    Well equipped and clean and spacious. The little room for children is a fabulous asset even though we didn’t have children with us . Beautiful view from the property and a great garden for our dog. Ideal to walk into seahouses which has some lovely local shops and pubs to visit .Really enjoyed our time here with our friends.

  • "Bradacar is beautiful."

    We have stayed at other properties offered by this company on the front at Seahouses and this property is worth the xtra money. However, I’m a sucker for good service and, over the years of using this company when I ring up to book the accommodation, I feel the service at the office has gone downhill. I don’t feel there is the usual warm geordie reception any longer and I feel this beautiful property deserves more.

  • "We had a fabulous stay at Bradacar."

    The house is beautiful, luxuriously comfortable and extremely well equipped, one of the best holiday rentals we have stayed in. We had loads of space for 8 adults and our dog, we particularly appreciated the enclosed garden which even our Houdini dog could not escape from! The location of the house is wonderful, right on the beach but an easy walk into Seahouses. We also enjoyed the spectacular sea views and sunset walks on the beach. We are hoping to come back next year - we really did have an amazing holiday.

  • "A fabulous house in a superb location for the beach and indeed the village centre."

    Beautifully renovated. A couple of minor points as there weren’t any dog towels available but had been listed in the description, also the large French windows were dirty inside and out from previous guests and lastly would have been a good idea to put a dish cloth and dish washing brush and milk in the welcome pack. Would love to stay again and will certainly recommend to others

    Thank you for your feedback and we apologise that you found some small issues with the property. We rely on the cleaners to leave towelling suitable for dogs when they accompany guests and we are sorry that this has been overlooked. Equally, the cleaners should have cleaned inside the windows where any marks were identified. The windows are cleaned externally every two weeks by a window company. We will consider your suggestions regarding the welcome pack which we have previously used to provide our guests with various ‘treats’. Perhaps more practical items could be included. Kind regards.     .. Bradacar was a house that I would really love to call home. Beautiful designed, well maintained, fully equipped and thoughtfully presented, even the dog beds were a hit ! One of our pups only ever sleeps on hard floors, no matter how many beds and blankets I've tried, but once she discovered the Dog Doza beds she made a beeline for them as soon as we got in each day ! (I'd love to know which of the range they are - perhaps she'll get one from Santa !) - please pass on our thanks to the property owner and the housekeeping team. We can't wait to return.

    The beach is beautiful and long, great for dog walks as only a few steps from the door, and the house has lovely views over the Farne Islands. Very well appointed and comfortable house with stunning kitchen, and a great enclosed garden to keep the dog safe.

    It was excellently appointed with an amazing, massive, kitchen for entertaining and preparing meals. The finish if of a really high standard throughout and the children's play room is a real bonus even though we didn't have children. We will certainly come back when we do.

Settled into the quaint coastal town of Seahouses, Northumberland, Bradacar is a lovely stone semi-detached holiday home ideal for a family or group of adults.

Park off-road in the ample space provided and unpack with ease into this lovely stone-built holiday home.

After a long journey you will be delighted to settle down in the stylish sitting room with a cup of coffee, greeted by the warmth of a woodburning stove which is set into a stone fireplace, complemented by cream walls, tartan curtains and leather sofas to give a countryside cottage feel.

When mealtimes call, a stunning kitchen/diner will cater to all of your culinary needs, with airy ceilings, beautiful grey cabinets and matching brown worksurfaces lining both sides of the kitchen with a central dining table, and on top of this there are double glass doors letting in seas of light as well as allowing easy access to the garden, making dining alfresco a must, and there is also a separate dining room with a woodburning stove and ornamental fireplace.

Your four-legged companions will be able to get cosy in a room designed for dogs, with beds, towels, a stairgate and access to the garden where they can relax in the sunshine on the lawn.

Four bedrooms and a family bathroom are included in this property, beginning with a king-size with an en-suite, a truly beautiful room with fantastic sea views, loads of storage and a wonderful contemporary feel, and there is also the option of a second king-size with red décor and two stylish twin bedrooms.

Seahouses is a lovely coastal town with a great sandy beach where you can enjoy a picnic with a view or a long walk along the coast, and both are within easy reach of this property.

Seahouses also has a picturesque harbour and offers boat tours for you to explore the beautiful coast and wildlife further, or you can take a stroll through the dunes at Annstead Dunes Nature Reserve.

Seahouses has a selection of cafes, restaurants and pubs, as well as a local store so you can stock up on essentials, however for more eateries and activities, head over to the nearby town of Bamburgh, where you will be able to sample local produce at the deli and visit the magnificent Bamburgh Castle and sandy beach.

A bustling, pretty fishing village with an attractive harbour, situated on the beautiful Northumbrian coast in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Seahouses offers a variety of shops and a good selection of inns, pubs and eating places. Nearby are miles and miles of splendid sandy beaches and the opportunity to visit the bird sanctuary or seal colony on the famous Farne Islands with boat trips running daily from Seahouses, is not to be missed. There are numerous castles and great houses to explore, such as the magnificent castles at Bamburgh, Cragside, and Alnwick (home of the Duke of Northumberland), to mention just a few. Golf, fishing and riding are also available locally.
