Molls Cottage

We spent a week at Molls Cottage at the end of March and were not disappointed.

The cottage is beautiful with lots of space for one bedroom. The garden at the side of the cottage hosted a variety of birds feeding on the bird feeders and it was lovely to wake up each morning, open the curtains and see Mr Squirrel. David and Gail are wonderful hosts and we will certainly stay at Molls Cottage if we are in the area again.

A warm and friendly welcome from Gail and David, was the perfect way to start our break.

Molls Cottage is cosy and comfortable, the perfect place to relax for a short break or a week or two. We had everything we needed and Gail and David were just a phone call away if we had any questions. We would rank it 10 stars if that was an option :). A return visit will be booked shortly.

For a one bedroom property Moll’s Cottage was very spacious.

Comfortable and well equipped and situated in lovely grounds. Within walking distance of Nantwich with it’s choice of supermarkets and variety of restaurants/cafes. Both the nearby River Weaver and Shropshire Union Canal provide great options for walks. Gail and David were friendly and helpful hosts. Would highly recommend and stay again when back in this part of Cheshire.

We can’t recommend Moll’s Cottage too much, it is by far the best accommodation we have booked through Sykes, not that we have had any bad ones.

The cottage is warm, welcoming and excellently equipped and appointed, the hosts Gail and David are so friendly and helpful with advice on places to visit and things to do locally. We will definitely be paying a return visit..

Super week at Moll's Cottage.

Very comfortable and everything we needed was there. Lovely gardens, very quiet surroundings and a real home from home. So much to see and do in the area with easy access to Liverpool, the Wirral and the greater Cheshire countryside. Thank you to our fantastic hosts, Gail and David.

We booked Moll's cottage for a short out of season break in March.

It proved to be the perfect choice. The owners made us very welcome from the very start. Although only for 2 people, the cottage is very spacious. It has previously been a home and this is obvious from the way it is beautifully furnished, spacious and well laid out. The lounge was cosy and comfortably furnished; the kitchen/dining area was spacious and well equipped; the shower room was well thought out and accessible and the bed was of excellent quality. The location, just out of Northwich, was close to several local market towns, gardens and other attractions. Too much to cover in our short break, so no doubt we will make a return visit.

Molls Cottage was spacious, welcoming, modern & cosy.

Although close to Nantwich the setting was very private and had a country estate feel about it. Our hosts Gail & David were very friendly and helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there . It was a great location for exploring the local area and beyond. We’ll definitely be back.

We would say that Moll’s Cottage is worthy of a 100% recommendation.

It’s a very spacious property which is spotlessly clean and extremely well-equipped. The property lies in the huge garden of the owners’ house and has a splendid outlook over the lawns and duck pond to the tree-line beyond. It is a very tranquil and peaceful location with plentiful parking and a charging point for electrical vehicles (we were the first visitors to request to use it). We loved the market town of Nantwich which is just a 30-minute walk away (pavements all the way) and is also within easy reach of National Trust properties such as Erddig, Dunham Massey, Styal, Quarry Bank, Biddulph Gardens and Lyme; all are worth a visit. Bridgemere Garden Centre and Show Garden would also be on our list of recommendations, as would a visit to historic Chester (we used the Park & Ride from Boughton). Owners Gail and David could not have been more welcoming and helpful; always on hand if needed but never intrusive, they were delightful hosts. We unhesitatingly recommend Moll’s Cottage and are sure you will enjoy your stay.

We loved our week at Moll's cottage, it was the perfect place to stay to get out and about to the many places of interest around Nantwich.

Upon arrival we were given a lovely welcome by Gail who gave us a tour of the cottage showing us what was there and how everything worked. The cottage itself was a spacious delight, with everything you could possibly need, a real home from home and very relaxing. All in all we could not recommend it highly enough. It is a great place to stay.

I have enjoyed my stay at Molls Cottage very much.

I have loved the atmosphere, quietness and lack of stress. It is undoubtedly the best cottage I have stayed in. There was a warm helpful welcome to a cottage that is beautifully decorated, tastefully furnished, and very well equipped. The location is lovely, and looks out over well laid out gardens, fields and woodland. Access to Nantwich is easy, a beautiful town with good shopping and places to eat, as well as historically fascinating. I would recommend the cottage without hesitation, and will certainly be staying again.

Molls Cottage is a real gem.

Could not fault it. Offered everything we needed and more besides. Beautifully appointed, comfy bed, lovely and warm, everything had been thought of and provided by our host Gail to make our stay comfortable and memorable. Even had a cake waiting for us! We will be back.

Moll's Cottage is absolutely delightful.

In a quiet location, but central for visits to local beauty spots. It is homely with lovely furniture and fittings. The kitchen is well equipped. Parking is easy and the owners friendly and helpful. It is a lovely place to stay and we noticed in the book that people keep returning, which is always a good sign.

The lounge was very warm and welcoming and the hosts had provided lots of useful literature about the surrounding area and plenty of reading material. It was nice to be able to have a good hot bath each evening after our day's walking.

Faultless, as ever Gail and David always make us welcome in their wonderful cottage. We almost feel part of the family!

The 'cottage' is in a lovely quiet location, with extremely friendly hosts who have thought of everything you might need to make your stay comfortable and trouble free.

There are plenty of walks, places to visit and pubs which provide meals within easy reach. It is a home from home with plenty of visitors returning time after time. Perhaps we should keep this treasure to ourselves !

My wife and I have stayed at many self catering cottages in many different parts of the country and we rate them with a one to five star rating.

Last year we thought we had found the best with everything that one might be need. But this year's holiday at Moll's Cottage exceeded our expectations, not only did it have everything, it was spacious and furnished to a high standard by welcoming hosts Gail and David.

Molls Cottage is just perfect probably one of the best cottages we have stayed at, the hosts where wonderful and friendly and we will be going back for a further stay without question.

Wonderful hosts at molls cottage .

Molls Cottage is a superb holiday base, it's beautifully presented, has everything that you could possibly need & is located in a tranquil setting within delightful grounds.

The owners have thought of everything, they are on hand if you need anything but at the same time are considerate to your privacy. The cottage is well located to enjoy all that Cheshire has to offer, the gorgeous town of Nantwich is close by, it's within easy driving distance of Chester, Liverpool & a whole host of National Trust properties to explore. We loved our stay here & will look forward to returning soon

Slightly misleading in write up as NT properties are mostly in the north of the County.

Apart from that very comfortable cottage owners greeted us and were welcoming and very friendly. Great for walks along canals lots to watch and very restful, a fantastic UK cottage holiday.

Moll's Cottage is well equipped and very comfortable.

It is in a lovely location and not far from The Globe, a friendly pub that serves excellent food at reasonable prices. We found it central for touring around generally and visiting National Trust properties. The weather wasn't great but it didn't stop us from having a most enjoyable holiday. Thanks also to the owners, Gail and Dave, for their friendliness and help during our stay. We would certainly recommend Moll's Cottage.
