With on-site facilities including a shop, laundry, communal showers, and more, as well as close by walks through Sherwood Forest, this group makes a wonderful base from which to explore Nottinghamshire. Be welcomed onto a site surrounded by woodlands and choose between geodomes, deluxe pods, cosy pods, or wooden lodges, with each offering welcoming sleeping areas and an open-plan living space with a kitchenette, and the wooden lodges also benefit from the ambiance of a woodburning stove. The village boasts the church where, legend has it, Robin Hood and Maid Marian got married, and is an ideal location to explore local attractions such as Sherwood Forest with the famous Major Oak, Sherwood Pines with its excellent cycle routes and paths, and NT Clumber Park and Rufford Park and Abbey, with their beautiful grounds to explore.
