We had a lovely stay at Aunt Jane’s Cottage and would happily recommend it.

It’s in a great location for exploring Derbyshire, with lots of fantastic places nearby, including Matlock Bath just a short drive down the road. The cottage itself was very well equipped, comfortable and the perfect size for the three of us. We had everything we needed for an enjoyable and relaxing stay. The owner was absolutely lovely and couldn’t have done more for us. She was always easy to contact, and if we needed anything, she was incredibly quick to help and get it sorted. We were also lucky enough to stay while the brewery bar was open over the weekend. It’s open on Saturdays and Sundays over the summer months and is definitely worth a visit if you get the chance! We had a wonderful time and would certainly recommend Aunt Jane’s Cottage to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming base from which to explore Derbyshire.

Wonderful location on non-working farm.

Close access to Derbyshire villages of Youlgreave, Lathkildale and superb river walks through countryside. Property so comfortable and very spacious and clean. It would have been nice to have met the owners who lived opposite as some local knowledge would have been useful given the remote location, either in person or for some printed informstion to have been provided. Very enjoyable.
