    The wizard's wands and harry potter specs on the beds for the children were a lovely surprise and immediately led to dressing up and photo shoots. They also delighted in the generous welcome hamper. We had a great stay.

  • "The Wizard's Chamber was exactly what we were looking for."

    The kids loved it. It's in the perfect location for exploring Alnwick and the surrounding area. There's lots of restaurants and cafes within a minute or two's walk. Parking was easy. There are free 2 hours parking spaces right by the main door and an all day car park a short walk away. We'd definitely stay here again if coming back to Alnwick.

  • "Fab apartment in great,central spot overlooking the market square."

    Spacious,well equipped and the gift hamper was so lovely. Don't be put off by the Harry Potter theme. It's a great apartment. Very small negative that the towels smelled musty. Just probably folded slightly damp. But otherwise very clean.

  • "The accommodation is excellent as is the location right in the centre of town and with castle only a short walk away."

    The beds were very comfortable and all the rooms were lovely and clean. The kitchen had everything you could need. We enjoyed our visit and would definitely consider booking again in the future.

  • "We had a wonderful stay at Wizard's Chamber."

    The accommodation was much better than we expected and the host went over and above to add in extra touches to surprise and delight our children. I have already recommended this place to family and friends and hope to come back and visit again ourselves. 5 days (4 nights) just wasn't long enough to see everything Alnwick and the surrounding areas has to offer - a fabulous, much needed holiday. Thank you!

  • "Great apartment in a fantastic location."

    Welcome hamper was a lovely unexpected treat but I would have appreciated a pint of milk over bread sticks and bruschetta. Wizard theme was well done and a bit of fun..

  • "We had a fabulous stay in the wizards chamber, the location for the town is perfect, there is free parking across the road near Morrisons."

    The owners left us a very welcoming welcome pack - thank you! And the information booklet is really comprehensive and useful. The kitchen is very well equipped and everywhere was warm, clean and tidy. We would recommend and stay again.

    It has a full functional kitchen, nicely decorated and a very homey feel. Lucy was very responsive and extremely friendly and answered any questions and was very welcoming. Easy instructions for check in I would highly recommend the Wizards Chamber

  • "Really nice flat."

    Spacious and comfortable, with everything we needed. Great location in the centre of Alnwick, with lots of shops and restaurants right nearby, but no noise problems. You can walk to Alnwick Gardens/Alnwick Castle. Street parking - we stayed on a Bank Holiday weekend and had no problem parking outside (NB disc parking Mon-Sat). Would recommend.

  • "This apartment is wonderful."

    It’s spacious and comfortable and in a fantastic spot right in the heart of Alnwick. We had a fabulous stay and enjoyed the complimentary bubbles and snacks left for us very much. There is so much on offer within a very short walk from here in terms of eateries and pubs and a supermarket just across the street made life very easy for us to self-cater when we wanted to. We highly recommend a stay at The Wizards Chamber and will be back for sure.

  • "Our stay was perfect."

    The pictures do not do the property justice - it's huge! It's themed just enough. Our daughter loved it, and immediately found all the references to Harry Potter, yet it could still definitely be enjoyed by those with no interest in the franchise. We were surprised by a wonderful welcome hampers that went down extremely well after our long journey. The location could not be better for exploring Alnwick and we never had any problem parking. The hosts were responsive and so friendly. We have already recommended the property to friends, and would definitely book again.

  • "Wonderful! Absolutely spotless, cosy and many ‘treat touches’, making it more like a good hotel holiday."

    The bustling market place below is excellent for people watching and the location is fabulous for those of us using public transport. Bus station within yards and a big Morrisons, although lots of independent shops to shop in (bakery next door). Add in beautiful Alnwick and the Gardens, The Playhouse and Northumberland - what more could anyone need? Do visit Howick Gardens when open…

The attractive and historic market town of Alnwick is dominated by Alnwick Castle, home to the Duke of Northumberland. The Castle Gardens, opened in 2002, are home to Europe's largest cascading water feature, a fabulous (and enormous) treehouse, a delightful rose garden and a beautiful, walled ornamental garden, which will delight novice and experienced gardeners alike; for even more excitement, the enchanted world of Lilidorei is also available at Alnwick Gardens, offering seasonal events and plenty of fun for little ones of your group. The castle is also famous as the setting for Hogwarts School featured in the Harry Potter films!
