    We had a amazing time it was a very clean and welcoming space clair was very helpful and informative the welcome package was absolutely wonderful something for everybody the children love it beds are very comfortable the grounds are beautiful clair also told us about the history of the mill this place is beautiful and we will definitely be visiting again a big thanks to Claire and all the staff for making our stay there amazing the shaw family

  • "We loved the property, especially for hot tub area."

    The mill pond and garden area were great. The house is fantastic and the bedrooms are beautiful. However we did get a complaint about our dogs. What we thought was our area, according to signage is now a shared area. The door didn’t catch, allowing our dogs to run out. Both of these things are an easy fix. Off road parking is a good thing. The area is great for visiting, Sherwood Forest on the doorstep but Cresswell Crags is well worth a visit. Bolsover Castle also worth a visit. Woods nearby for dog walks. The hot tub and garden area at the house still take some beating. An issue with the house was that there’s seating for 5 but 9 people can stay

  • "A wonderful old mill house, with 4 large bedrooms (2 ensuite)."

    Warm and comfortable, lots of parking. The host was amazing and left lots of goodies and was very helpful and friendly. This property was perfect for us, working in the area for the week, and good value for money. Directions could be a bit better. Hard to find in the dark, and the small sign to the property not visible from the main road. Google took us past the layby turning. I chose the smaller upstairs bedroom because it had a bedside table and lamp. This would be nice in all bedrooms. Kitchen could be better supplied: no washing up liquid, no spare bin bags (although the host provided these when asked), only one dishwasher pod, no kitchen roll and let down by very poor frying pans, with burnt bottoms. These need replacing really. Wifi was good, and house was wonderfully warm. The hot water was always plentiful, I think we only needed the boost once. Thank you for a great stay

  • "We had a lovely stay at Mill View during the bank holiday weekend."

    The property is in pristine condition and the surrounding gardens are lovely. The bedrooms were very spacious and the super king beds were comfortable and a real luxury. The original features of the property have been persevered with a modern twist which makes the whole property very homely. The property is located on a great area with so much to do with a 15-20 minute drive. We would definitely be coming back to Mill View in the near future.

  • "We stayed for an exhibition at Thoresby Park."

    The location was ideal, situated a short easy way from the venue. On arrival, Ashley showed me around, and nothing was too much trouble. The property was beautifully restored and really lovely inside, our hosts went above and beyond.

The property

Nestled between of the village Cuckney and Langwith, Nottinghamshire in a Grade II listed building is Mill View Duplex.

This stunning first-floor duplex apartment has been thoughtfully renovated to a high standard while successfully retaining the charm of its eclectic mix of Georgian and 17th Century farmhouse original features; it benefits from shared access to a picturesque garden with lawn and dedicated patio with adjacent via a lovely brick archway to its own secure off-road parking, a wonderful setting for a family gathering.

After a day of exploration, cross the threshold into your new home-from-home and head into the sleek, fully-equipped kitchen to whip up a hearty meal that can be enjoyed as a group in the grand dining room.

The wonderful wedding venue at Hazel Gap is also just a short car journey away. All are interconnected by the national cycle route which is also easily accessible from the village. Warsop is not too far away and has a fantastic range of shops, pubs and restaurants to enjoy at your leisure. Warsop has plenty of historical buildings and features including a water mill and a windmill dating back hundreds of years. It hosts an annual carnival involving music and sports, held every July.
