Description

A wonderful Grade II listed Tudor-built cottage set in the village of Blythe Bridge in the Staffordshire Moorlands.

With fascinating history throughout and providing spacious accommodation, this chocolate box Staffordshire cottage is just the place for families or friends to enjoy this diverse part of the countryside.

This picturesque cottage boasts original Tudor beams laced through the walls and ceilings, and low windows; a fascinating insight into the property's history.

The large kitchen with dining area provides a fantastic space to socialise and chat as one of your party whips up a tasty meal, while the sitting room with its huge open fire set into a large inglenook fireplace offers the perfect spot to relax and unwind after a long day of exploration.

Upstairs there is a large landing with seating overlooking the garden, three comfortable bedrooms and an additional toilet room.

Outside this Blythe Bridge cottage is a beautiful, enclosed walled garden with mature shrubs and various fruit trees.

There is lots of space to play safely and to enjoy a sunny evening meal.

The parking area at the property is discreet and not visible from the road and with an electric gated entrance this is a very secure area.

Blythe Bridge has a small selection of shops and pubs to enjoy, and a short drive will bring you to some very pretty Staffordshire villages including Cheadle, with its cobbled streets to explore, and Uttoxeter, if you fancy a day at the races.

A little further afield is Alton Towers, while the walking and cycling of the beautiful Staffordshire Moorlands stretches for miles, and beckons you to take in the scenery.

This is the perfect Staffordshire base to enjoy the area all year round!

Accomodation was perfect in every way our party comprised of 4 adults 2 teenage boys and 3 dogs.

Tim and Rosie were 5 star hosts there if we needed them but not intrusive. Great holiday had by all.

Fantastic holiday location ,from the first minute till the last , Rosemary and Tim were perfect hosts, even lending us their wheelbarrow to unload and load the car.

Little things mean a lot. Enclosed rear garden a massive bonus so we could release our hound. The property is to die for oak beams , massive kitchen very neat and well equipped, lounge to relax in, including massive library of DVDs and TV with all the features for the kids, and a computer with games. Thank you Rosemary and Tim

The accommodation was wonderful.

The house had so much character and cosy. Garden nice and big for our 3 dogs and a lovely raised seating area. Our hosts Rosie and Tim could not have been nicer and most accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. The week went far to quick and we would highly recommend this cottage for anyone wanting a great place to stay. The only thing that was not so good was Sykes, it was very difficult to get a reply from them when we had a query before we went.
