    "Wow!! This property was absolutely perfect in every way"

    . Absolutely stunning. Beautiful location. So much space. We loved the huge kitchen. All the rooms were immaculate. Decor was stunning. Loved that we had free reign of the building including use of the orangery which was absolutely fantastic. There was 22 of us on our group and we all had the best weekend at Carlton manor. Would highly recommend this place for a celebration! The manager on site was fabulous too and on hand for any queries we had.

    "It isn’t very often that a property matches the listing so well!"

    Carlton Manor was utterly superb in every way. The house was stunning with every room decorated in a distinct but beautiful way. The information and support received about check in and out were perfect. The barn was set up with a large table allowing us to eat together. Just the perfect stay to celebrate a big birthday. We are already planning our next visit. Could not recommend more highly.

    "We have just returned from a fabulous weekend at Carlton Manor."

    On arrival, we were all blown away with the quality of the interior, all bedrooms are en suite and the mattresses are so comfortable. There was plenty of room for all of us, the venue hall was an added bonus, plenty of dancing and singing was the order of the weekend. A number of our party stayed in the pods, they are very spacious with their own kitchenette & bathroom with good views across the open fields & countryside. Aldbrough is only a four minute drive away with a good pub & fish & chip shop. Jenny & her colleagues were all lovely, nothing seemed too much trouble.

    "Excellent stay at the most beautiful house for a girls weekend away!"

    The sound system was excellent as well as the space for everyone to comfortably relax. We only request that there be additional dishwasher tablets as when housing 16 girls for 2 nights, we found we needed both dishwashers to be used regularly. Would highly recommend, we absolutely love it!

    We stayed for three nights the venue is visually absolutely exquisite, warm and inviting. Will definitely use the venue again. Was a lovely helpful gentleman around the site also called Martin very polite when we asked for one little thing he was there to help. Thank you for the lovely stay hope to be back soon.     "We stayed at the beautiful Manor House for a week over the New Year and had full use of all the facilities including the ceremony barn & orangery."

    We were a group of 21 during part of the stay and there was plenty of room for everybody to dine together and sit together. The House is decorated to a very high standard, with good quality furnishings in all the rooms. I would highly recommend this property, as like other guests it exceeded all our expectations and did not disappoint.

    The accommodation exceeded our expectations and was absolutely perfect, every single room was so beautifully decorated and immaculate. The hosts even went as far as putting up a Christmas tree for us and decorations which was just stunning. The kitchen is huge and was a brilliant gathering place for everyone whilst cooking. The bedrooms were unbelievably beautiful, with so much detailing. We had the best stay and could not fault a thing. Thank you so much for having us. We'll definitely book again.

ALDBROUGH

Hornsea 6.8 miles; Hull 11.4 miles; Beverley 16.9 miles; Bridlington 21.2 miles.

Aldbrough is a small village in East Yorkshire, on the coast between Hull and and the seaside town of Hornsea. There are two pubs serving food, a fish and chip shop, two shops for any essentials, a Post Office and a beach. A short drive away is a 15th century country estate, known as Burton Constable Hall and Grounds, which offers tours. Spend a day in Hornsea, where you can visit the museum, enjoy the lovely gardens, take a dip in the sea, explore the amusements and arcades, have a night out in the ample bars and eateries, or visit the Bugtopia Hornsea Zoo. In the opposite direction, visit the city of Hull, which is home to The Deep, a popular aquarium, Hull Minster, England's largest parish church and the Spurn Lightship, which you can take tours round. Also Hull offers a great opportunity for an evening out with plenty of shops, restaurants and bars, many of which look out onto the beautiful dock and marina.

The wedding area can be used when the Manor is booked and can be set up as a large dining area, the owner will need to be advised of this on booking.
