  • "This was the second year at this apartment, and we love it."

    It's clean and has everything you could need. The views are more than worth the stairs up to the apartment... The only things I'd suggest would be: a lift!, little bins on each side of the bed!, a few more toilets roles (we did bring several as I know we use a lot). We were very comfortable however the main bedroom mattress was a little hard. Can't wait to book again for next year...

  • "The accommodation is first class."

    The only trouble we had, given our age, is that we had underestimated the difficulty of hauling heavy luggage up so many flights of stairs. That, however, was our fault. We had overestimated our own capacity. The view, though, was worth the vertical trip. I would recommend that visitors arrive as early as possible, too. I think we got the last available spot for parking. Try not to use your car until you leave, as well. Go where you can comfortably walk. That still leaves a lot to see. Use the little 'road train' if you want to visit Sewerby Hall or the delightful model village. For anything further away, there are buses.

  • "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here."

    There were a couple of things that maybe could be improved. The kitchen equipment was a little lacking for instance there were only 5 bowls if used for pasta, for which they were very small, they had to be washed before we had a dessert. Similarly the cutlery. It’s not easy to dry clothes, we used the leisure centre a lot but found it difficult to dry towels and costumes between visits. We felt parking could be an issue at busier periods. The situation of the appartment was ideal though for reaching Bridlington’s amenities.

Our parking permits offer free parking in the permit zones around the apartment.   • "Perfect location and beautiful views of the sea."

    The apartment was clean and the beds were comfortable. There wasn’t much information given on arrival such as where to take the bins out or what to do on departure. Would also have been nice to have more supplies such as spray to clean the kitchen sides after cooking or kitchen foil etc. just the little things you need when staying for a week that you wouldn’t assume to pack. All other properties we have been to with Sykes have alway left a welcome gift and had information on the area, or things to do I.e board games for when the weather is being British which this property lacked which was a shame as them little touches are why we have stayed loyal to Sykes. Overall we had a lovely week staying here and is great for those with children as it’s 5 minute walk from the attractions and our little boy loved watching the sea.

The seaside resort of Bridlington lies on the east coast of Yorkshire, south of Scarborough and Filey. Two award-winning beaches of golden sand stretch out on either side of the historic harbour, bustling with activity.
