We had a lovely week at Number 4.

The cottage had everything we needed and was cosy and comfortable, there were loads of footpaths to explore in the area and the local pub (The Waterloo Inn) did a good pie and pint of real ale. We avoided the busiest beauty spots but there were plenty of alternatives, with beautiful views in all directions. Just the job!

This is the second time we have stayed in this Cottage (No4), and again we had a lovely relaxing time.

.. Lovely big shower, comfortable (new this year) reclining settees... Plenty of space... Everything you need to have a great Holiday in the Peak District with walks and scenery almost on the doorstep... Recommended...

All window & door glass need a good clean inside and out.

There is mould growing in bathroom shower tray and basin. Bathroom window falling apart and won't lock, could do with a shower mat - I slipped. All furniture is old, 70's flat pack and very dark brown, old coffee table very scratched, t.v. screen very smeary (not cleaned properly or for a long while), t.v. or remote not working properly. Trailing extension lead along lounge skirting and 3 way plug adaptor (both being used) in kitchen, which is very 80's. All ornaments are cheap and unfashionable. There is a dvd player and some dvd's....Really! Desperately needs modernising. We would not stay here again.
