We absolutely loved Falla Farmhouse!

It was the perfect place to meet up with family to explore the area. The farmhouse has everything that you need and is spotlessly clean and warm and welcoming. It's a little remote, which we like but near enough to drive to shops etc. We would highly recommend and plan to return.

The accommodation was superbly equipped, immaculate and ideally located.

The owner Wendy was on hand if needed but also discreet with an exemplary balance of care and communication. Welcome goodies spot on. A faultless place to stay.

A lovely place to stay.

Away from everything and in a very peaceful place but only about 20 minutes from shops etc. The cottage has everything you need and is very clean, very comfortable and well maintained. The owners are very friendly and nearby if needed.

So grateful to Wendy and her family for a wonderful stay in their beautiful farmhouse.

From being greeted by shortbread and wine to an impromptu tour of the farm for my son, the stay was a joy. Thank you!

We were provided with everything we needed. The Farmhouse was extremely clean and well equipped. The owner called to see us to make sure everything was satisfactory, which it was. The Farmhouse is situated in the most beautiful surroundings and we were able to just 'chill out'. The area is also full of places to visit. We would recommend the Scottish Tapestry. We would also recommend this Farmhouse to anyone who was looking to visit the area.

The owner was very friendly and approachable and ensured everything was up to standard for our stay. Every credit should be given to the work and effort that has gone into this property to make it such a perfect holiday home. The cottage is sited in an idyllic quiet location off the beaten track where there is an abundance of wildlife. All in all a rare opportunity to find a cottage that ticks all our boxes!

I can confidently say that it is among the cleanest and most well-managed properties I have stayed at.

If, like me, you are looking for comfort and tranquility in a rural area, this property is even more perfect. Wendy was very kind and also very kind to leave basic necessities for a breakfast the next day in case you arrive too late to do the shopping! As for the Borders, they really amazed me. I have thoroughly visited many parts of Scotland, which I love dearly, but I must say that the rolling valleys and hills of this area ....Wow! A small note for motorcyclists (of which my husband and I are part) this is the right place! But have respect for the place and pay close attention! In short, everything is truly recommended! Thank you very much!

The farmhouse is the ideal place to get a rest : it is well-equiped, spick and span, with great views and within a reasonable distance of attractions.

We really appreciated Wendy's kindness as well as the welcome pack . We'll definitely stay there again when we travel to Scotland

Wonderful cottage - very clean and very well equipped!

Location is lovely and peaceful - the road down to the cottage was great for the kids to ride their bikes. The welcome gifts & card were very much appreciated :)

Our family of 6 had a great time at Falla Farmhouse.

The stay was perfect jn this comfortable house.

My only mini difficulty was failing to master the microwave My fault entirely not been digitally competent Another week would have great having grown into the area but will have to wait till next time

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here , the house was beautifully presented .

It was very clean and well maintained . The kids loved the games room with all the board games and we spent many hours in the garden playing badminton. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you could need , The house is very spacious and as a family of 6 it was perfect for us . We hope to return again sometime .

Falla Farmhouse kept appearing in our searches and we kept putting it on our favourites list.

Well this year we looked to book with only 2 months notice and again Falla came up so we just booked it. We are so glad we did as the house is very well kept and so comfortable on a cold January day. The bed in the master bedroom is by far the comfiest bed we've slept in and as it's quite remote it's nice and dark for those beautiful starry nights so if you like astronomy and have a telescope like us you'll be in your element at Falla. It was our anniversary week and it snowed on day one and stayed right until we left which was perfect as it gave us an excuse not to venture out and stay nice and cosy indoors. Thank you Wendy for looking after us it's one to return to for sure.

Excellent accommodation, with a high standard of equipment, very comfortable beds, and spotlessly clean; very pleasant welcoming pack.

Extremely peaceful and attractive surroundings, with many birds coming into the garden . Falla farmhouse is in an ideal location for visiting the various towns and historical attractions in the Borders. Pleased to highly recommend this most charming accommodation.

Absolutely spotless. It is well equipped and you have everything needed to enjoy your stay. The location is fantastic. It’s rural but close enough to towns and cities to venture out when needed. We had an amazing time and will definitely return.

Top marks, what a lovely property to stay in, in a beautiful setting. Everything was spotlessly clean and furnished throughout to a high standard with lots of extras to enjoy. There were goodies on arrival and a lovely greeting. We walked lots of the hills nearby and visited the local towns and included sightseeing in Edinburgh and parts of Northumbria including Holy Island and it was good to know we had this comfortable cottage to relax in in the evenings. It was such a great holiday thanks to the owners of this fabulous property.

We had a fantastic stay, the house and all the facilities are excellent.

Wendy let my children feed her baby calves and took us a tour of her farm, we all had an awesome time and really appreciated her taking time out of her very busy farm life to be so welcoming and friendly!

It's not the first time we've stayed at Falla farm house.

It's just what the dr ordered. Peace & quiet in a delightful little cottage away from the rest of the world. We had a lovely treat as we arrived wine, grapes, scones, chocolates & not forgetting 6 freshly laid eggs absolutely delicious. Thanks for a lovely chilled out holiday

Falla Farmhouse is amazing.

The property itself is wonderfully located with everything you could need. The location is rural and spectacular. Quiet and yet close enough to Jedburgh that a quick pop to town for something is not hard. Wendy and family welcoming and the farm eggs to die for. Felt relaxed and refreshed after the tranquility of Falla. I would recommend it to everyone families or couples you will find everything that you need and so much more.

A very well presented house that provided everything you could need for a quiet relaxing break.

The owners have obviously paid a great deal of attention to what would be looked for in a rental property. Our first visit to the house but not likely to be our last.

1st class cottage, spotlessly clean, great location, lovely and quite.

And the owners have really made an effort, and make you feel welcome. We stay in a few different cottages every year, but this is proberbly the best we have had the pleasure of staying at, cannot fault it. Definitely will return.

A beautifully presented cottage, very clean and with all the equipment needed for an enjoyable holiday.

Extra touches , wine, milk etc provided as a welcome gift and a visit from the landlady shortly after arrival to welcome us. The cottage is on a working farm but this does not produce noise or smell to detract from the wonderful surroundings. Anyone with a low riding car will have to take care on a short section of uneven approach road as it is rather uneven

Falla Farmhouse was the loveliest cottage we have ever stayed in.

The rooms were immaculately clean and tastefully decorated. All of the equipment needed for a self-catering holiday was really good quality . The welcome pack was very generous and our hosts were incredibly helpful and friendly. The setting was perfect for the peaceful, quiet holiday we wanted . The area in the England/Scotland Borders is beautiful with historic towns, castles and abbeys to explore.

Falla Farmhouse is an exceptional holiday property .

It’s set in beautiful tranquil countryside yet ideally situated for local shops and services and touring the Border towns . The cottage is amazing inside , absolutely spotless with everything you could possibly need and sitting relaxing in the garden surrounded by mature woodland and the sound of the birds in the evening gave us the opportunity to “ recharge the batteries “ after a challenging year . The owners are so friendly and welcoming and the lovely touch of their own eggs , not to mention the wine , milk and strawberries to arrive to was very much appreciated . We would highly recommend the cottage .

We have had a wonderful stay at Falla.

From the moment we arrived we felt at peace and relaxed, it was very clear the owners Willy and Wendy have worked very hard to make their guests feel safe and welcome. The attention to detail far exceeded our expectations, from the thoughtful welcome gifts, to the outstanding cleanliness of the cottage. Everything has been considered, to make a holiday here relaxing and safe, which is so important at this time. We absolutely loved our time at Falla and visiting the Scottish Borders, so much we did not want to leave. We hope to be back soon!

Falla Farmhouse is a very comfortable and well fitted out place to stay.

Near to the farm, but a little separate from it, which is excellent. A good place from which to explore both sides of the border. And a really great place to see the awesome night skies - a real 'dark sky' delight!

The Farmhouse has everything you need.

Very clean and tidy equipped with all you require for a comfortable stay. Situated on a working farm this farmhouse offers a very relaxing break. Wendy is on hand when required and gave us a nice welcome along with some welcome gifts in the kitchen. Would recommend this farmhouse to anyone .

We live inner city so don't have a garden.

This place was on a farm so lots of green space the garden was beautiful. Lots of wildlife such as numerous birds including a buzzard & an owl we even saw a badger. It was so peaceful. The welcome was lovely we even got some eggs laid fresh on the morning we arrived. We have only been home 2 days and have already spoken of going again. Such a lovely cottage. The accommodation was excellent.

It was exceptionally clean and set in a wonderful garden. When you enter the farmhouse for the first time there is a lovely welcome pack waiting for you with a few necessities together with a thoughtful gift of wine and chocolates and a welcome card. If you want a holiday to chill and relax then this is the place to go. The location is such that if you wanted to do a bit of travelling and visit places there are plenty to choose from within a short drive away. We even had a day trip to Edinburgh which was only about 90 mins drive away. Jedburgh is only a 10 min drive and a lovely place to visit. All in all we had a fantastic holiday and the owners are fabulous. Nothing is too much trouble for them. They were so accommodating, friendly and keep the farmhouse so clean that in these uncertain times of coronavirus they make you feel extremely safe. Thank you Falla farmhouse.

Falla was immaculate, well equipped and extremely peaceful.

It is in a beautiful location but still straightforward to find. The owner was friendly, attentive but not intrusive. Plenty to do in the area but be prepared to drive.

The accommodation is all we could imagine, spotless, with high quality kitchen equipment, cutlery and crockery to make the catering so easy.

The furnishings were extremely comfortable and made our stay so relaxing. With top quality beds and bedding a great nights sleep was guaranteed. Wendy was great and could not have done more. 10 out of 10 on all counts - we can say no more!

It's been a fantastic home away from home and we were so grateful for the welcome touches. If you're looking to explore Northumberland, this property is an absolute gem with the most gracious hosts.

We were impressed by the cottage.

It was spacious, well equiped, very clean and in beautiful surroundings. We greatly appreciated the special welcoming touches and Wendy was lovely when we bumped into her. We were a party of six adults of mixed ages from mid 60s to late 20s and we were all planning to return separately, with other extended family members, and together even before we left. We would highly recommend this cottage.

Falla Farmhouse is a special place.

It has all the interests of being adjacent to a working farm. It is beautifully located in a rural setting with fine views, and a pretty garden . The accommodation is light, airy, clean, comfortable and stylish. It met our needs perfectly for a relaxed getaway. Wendy is charming, friendly, and helpful. She had greeted us with some welcome, safe, essentials, and unexpected treats! We loved exploring the area by foot, and by car and are keen to return. Thank you Wendy.

This cottage is the nicest I have ever stayed in.

Our hosts were kind, helpful and welcoming and their cottage is absolutely stunning, pictures don’t do it justice. We had everything we needed for a wonderful holiday base and the amazing views and wildlife on our doorstep was an added treat. I miss it already!! Falla farmhouse cottage is a gem of a holiday cottage.

It's very comfortable cosy and you can tell Wendy has spared no expense in doing up this property. The advantage of it being remote is theres plenty of wildlife about to see but its the perfect base for exploring Jedburgh and the borders in general. It's a great place for kids with a games room and a big garden which our kids loved (and so did the adults

We most enjoyed seeing parts of the country we hadn't seen before.

As for the house, it was nearly perfect. A couple of minor issues (TV needed re-tuning and a loose tap tightening) were attended to promptly.

It was an exceptionall holiday.

The garden was phenomenal, the cleanliness of the cottage and all its facilities were unbelievable. Wendy was such a gracious host, ready to help at moments notice. We really enjoyed every minute.
