Ideal for Alnwick, Bamburgh, etc. The property was quaint and comfortable, with all the facilities we needed, quiet neighbours, and the 'outhouse' (laundry + sun lounge) was a great bonus for sunny late afternoons. Having the bathroom downstairs felt a little weird at first, but we quickly got used to it and it wasn't an issue. Had a great week and would definitely recommend. Reviewed by Alan5.0★Sep 2023 "A lovely cottage in a beautiful setting, well located for visiting a range of historical sites." The owners have put a lot of thought into making the cottage very homely and comfortable from excellent beds to providing a range of essential items. Highly recommended. Reviewed by Stephen5.0★Sep 2023 "We loved our week in Maple Tree cottage." What a pleasure it was to be able to have a morning cuppa in the 'out house' looking out over the fields and stables - it's a lovely, peaceful location, but just a stone's throw from the delightful village of Longframlington. The cottage was beautifully decorated and very well equipped. The garden was simply stunning, and full of birds, and we loved sitting in the garden just watching them (we were blessed with wall-to-wall sunshine that week!). We would return to this cottage in a heartbeat. Thank you for a wonderful week.
