As you say it is literally seconds from the private rear garden and "beach gate", but the adverts don't capture this well enough. It is the best surprise on arrival we think (the beach is just behind the sand dunes that are on the main picture)! During your stay, we encountered significant damage to the property, which required extensive repairs costing over £1,200 to remedy. We take such incidents seriously and we believe our intent to recover our costs has led to this inaccurate review. Let's respond to the point raised 1) (What Car Park?) our property features a spacious private drive that comfortably accommodates up to six vehicles. It’s essential to note that this is not a traditional public car park but rather a dedicated area for our guests. 2) There are 15 dining chairs around the table (and a further 4 at the adjacent breakfast bar) so we are baffled as to the "11 people" comment, the only thing that can explain this is that the cleaners go to great trouble to set the correct number of places for the size of the guest party that has booked, in this case 11, spending extra time putting out plates, glasses, knives and forks so that guests don't have to and are properly welcomed, 3) The villa is a modern build and offers a variety of bedroom sizes to cater to different guest preferences. While some may find the king-sized bedrooms cozy, others appreciate the intimate atmosphere and prefer a king sized to a cramped double bed. We took the deliberate decision to have zero double beds and instead only king size and Super King Size for extra luxury, we are therefore surprised to see this mentioned as a negative. We also constructed a huge walk in wardrobe upstairs (off the master bedroom) for storing suitcases etc. to ensure more than enough storage for even the longest holiday. Finally, we should mention that we believe open communication is essential, and we hope that future guests treat our property with the care and respect that it deserves. We sincerely hope they was a one off, and unfortunately they will not be invited back to any of the properties that we manage.

We are passionare about what we deliver as it is a product like no other. As you said the location is a shocker, a real WOW factor that is impossible to capture via a small web advert. In terms of storage, the property is huge with a large walk-in wardrobe where all large cases can be stored. We are passionate about all that we have done and continue to do with the property as we know it is unique. Our dedicated and highly respected maintenance and cleaning crew work diligently every week to ensure the property is in top condition. Your score of 81% is one of our lowest ratings and we are really upset. Most reviewers have given 100% as the property is so unique and well placed. Thank you for your feedback, and we're very sorry to hear about the issues you encountered during your stay. The elderly owners were incredibly upset that they weren't made aware of any issues at all and received this damaging review. Chipped dishes, dirty drawers, drainage problems and dog mess in the garden are certainly not up to their standards! The cottage now has a full-time maintenance team in operation and a brand-new 5-star (100% KPI) cleaning company also. We hope you might consider staying again in the future, as we are sure the experience is now 5-star. THE Beach House does offer a unique location (less than a 1 minute private walk to "toes-on-the-sand"!!) and it is an amazing property for extended families which deserves the care and attention that it is now receiving.
