

Location is superb, the cottage is so comfortable and we love staying here. Out of all the holiday properties we have stayed in over the years this is the only one we have returned to and will continue to do so. Also the owners are lovely people.

A lovely warm and welcoming cottage.

Very comfortable and clean a real pleasure to come back to after a day out. Great location for getting about Angelsey and of course for a lovely walk along the sea front which is just a few steps away. I would have no hesitation recommending Seagull Cottage to anyone wanting to holiday in this area ... and hope that one day we may return! Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful cottage.

Great cottage within 5 minutes walk of the beach.

Communication with the owner was excellent. Will definitely be back.

Seagull Cottage is ideally placed near the beach and has everything you need for a great holiday.

The owner has provided additional beach supplies and the windbreak and hammer were most welcome as our week was still ok for the beach but windy! The choice of 2 outdoor areas to sit was also great & we’d love to stay again!

Been to Seagull before,so we knew exactly what to expect;we weren't disappointed.

The cottage was spotlessly clean when we arrived, and we had no problem in obtaining access. Seagull is a lovely, airy and spacious place to stay, and us ideally situated just a 5 minute stroll from the hub of Trearddur Bay,with the beach and some excellent eateries just around the corner. An absolute pleasure to visit.

Had a great stay, perfect location.

The house had everything we could want and more. Owners were really helpful.

Nice cottage in a great location.

Very clean. Full facilities. The owner called on the morning of our arrival to check we were aware of all the facilities and where to eat out etc which was a good touch. Be sure to read the information folder as everything is in there - we didn’t realise there was a Roku box until the last evening! Very happy and would stay there again without hesitation.

Everything in the cottage was absolutely fine.

I've already recommended Seagull Cottage in Social Media outlets and on a personal level by word of mouth.

....this was our second visit,so we pretty much what to expect. We weren't disappointed.....from it's location to it's facilities,Seagull is the perfect holiday destination as far as we are concerned. Sykes's is a good company to deal with, their communication from our initial booking of the holiday to our actual setting off on our journey was excellent.Absolutely recommended. Roll on next time!

This is a great holiday rental.

It is in close walking distance of a lovely safe beach. It is really well equipped and the use of bikes, body boards, beach chairs etc was a bonus. The house was spotlessly clean which is a massive consideration in these Covid times and the provision of loo roll, kitchen roll, dishwasher tablets etc was really appreciated. The photos are accurate but do not do the property full justice. We has a lovely holiday exploring Anglesey and would strongly recommend the house and the location.

So close to the beach, grandchildren could walk there on their own safely.

Lovely patio suntrap at the back of the cottage. Helpful having dishwasher, washing machine and dryer in the property too. Lovely touch was the owner phoning before we set out to introduce himself and confirm access to the property and have a general chat. Would definitely visit again.

This cottage was lovely but is only suitable for one family as only room for parking one car.

The lounge could do with an armchair that is suitable for elderly as the low sofas proved difficult for my disabled husband to rise from sitting. The location is very good.

Lovely cottage, short walk to the sea front.

Extremely clean. Thank you very much

This was our second stay at Seagull Cottage - Meticulously clean and comfy.

Very well maintained. Close to the beach and some lovely walks. A well earned and enjoyable rest that we thoroughly enjoyed - thank you. We will be visiting again having discovered a little gem. The beach and rock pools are very clean too - not a sign of rubbish or plastic. Had a couple of courtesy calls from the owner too to check all was OK which was a nice touch too. Best - Russ, Nic & Gary.

The bungalow was actually bigger than it appeared on the photos which was a pleasant surprise.

There is private off road parking, set in a very quiet cul-de-sac with everything you need for the holiday of your dreams. The small but secluded back garden is a perfect place to wind down & relax at the end of the day. Easy access to everything across Anglesey, local shops are a brief walk away, as is the beach & Holyhead, with a larger choice of shops, is a 10 minute car journey. I would fully recommend these premises for whatever kind of holiday you’re looking for whether it’s an action packed busy schedule or a quiet peaceful feet up kind of week, this is the perfect place for you.

Seagull cottage is a home from home, all the facilities you could want.

Location is superb, 100 mtrs from the coastline and and all the beaches, pubs, shops. Ideal for staying local or visiting locations around the island. It feels like a home not a holiday let.

The Cottage was in a fabulous location a 2 minute walk from the seafront.

It was immaculate when we arrived and had everything we needed for our short stay. The bed was very comfortably and the lounge was a relaxing area in the evenings. The owner had left loads of information on the island attractions to help you enjoy stay including the local places to eat. A very enjoyable break and definitely book seagull cottage again.

A delightful place to stay, close to the beach ,excellent restaurants, shops and other amenities.

The restaurants were only beginning to get back to normal, but we enjoyed eating outside and had a fabulous meal inside at The White Eagle.Although the weather was not wall to wall sunshine, so many beautiful and interesting places to visit, as well as enjoying the beach and sea..(And our family party ranged from 6 to 90!}So thank you Sykes Holiday Cottages and Seagull Cottage.

Just what I needed - a quiet space to get away for a few days.

The only downside was the weather and you are not responsible for that!
