  • "What an absolutely incredible stay!"

    From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking views – waking up each morning to such beautiful scenery was so peaceful and relaxing. The log cabin itself was perfect, cosy, spotlessly clean, and had everything we needed for a family getaway. The hot tub was the perfect added touch, making it even more relaxing after a day of exploring. Sitting back, soaking in the bubbles while taking in those incredible views was simply amazing. The food was another highlight! The pub served some of the best meals we've had in a long time, and the Thai restaurant was without a doubt the best we've had in years. A truly wonderful holiday from start to finish. We left feeling relaxed, refreshed, and already talking about when we can come back. We couldn't recommend this place enough to anyone looking for a peaceful escape surrounded by stunning scenery. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

  • "Lovely lodge , positioned in the top corner with the other lodges quiet location, lovely week, fab thai food from the pub ."

    Rooms are lovely done. Good hot tub apart from the lid Some maintenance needed One of the beds was so sqeeky , loose rail on the back verandah, the gate on entry probably ok for most people but very hard to shut with arthritis. Especially if going out daily Dishwasher needs some TLC , shower curtain let down the lovely room with the ensuite , I presume it originality had glass one !

  • "We had a lovely stay at this lodge and really enjoyed our time here."

    It was clean, comfortable, and in a great location, making it the perfect place to relax. There are just a couple of small maintenance issues that could be improved. One of the bathroom floor tiles was broken, and the shower curtain wasn’t very effective, so the bathroom floor flooded every time the shower was used. These were only minor issues and didn’t spoil our stay. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would happily recommend the lodge to others. We’d definitely consider staying again.

    The hot tub was excellent which was one of the reasons we booked. On the negative one of the beds creaked so much i thought it would fall to bits and a couple of arm chairs would have been a bonus.

  • "Lodge is well laid out, 2 good sized double bedrooms offering 2 bathrooms meaning we didn’t have to share."

    Good quality bedding, towels and robes provided. Well laid out kitchen with all the gadgets. Didn’t spend as much time in hot tub as planned due to cooler weather but it is private and not overlooked. Welcome bottle of wine and a few chocolates which may have been outdated based on taste of one. Sufficient tea, coffee and sugar packets available. Lodge is a good base for visiting local attractions, car is definitely needed. Need to travel for local shops and amenities. Definitely make sure you bring a carton of milk if you want a brew on arrival! It is a small site with only a few lodges so nice and peaceful. Both of us had good nights sleep and no rush to get up in the morning. There is an on site pub which we visited once on recommendation, due to being out and about all holiday. Overall I would recommend roseberry lodge for a relaxing break. I would return again if staying in area.

  • "Stunning lodge located in a great area, close to many family activities and days out."

    Rooms were of a good size and the beds were big + comfy. Well equipped kitchen and a hot tub that was ready to go on arrival. Would also really recommend the attached pub which has been taken over as a Thai restaurant as you can get takeaway and eat back at the lodge. The food was outstanding! All round a brilliant trip away and would definitely recommend. We travelled with 2 adults and 2 children (5 and 2).

  • "Our stay ( Christmas 2024) in Roseberry Lodge 3 was the best yet( and we've stayed in about 12 lodges over the years)."

    This lodge ,was a true 'log cabin' with all the comforts of home and positioned on an extremely well designed site, with a very welcoming Pub on the front road. The area is so beautiful and rural, with a great village ( Stokesley) just a short drive away-with some great shops, pubs, restaurants and a fuel station.

Stokesley is an attractive, elegant, historic market town which was mentioned in the Domesday Book of 1086, with many interesting Georgian and Victorian buildings. The River Leven flows through the town and is crossed by the ancient Pack Horse Bridge. Levenside provides visitors with a peaceful riverside walk, well planted with trees, as a contrast to the bustle of the High Street. The town has a distinguished wide cobbled main street lined with Georgian and Regency buildings. It is well served with shops, banks, public houses and restaurants and the weekly Friday markets are held on the main square. Just off the market square is the Church of St Peter & St Paul which has woodwork carved by the Mouseman of Kilburn. Surrounded by the Cleveland Hills and close to the northern edge of the North York Moors, Stokesley provides an ideal base from which to explore the Yorkshire Dales, the heather clad North Yorkshire Moors and the pretty market towns of Great Ayton, Northallerton and Thirsk. The seaside spa resort of Saltburn is 30 mins drive away whilst Whitby, Runswick Bay and Robin Hoods Bay are within easy reach.
