We thoroughly enjoyed our stay mainly because of the perfect location and the setting within a vast garden, almost park, with a pond that attracts a wide variety of birds.

Interior and facilities were spot on. Being welcomed with a lovely bouquet of roses and a nicely filled hamper made us feel at home immediately. There were some minor things that needed attention but we passed those on to the proprietor. That was the only negative point however: it was not possible to contact the proprietor and via "Sykes" there was no answer to our request other than that the request expired since they hadn't contacted us within 24 hours... We left a note on departure however.

Fabulous place to stay.

Quiet, except the gentle sounds of the babblibv brook and various wildlife animals, mainly ducks. The complementary gifts were lovely. However, we would have preferred offers of say a fruit selection rather than crisps and biscuits. But finding the all essential tea bags, milk, currant buns, wine and fruit juice was a joy. You really know how tp look after your guests, thank you! Lastly, but not deal breaker, no hairdryer and the laminated instructions were hidden under a pile of magazines. Best wishes, We will be back!
