We had a slight issue with the shower drainage on the first night but it was fixed immediately.

Meeson View is a rare thing, it looks better in person than in the photos.

A delightfully curated home from home it makes a great base to explore Shropshire from, and to relax afterwards. Everything works, both in terms of inside and outside space. Moira and David are lovely hosts who have put a lot of thought and care into Meeson View. And it shows.

We were given a friendly welcome.

Everything there to make a cup of tea or coffee, even lovely biscuits. A chilled bottle of wine was provided too and much enjoyed. Thank you. Kitchen is a joy to cook in. First thing in the morning the doors from living room and kitchen were flung open to enjoy the gorgeous view. Breakfast outside every day (the glorious weather helped of course) then off out to enjoy our adventures. Coming back to the house every day was a pleasure. D and M Lawrie

What a gorgeous place!

Probably the best we have stayed in, and we’ve been to quite a few. Everything was top notch, from the kitchen appliances, log burner, comfortable sofa and chairs, comfy bed, and with thoughtful touches throughout. We will definitely be back.

Meeson View was our home for the week and we couldn’t have wished for a more welcoming and comfortable place to be.

The weather was kind to us but very cold, but inside Meeson View it didn’t bother us at all as it was so warm and cosy, a real home from home property. Everything we needed had been thought of by the owners David who welcomed us when we arrived and Moira. Although in a rural area, the property was very central to main roads which we used to get to many places in the beautiful county of Shropshire, which gave us a perfect relaxing week as well as experiencing the beautiful scenery and tranquility of the area of Meeson. We hope to return to this lovely holiday home again.

Just needs a new sofa and hoover and then it’s perfect in every way!

This was our first time in the area. The barn is amazing and has everything you can ask for . The lovely welcoming gifts were lovely and enjoyed. We will definitely be back .

Meeson View is a superb barn conversion which we loved and enjoyed for our week's stay.

We really appreciated the extensive thought that has gone into every need. Definitely the best holiday home we have hired for a very long time and in such an idyllic setting. The view from the large rear garden is stunning and perfect for an evening sundowner. We were made very welcome by Moira and David and the complimentary wine, biscuits and milk were just what we needed to settle in. The barn is perfectly situated to explore this lovely part of Shropshire with it's many gardens, National Trust and English Heritage properties, lovely villages and excellent pubs.

Owners are lovely, property is finished to a very high standard and you want for nothing. Bed is extremely comfortable which is important for me. The setting is lovely and many nice places to visit in the area. Would highly recommend and we would love to return in the future.

Our second stay at wonderful Meeson View.

It has everything you could need. We enjoyed using the log burner this time and had a couple of days to recharge before we headed out for days out. It's in a great place to explore this lovely part of Shropshire. Moira also went to extra mile and bought in some plant based treats for our stay which i thought was really thoughtful. Can't fault the place and would highly recommend anyone to stay.....I've told everyone

Meeson View by far tops the lot. Luxury property set in an idyllic location in Shropshire. The property was equipped with everything required for a very comfortable stay. Every local attraction was within a short drive away. Moira and David were very welcoming and professional. We would thoroughly recommend this property and most definitely we will return. Thank you both very much for a fabulous time.

Wow, what a property.

The photos don’t do it justice. We have been staying in holiday cottages for over 20 years and this is the best we have experienced. Spacious, light, airy, spotlessly clean, warm, superbly equipped, tastefully furnished and decorated. The bed was super comfortable too. The owners have spared no expense in ensuring Meeson View is outstanding. They had thoughtfully decorated for the festive period too. Shropshire has so many places to visit and we went somewhere beautiful and interesting every day. I cannot recommend this property highly enough and cannot wait to go back.

The property was lovely and modern with all the necessary amenities and more.

It was delightfully placed in a country location with lovely views across the countryside. It was close enough to nearby towns and attractions. All in all it was first class.

This cottage is truly outstanding and the owners have thought about every thing.

There is an air fryer, coffee machine and very spacious. It is set in a lovely natural environment where you can see kites and many other birds. The rea is close to the Ironbridge heritage and Blists Hill Victorian village is a must. The cottage is clean and very well kept and maintained.

This barn conversion was absolutely 1st class with every thing you need for a holiday.

Everything was of the best quality and the barn was situated in secluded area but not too far to local shops. A great area for lovely walks. The views form the barn were lovely with friendly sheep in the field out back. Access to fields and woodlands out the back of the barn. This conversion has been completed to the very best standard and would highly recommend anyone to stay here. We had a fantastic time at Meeson View, it's a beautiful place.

Moira welcomed us warmly and gave us a tour of the property. The open plan layout and the peaceful views were amazing. It was so quiet and relaxing, but it also had everything we needed. I loved watching the robins, guinea fowl, sheep, and the occasional hare hopping around during the day. At dusk, we saw bats and even spotted a barn owl. There are lots of great places to visit nearby. We especially liked Shrewsbury Market, Bridgnorth, and Church Stretton. Thanks, Moira and David, for sharing your lovely property with us. We hope to come back again soon!

We had a marvellous time at the property and would certainly like to return.

It is a beautifully renovated barn with open plan and modern facilities and appliances.It was very clean. The location is ideal and rural although only half an hour to Shrewsbury. It is also easy to get to other Shropshire towns and villages. The owners are on site and both friendly and helpful. If you like a good walk i recommend the Wrekin area which is also close by.

As soon as we walked in the cottage we knew it would be wonderful.

A lovely welcome from Moira who explained various things. Meeson View is just stunning and equipped to the highest standard with top of the range appliances - even a Ninja air fryer! There really is nothing else you could need. Very comfy bed and cotton bedding. The cottage is very warm too - I imagine you would roast if you lit the wonderful woodburner! Love the open plan layout. Very peaceful location and field views - with a few sheep who are great to watch. We had great weather. Would recommend a visit to Hodnet gardens - just stunning. Check opening times. Meeson View has to be the best holiday let we have been in - and we’ve had many!

There was plenty of information about local facilities that were close by and we took advantage of this. The iron bridge was a particular favourite of my husband's. I would definitely recommend staying at meeson view and I would describe it as perfect

Moira's friendly greeting, on our arrival, was the start of a special week.

That first opening of the front door,the very first impression stops you in your tracks. We knew it would be nice from the photos but this is just different class. A wonderful ,tasteful conversation. High vaulted ceilings, sturdy beams,expensive,heavy,lined curtains. Extremely comfortable King size bed with plump pillows and fresh white linen.. The quality equipment in the kitchen( all AEG) and the added bonus of a twin Ninja air fryer. In the words of Peter Kay " It's The future". The tasteful touches,quirky ornaments, ceramic rabbits, gorgeous artwork all add to the ambience. Warm and cosy evenings by the log burner,the centrepiece of this huge room, gazing across the open fields to the woods beyond. Thoughtful welcome gifts of home baked biscuits and a bottle of New Zealand Sauvignon were just the icing on the cake. If I had one very slight issue it was that with all that constant hot water a slightly more powerful shower with the ability to adjust the temperature warmer( taking safety issues into account) would be welcome. However,that didn't take away any of our enjoyment of staying in this beautiful property. Moira and David are fantastic hosts. Thanks so much to them for creating this haven of tranquillity.

We received a warm welcome and really enjoyed a very relaxing stay at Meeson View.

The weather was good, so we enjoyed daily outings in Shropshire, a county we hadn't stayed in, or explored before - plenty to do and see. The accommodation was everything we had hoped for from the description and photos; the garden and land beyond was lovely and peaceful. Amongst other wildlife, we spotted a hare, a pair of wrens and a buzzard. We can highly recommend for a truly memorable break.

'Neeson View' was the perfect self catering accommodation we could of wished for.

Set in beautiful, quiet and peaceful surroundings. We found it spacious, clean, very well equipped and beautifully furnished. It is in a lovely area for having great days out. We visited Ironbridge Gorge, Much Wenlock, Shrewsbury, Ludlow and the Severn Valley Railway at Bridgnorth to name a few.

! The WOW factor as we entered Meeson View surpassed the photos on the website, everything was of top quality and spotlessly clean, a super comfortable bed, amazing views to wake up to and we used the patio and fire pit, even though it was March.

Beautiful peaceful setting.

The accommodation is 5* with a very comfortable bed. We enjoyed the lovely views of the very private garden & beyond. The neighbouring sheep were very entertaining! We would love to return sometime in the future.

Stayed over Christmas 2022, the cottage was decorated beautifully with a tree and decorations.

There was everything you needed in the accomodation for a wonderful relaxing stay.

We loved staying in Meeson view it is immaculate extremely comfortable and well equipped and the icing on the cake is without a doubt Moira and David they are such kind and caring hosts, my husband felt a little unwell on a couple of days their help is much appreciated.

As we mentioned to the owner on departure, the accommodation was excellent, a creative build with flair nd imagination, we particularly noted the art work and appreciated it .

A beautifully kept barn conversion which we r were very comfortable in.

All mod cons provided including washer/drier, dishwasher and all necessary utensils for cooking. Everything about this property is top dollar. Highly recommend it.

Meeson View is a superior property with the Wow factor in a capital W.

From the well equipped kitchen (washer/dryer and dish washer, cupboard space for food) to the really comfortable bed and relaxing space in the lounge areas and a huge patio and lawn to take in the evening sun. We even had breakfast outside once. All fixtures and fittings were top quality and well thought out. Definitely recommend this one. There were NO downsides or minus points.

Relaxing cosy property at the end of a small lane in a beautiful courtyard position with mature trees. Kitchen very well served with all necessary accessories. Clearly a lot of thought has gone into providing a first class experience. Highly recommended and we would love to return again when we can.

Everything you may need is there and we’ve never come across such a large tv. In fact all the finishings are a very high quality. The location is peaceful and relaxing. The cottage met our expectations only because this has been a return visit and we knew exactly what to expect!

The location and layout of the cottage allows for a feeling of freedom and space and plenty of relaxation. Our hosts most pleasant, friendly on hand and contactable if required. Yes like most people we had reservations about leaving our own home during the present Covid 19 situation, but having stayed at this cottage before, we knew the meticulous way the property is kept. Cleanliness and Hygiene measures had be taken to minimize any risks and it did not fail to impress. Once again batteries recharged and we have had another lovely stay.

This was our second visit to this Barn.

Again exceeded all expectations - tentatively coming out of lockdown and returning to new normal - we had no apprehension about visiting this barn. Cleanliness is 10/10. We wanted for nothing. Equipment and furniture are of an excellent quality. Everything was perfect - we had a lovely relaxing week. Hosts are the most friendly and welcoming.. This has to be our No.1 go to staycation.

In Meeson View we found a little bit of heaven!

We were blown away by the exceptional quality of the interior design, fixtures and fittings and delightful funishing touches. Added to the beautiful, peaceful surroundings this really is the idyllic holiday cottage.

Meeson View was absolutely delightful.

Everything you could possibly need was provided and there were lots of little extras. A great deal of thought has gone into making this barn conversion a pleasure to stay in. The views at the back were superb. It is wonderfully quiet and relaxing. We would have no hesitation in making a return visit.

This has got to be one of the most enjoyable breaks we have had.

The cottage is of an outstading quality and very peaceful. An open plan barn conversion,with lots of room for 2 people. It has very good facilities with a fully fitted Kitchen , comfortable lounge and dining area leading to the bedroom. with a king sized bed. Outside is a large patio area with views of the countryside and sheep in the field adjoining the cottage. There is also a firepit/ BBQ for visitors use in the patio area and a lovely log burner in the cottage which is quite a feature.

We had the privilege of being the first guests to stay at Meeson View, and it was an absolutely wonderful stay.

The barn conversion which has been completed by David to the highest standards, was just stunning, it really is a luxurious place to stay. The pictures on the website, whilst completely accurate, do not do justice to the amount of space you actually get in this property, and everything is arranged beautifully. The fixtures and fittings are of the highest quality, and whilst not mentioned in the description there is also a slimline dishwasher and washer dryer which were an added bonus. (Additionally, instructions on how to use all the appliances were also included which is most helpful). The Wi-Fi signal was strong, fast and on the whole reliable, certainly it’s the best Wi-Fi coverage we have had when compared to other properties we have stayed in. This property is all about the detail, from the high quality of the furnishings and accessories to the homemade scones, fresh flowers and miniature toiletries (just in case you’ve forgotten your own) that are provided; it really feels like home away from home and we would have no hesitation to stay here again and again! For things to do we would recommend the Dorothy Clive Gardens (food from the tearoom was lovely), Shrewsbury, Telford, Blists Hill Victorian Town, Market Drayton (small but quaint, great artisan chocolate shop), and if you’re happy to travel a bit further afield then the Potteries and its ceramics outlet stores (Emma Bridgewater, Wedgewood and Portmeirion etc.) make for a great day out too!
