  • "Great location with lovely views and easy to access the surrounding areas, the log cabin was really comfortable and we had a great nights sleep."

  • "Well equipped little cabin on the edge of this quiet park, ideal as a base for exploring the coast and hills of Northumberland."

It is small, would be perfect for two, but worked fine for two adults and one child, would be cramped for four adults.

  • "Although a break is good, being able to be in touch with family is important."

Mobile signal strength limited and no WiFi available. Other than that, a splendid venue

  • "Wow, what a lovely lodge in a beautiful location."

Well presented and equipped with everything we needed for a 2 week stay. This lodge is at the end of the small park so is particularly peaceful with lovely views from both inside and outside the lodge. Outdoor table enabled lots of al fresco dining to just soak up the view and watch the sun set. Only a few minutes drive or 20 min easy walk into the pretty village. Choice of 2 good pubs, a lovely artisan bakery/cafe and small shop. Ideal location for exploring Northumberland, would highly recommend.

  • "Only one problem lodge stared it had an enclosed garden which I checked with one of your reps."

This was not the case. If my dogs were not so obedient it would have been a big problem. Otherwise could not say enough about the cabin just home from home just lovely would go back tomorrow

  • "Location fantastic."

My only criticism is that I believe the chalet has been empty since lockdown and we may have been the first people in and the bed coverings were so dusty. The pillows are in desperate need of replacement, so if comfort is important to you them you must take your own.
