The accommodation was brilliant!

Warm, cosy and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable week's stay. A lovely large fridge freezer, perfect for stocking up on food for the week, and a big TV for those cosy evenings in. The Wi-Fi was also excellent, with super-fast speeds to keep the boys entertained on their tablets! The water pressure was fantastic, with plenty of lovely hot water available quickly. A really thoughtful touch was the welcome pack left on the table when we arrived, which was much appreciated. Bamburgh is definitely worth a visit. My recommendation would be to park in the castle car park, which was £6 for the day. Although there is plenty of roadside and off-road parking around, we noticed quite a few parking tickets on cars that hadn't parked correctly, so it's worth avoiding the risk! Seahouses is only a short drive away and well worth a day trip if you fancy a change of scenery. For shopping, I'd recommend doing a bigger shop in Alnwick before arriving, or using the Co-op in Belford. It's a reasonably large store with parking directly outside, making it a convenient option for picking up everything you need. I would highly recommend this accommodation to families, dog owners, walkers and anyone who enjoys getting out and exploring the beautiful Northumberland coastline. The host, Rachel, was excellent with communication throughout and made sure all our needs were catered for. Thank you, Rachel, for a fantastic stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and wouldn't hesitate to recommend your accommodation to others!

Stayed here a couple of times now and we always have a lovely time.

It’s so peaceful and quiet, I sleep solid all night, ideal for anyone wanting a break from it all. Our lodge was lovely, clean, mostly well-equipped (it could do with some extra kitchen kit like a trivet, kitchen scissors, and some decent chopping blocks and oven trays - minor things) but apart from that, we loved it and we will definitely come again.

A beautiful property in an idyllic peaceful setting.

It is a short drive to nearby Bamborough and Seahouses. Due to the high temperatures it would have been useful to have fans, particularly in bedrooms. Seat cushions on dining chairs a little gruby. Would definitely use this property again and would recommend to friends and family.
