Lovely cottage.

Had a real wow factor when we walked in. Well equipped and perfect location for days out in the area. Beautiful views, very peaceful, hot tub is a lovely addition, perfect for after a busy day out.

The beds comfortable the hot tub is lush the view delightful little slice of heaven you wont be disappointed.

Karl was there to greet us although we were later than anticipated.

He showed us around and how things worked including the hot tub ! There was a welcome pack so that we could make a cup of tea/coffee on arrival which was most welcome. When there was a problem with a security light Karl came straight away to sort it.

Lovely property in beautiful surroundings.

The owners have gone above and beyond to ensure there is absolutely everything you need including a very detailed accommodation booklet with places to visit and local restaurants and takeaways.. The beds were really comfortable, bathrooms great and hot tub was amazing. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend a visit. It’s a perfect location for exploring the wonders of Derbyshire.

Stayed for a week and really enjoyed our time.

Peaceful, tranquil location yet only 12 minutes from the lovely town of Ashbourne, with easy access to Dovedale etc and the hot tub was the star of the show!

You will not be disappointed. It has everything you need and more. Karl the Host is so lovely nothing is too much trouble , super hot clean,hot tub and the beds give the best night sleep, his attention to detail & "our well being" whilst staying there, nothing is too much trouble. Beautiful scenary its a little slice of heaven on earth. We have stayed here 3 times already highly recommended and will be staying in their 2nd of 3 properties with hot tubs which is called the "Wood Shed" end of March looking forward to it already. Its a beautiful relaxing accommodation Luxury and as a little resbite retreat from caring full time its ideal the huge beds and hot tub are just what the doctor ordered.

We came November fell in love with the place its close to home if we needed to get back quickly. we loved our little break Jan and are back booked in for end Feb. It has 1 comfortable side chair in lounge would love there to be another for both of us hubbie is 60 Sept & Im 55 had to have hip replacement aged 45 so whilst the sofas are comfortable the chair is a godsend watching the fab huge lounge TV . However their is no fault at all -anyone disabled can use the wet room after the hot tub which is another plus. Heavenly break for 2 and superb for 4 people too.

Karl our host was very welcoming, The coach house was lovely and warm on arrival and very comfortable with pretty much everything you needed at hand.

The hot tub was a great addition and very private ,yet still able to lookout at the beautiful views. Great location as within minutes drive to lots of lovely places to visit. Loved the photos in the kitchen, as this had places nearby for some ideas, however Karl also did offer to help with suggestions if we had needed some.Will definitely return

Super superb splendiferous The Coach House was everything we wanted and needed and more - little touches like the ice bucket drink, the tree and warming fire - super mirror for make up ladies in the ensuite and the hairdryer for after the long soak of a hot tub session , had the best sleep in the bed in a very long time batteries recharged for us both - Karl was a super host -we have booked to go back end January as they say 'just what the doctor ordered' book it you will not be disappointed Mr & Mrs Brindley

We had a wonderful 4 night stay at The Coach House, Karl the owner was so welcoming and has made his property very comfortable with personal touches.

The bottle of prosecco on ice was a lovely surprise and the milk in the fridge too. The Coach House is an ideal base to explore the Peak district we had a great day at Alton Towers with spectacular fireworks and a visit to Chatsworth House with the best Christmas market. The hot tub was an added bonus with great views from the property. There is a lovely circular walk from the property too. A massive thank you to Karl we would love to return for a longer break to explore more of the local area. Highly recommend

Myself, my husband and daughter had the best stay at the coach house.

Karl the owner was so lovely and was always available when or if you needed him. The house has everything you need from dish cloths to tin foil, towels and handwashes and a lovely suprise bottle of fizz upon arrival. You literally don't need to bring anything with you. Beds are comfy, the hot tub was amazing after a long day of walking. Tv's are great in the room too which my daughter loved. Thanks so much karl and we will be back to explore even more of the area soon.

The cottage was lovely, although the neighbours with hardcore dance music and having sex all night was very off putting, the walls are very thin in the bedroom.

The interior doors of the cottage did not fit the aesthetics felt a little office like. But the amenities, location and hot tub were all amazing wouldn't hesitate to recommend to people

What a fabulous place to stay - The Coach House is a superb place to stay - really lovely decor and spotlessly clean - every thing that you can think of in the kitchen - fantastic view and the Hot Tub was perfect .

Greeted personally by Karl who is a genuinely lovely host - the heating was on when we arrived plus a vase of flowers and an ice bucket with a bottle of fizz ready chilled .. Very useful information pack supplied and pots on the walls with local areas to visit. Would definitely stay again and have already recommended this to some friends . Really enjoyable weekend .

Loved our stay in the Coach house.

The property is very well maintained, the kitchen has everything you need for your stay, the beds are comfy and everywhere is spotlessly clean and we enjoyed the bottle of presseco that had been left for us chilling in the ice bucket. Would highly recommend a stay here.

We had a lovely weekend but felt the property fell a little short of a top rating.

Initially disappointed that it was not as spacious as the pictures suggested. The kitchen was extremely small & dining was very cramped. The living area was nice but I wouldn’t want to stay longer as the sofas were not even facing the TV so would be difficult for 4 adults to be comfortable watch a film. The bed pillows were also very hard & I wished I’d brought my own along.No oven glove or shower mat which would be easy to sort. On the plus side it was in a lovely setting, ideal for a weekend away as we were out walking all day. Nice bottle of Prosecco & a great hot tub

We really appreciated the personal welcome by Karl.

The bottle of Proseco and bottle of milk were a bonus. As he showed around we realised why it is described as 5-Star. The hot tub had already been refreshed and heated ready for immediate use. It was used almost every day of our 10 day stay. The large TV in the living room was great for the darker evenings and two days of wet and windy weather. Being partly disabled I appreciated that everything was on one level and parking was next to the front door. We decided that we want to come again next year. There is so much to see and do in the Dales and Peak District.

This was a great cottage in a very useful location - just what we needed for 2 couples having a week away.

Hot tub was great - just what we needed. Couple of minor niggles stopped it getting a 5 - one was the noisy neighbours - up at 6 and banging around - and with paper thin walls, there was no escaping it. The other was the temp control in the cottage. Visitors were from Australia so they were feeling chilly - even in June - but having to text the owner every time we wanted temp up or down was a level of faff which seemed unecessary. If we are paying decent money for a place, would be nice to be trusted not to abuse the heating options. That aside, great place abd a grand week was enjoyed. Thank you

This cottage really lived up to and went beyond the description on the web-site.

The facilities were superb in all areas and the on-site hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. The location was ideal for visiting the Peak District. We had glorious weather which facilitated the use of the hot tub and sun loungers and the bottle of prosecco was a lovely treat. Thanks for a lovely break Mike and Shirley

Appreciated the welcome arrangements Very accessible for wheelchairs. Quite and peaceful location. Hot tub lid needed repairing but this was explained.

The property was in a lovely part of Derbyshire.

It was within 40 minutes of 3 beautiful National Trust properties that we visited; Calke Abbey, Shugbrough Hall, and Kedleston Hall. The property was also very quiet and we had a beautiful view of the countryside from our decking area, We did feel that the kitchen was smaller than it appears in the photographs. There wasn't much worktop space. However, we were very fortunate to have a lovely sunny week, so we got around this by using the table as we were able to eat outside. The decking area and view was our favourite space to spend time at the lodge. While there the three of us in our party decided to share the en-suite for showering. My husband and I had never used a wet room before and found it wasn't really for us. Due to my poor eyesight and high sensitivity to LED lights I also struggled with the wet room as natural light was very limited due to the small window and dark walls. Unfortunately the LED lights in there were too powerful for me to tolerate. I only mention this for others like me who also struggle with bright lights. I'm sure others would not find this a problem. Unfortunately I only got a couple of hours sleep on the final night because of my intolerance to the previously mentioned LED lights. This is because the property behind us had its bright porch light on all night long shining through our bedroom window. I'm sure this was an oversight because the owner recommended the second bedroom due to my intolerance to LEDs saying no lights would be on outside. Unfortunately it was too late for me to message and ask that they be switched off. Overall we had a very enjoyable break.

We enjoyed our stay at the Coach House, hope to return one day and would recommend it to anyone.

Karl was extremely helpful and expanded everything in detail about the place including the hot tub which was so clean. The bed was very comfortable and both the en-suite and shower room were easy to use and as good as advertised. The only thing being picky was we found the settees a little uncomfortable after sitting on them for a while.

Myself and my husband and my sister and her husband spent 5 brilliant days at bank top farm.

Absolutely couldn't fault it everything was lovely from the lovely comfy beds to the hot tub which was an added bonus. Karl was very friendly and helpful and met us on arrival. Evey where was perfectly clean just like a home from home. Also lovely and peaceful for a well needed rest. The prosecution was a nice touch too. I would definitely recommend bank top farm.

Cannot rate this stay highly enough.

From the moment we arrived, Karl did his utmost to make us feel at ease, at home and ensure we enjoyed our holiday to the fullest. The home has everything we could possibly need*. The two bedrooms are of great size and very ideal to have two separate bathrooms. The lounge was of great size. Perfect lighting , heating and the tv and sound bar were great. The hot tub was great, impeccably maintained and had views to die for. A bonus that the hot tub was covered. The views and this feature were something that made the property standout. Kitchen was spot on and we cooked each night and morning we were there. The info book provided and pictures on the kitchen wall were all extremely helpful. We went for walks and explored the local area but primarily made use of the perfect accommodation. Our stay was over new year and Karl made clear from the start that his priority was for us to enjoy ourselves. Would return without hesitation and feel the property is probably underpriced! Thanks so much for a perfect experience - couldn’t have wished for more! *the only thing we couldn’t find were table mats to eat at the dinner table. Obviously, did not spoil our stay one joy and it’s more likely that my poor observation skills couldn’t find them.

What a beautiful place to stay.

The owners had thought of everything, it was cosy, comfy and had everything we needed for a girls weekend away. Karl couldn't have been more helpful. Perfectly placed to be calm, peaceful and away from the hustle and hustle but connected enough to find plenty to do.

Best place I have been to so far.

Everything is thought about and the owners take great care of the property. It has everything you could ever need... Air fryer, coffee machine, microwave, gas bbq outside, hot tub (not very big, but nice anyway), all the necessities like aluminium foil, bin bags, TVs in every bedroom and also massive TV in the living room (not like other places), the only thing if you are thinking of cooking food take some salt & pepper, spices from home. We even found some cooking oil which was great. A bottle of prosecco to welcome guests, some playing cards and dominos available to play, netflix.... I could go on and on.. highly recommend

We had a fab stay at the coach house, it has everything you need and lots of little thoughtful touches from the owners, who are lovely too and really make you feel welcome and looked after.

We will definitely be going back - it’s relaxing, peaceful and the beds were so comfy - we stayed during a heatwave and with no fans we were worried but we slept like babies! Great base for lots of fun stuff in the area! Highly recommend! Family of 4 with 12 and 9 year old - perfect place for a few days get away! Thank you Karl and family for having us.

We had a fabulous week away staying in the Coach House.

The views from the deck and hot tub were lovely. A great location to stay, we visited Alton Towers, Chatsworth House and the National Space Centre and had a great lunch at the Denstone Farm Cafe, recommended by Karl.

A lovely cottage which ideal for 3/4 people.

The decking out the back of the cottage has a superb view which was appreciated by all when having meals out on the table. The cottage is spotlessly clean and the welcome gifts were much appreciated. There was plenty of correspondence from the owners before we arrived which was very helpful. We enjoyed a very peaceful week - Thank you

Everything about this property was perfect!

We just had the best time! Everything had been thought of and catered for and the owners were just super, nothing was too much trouble. The property was beautiful, we were really sad to leave at the end of the holiday.

A great stay at the Coach House.

Had a very relaxing week. The Coach House had everything we needed to chill out and cook meals in the evening. The only things I would add to the kitchen is maybe a roasting try /casserole dish. Managed with what was there and there was plenty of crockery and pans but a dish to cook a chicken in may have helped a little! Karl was very welcoming, gave us a tour of the property on arrival and fixed an issue with the boiler promptly. The beds were huge and very comfortable and the hot tub a great place to relax in each evening. All in all a great week!

Beautiful property in a lovely area.

Very well equipped with some lovely touches like fresh flowers and prosecco. Great base for Alton Towers but there's also a wealth of other activities in the area.

Outstanding cottage, first rate facilities and furnishings.

Beautiful location, south facing patio which we really enjoyed using to watch the birds and hares in the fields .amazing views, what more could ask for . We had a lovely week , and I’ve are sure it won’t be the last we spend there . Thank you to Karl for his attention to detail and ensuring we had the best week.

This is a lovely property in a quiet location with country views.

The owners are friendly and cooperative, the cottage is clean and well equipped and we found it very relaxing.

The property is well situated with easy access to local attractions and facilities.

There are great views from the outside seating area. The kitchen diner would be a bit small for 4 people and it’s a shame there is only an “ice box freezer” however in the summer the outside space would be lovely and the hot tub and bbq are excellent.

A great holiday cottage in a great location.

The owner couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful. The property was very clean and everything we could have possibly needed was provided. Safe location for our children allowing them to play outside when they wanted to. We had a great week away exploring the peak district.

From the warm welcome on arrival to our unrushed departure, the hospitality and excellent facilities made for a perfect week, the covered hot tub being an added bonus which was a lot of fun especially when the weather was being unkind.

The area is stunning and the perfect place to explore or just chill out as we did most of the time. Karl and the family have evidently put a lot of thought into providing for their guest’s creature comforts, and the attention to detail is greatly appreciated, we lacked for nothing. Heartily recommend this property.

The Coach House proved the perfect base for a relaxing week.

The facilities provided were excellent and all aspects were covered from strong wi-fi to a full wet room with disabled facilities and of course the hot tub to relax in. What was unexpected were many extras from the hosts, such as Prosecco, Flowers, Tea, Coffee and Milk. Our host met us on arrival and could not have been more attentive to any of our needs during our stay. The countryside views from our decking area and pure peacefulness of the location made it a great place to unwind at the end of the day. Not much more you could ask for and no parking issues.

The Coach House was lovely, clean and peaceful.

The hot tub at the end of a day's walking was relaxing with good views across the field and for watching the rabbits. Karl was on hand if you needed anything and nothing seemed too much trouble. I look forward to returning.

Lovely quiet rural location but in easy reach of Ashbourne.

Spacious enough for the 2 of us although kitchen/ dining area was cramped with little worktop space. Well equipped, modern in design and clean. Bed was very comfortable and outside space a plus.

Great for just a relaxing break or for going out and about to visit sights nearby. Very nice owner helpful informative about various things. Such as where to eat or visit. But would definitely recommend as a nice relaxing holiday. The hotub was lovely to relax.in after retail therapy. Will go back again soon.

We had a lovely relaxing stay at The Coach House with my elderly parents.

It's in a beautiful location and very quiet. The owner Karl is really helpful without being intrusive. The beds are amazingly comfortable. The hot tub is a bonus although, beware: I hurt my back lifting the lid on and off on the first use - It's definitely a two person job and even then it's tricky due to the siting of the hot tub. The kitchen/dining room is very small but functional, with very little worktop space or user friendly cupboard space to store your groceries etc. Also, there is only a small fridge with a mini freezer compartment. but with several supermarkets 5 miles away we didn't need to buy too much in one go so we managed. Overall, we had such a nice relaxing time - just what we needed.

Stayed in The Coach house (one of 3 properties at Bank Top Farm) for a week.

The owner, Karl met us on arrival and did a tour of each room plus the hot tub, making sure we were happy with them. A bottle of bubbly along with some other things were a welcome surprise. The house itself is fitted out to a high standard and the garden enjoys some wonderful views even from the hot tub. Would definitely recommend this place for anyone wanting a peaceful, relaxing holiday or for a base to explore the surrounding areas. Thank you Karl. It was just what we needed

We had a really great stay at Bank Top Farm Cottages which began with a warm and friendly welcome from the owner.

The complimentary bottle of chilled prosecco was a very nice touch. The house has everything you could need and felt luxurious with comfy beds, lovely terrace, a huge TV and not to mention the hot tub which was a highlight! Would not hesitate to recommend and we will be back.

We booked this cottage after looking at the reviews and they were not wrong.

This is an exemplary cottage with attention to detail and comfort. Our week started as soon as we arrived with Karl (owner) giving us the introduction, nice bottle of Prosecco on ice and flowers - one happy wife! Cleanliness is second to none, beds extremely comfortable also. Beautiful quiet location, with amazing views. We came up to Derbyshire to see family and it was never a problem to have them over at any time. Our (9yr old) daughter made full use of the hot tub, as did we when we could. BBQ was excellent addition and with beer in hand, looking out over the views, there was nothing like it. 2 other properties adjacent but never intrusive, and if we needed anything at all - Karl (and his wife) were attendant immediately. Even daughter Pip brought over the new welcome back. We have stayed in several holiday lets in the UK with other companies, but this stands out for all the right reasons. Thoroughly recommend at any time of year and we will back - thankyou Karl and family.

Our holiday at The Coach House was wonderful.

The owner Karl and his family did everything to ensure our stay was perfect in every way. The welcoming touches like the prosecco on ice waiting for us on arrival, milk in the fridge and fresh flowers were so thoughtful. The cottage is very well equipped and extremely clean with quality furnishings. Huge comfy beds ensured that we all had a very restful stay. The surrounding countryside and views from the outside decking are beautiful yet it's only a short drive away from a range of supermarkets, good pubs and restaurants. We'd all love to come back.

We had a wonderful holiday in The Coach House.

We were looking for a comfortable luxurious holiday with plenty of space for a family of 4 with two tall teenage boys. This property fit the bill perfectly. Karl could not do enough to help us (but not over bearing in any way), just right. The perfect host. We had everything we needed and more! The teens enjoyed Alton Towers and we enjoyed the beauty of the surrounding area and soaking in the tub in the evening and watching the sunset. We will be back! It was simply perfect!

Accommodation itself was first class, had everything you need for a relaxing holiday. View from hot tub was amazing. Beds & pillows super comfy - best we have had. Biggest TV ever, like being in the cinema. Plenty of parking. Everything was spotlessly clean, including the barbecue. Would highly recommend this cottage to anyone. Thouroughly enjoyed our stay and meeting Karl.

5***** A real home from home, the extra mile Karl,Helen and Pip went to make our well needed break much appreciated, they’re always on hand but not intrusive.

The Coach House was perfect for us 4 adults but similarly would suit a family. The beds are 5* hotel quality, and the kitchen is well sized with everything required for cooking a large roast, fry up breakfast or snacks. Watching the sunset from the hot tub or soaking in the views whilst chilling on the decking was just what I wished for and will definitely be returning.

Absolutely incredible stay here!

Hosts were amazing, accomadation amazing and such a beautiful location and area. The lodge was absolutely spotless and Karl is a fantastic host who you can tell cares so much about his guests and that they have a wonderful stay. Will be recommending to family and friends and will definitely be back soon!

Had the most amazing weekend!

Cottage was so beautiful, cosy and very clean. The host made sure that we were well looked after and was available if we ever needed anything. Would definitely recommend!

We had a lovely Christmas break despite the weather, even managed to cook a full Christmas Dinner!

Karl & family were perfect hosts and even arranged for Santa to arrive early and leave presents under the Tree. Wouldn't hesitate in recommending the Cottage for a perfect break.

From the moment we arrived, Karl was terrific, nothing was to much trouble, we had a bottle of bubbly on ice (it was our 25th Anniversery), all through the week he maintained contact to ensure we had a great stay, the property well this was 5 star plus,plus, all the comforts of home and more.

The weather was wet but we really enjoyed the views, peace and quiet was wonderful. we had a few short trips out and really liked the views of open countryside. We came home refreshed,ready to face the Christmas and New Year period glad we had stayed at this wonderful property.Ron aand Lesley

The property is beautifully kept and we’ve never experienced such comfy beds! Huge thanks to Pip and her family for the warm welcome and for being on hand in case there were any issues (there weren’t). We stayed for seven nights with our 2 children (5 & 10) and even though the autumnal half term weather wasn’t great we found lots to do every day and enjoyed lots of time in the hot tub & cosy films with the cinema tv & Netflix. The local pub is a short drive and does the best homemade chips and the Tissington Trail, Thor’s cave and Dovedale were all just a short drive away. Range of local shops & bigger stores in Ashbourne is great too. Highly recommend and would definitely love to return.

Absolutely fantastic little cottage.

Everything we needed for our week in Derbyshire. Girls loved the hot tub and the cinema room!!! Communication before and during the stay with the owner Karl was brilliant and he even let us carve the giant pumpkin. Would definitely recommend to friends and family and will look again at booking for next year.

The coach house is situated in lovely settings which was made even more lovelier relaxing in the hot tub. The place itself was perfect for 2 which was the case but suitable for a family. Carl, Helen & Pip were perfect hosts, the cottage is immaculate and the surrounding area stunning. 5 stars all round!

Wonderful stay, hosts live next door but didn’t intrude and were very helpful.

Place is lovely, super well equipped and we had a lovely stay, helped by beautiful weather, though if it had been wet we would have been very happy to spend some more time in the cinema lounge. Hot tub was a luxurious treat, and very well looked after by Karl and his daughter. Lots to do in the area for families, we could have easily filled 2 weeks though only had 1. Would recommend!

Lovely greeting on arrival and shown around the premises personally. Nothing was too much trouble to ensure your stay was relaxing and enjoyable. Facilities were EXCELLENT. I cannot recommend The Coachhouse enough and would recommend a stay here 100%.

A truly lovely comfortable and spacious holiday cottage in an ideal rural location handy for the beautiful surrounding countryside.

A great bed, the joys of the hot tub, a comfy lounge all made for a relaxing holiday. With convenience stores nearby in Rocester and a farm shop a bit further on your needs are well catered for. Countryside walks from the doorstep. So easy to find delightful scenery. We spent much of our time in Staffordshire close to base, including two days exploring the multitude of footpaths in the Churnet valley. If you don't mind driving country lanes you'll find astonishing and surprising vistas within just a few miles. Karl and Pip supplied useful local info to assist us. Good to know they are on hand to ensure you have an enjoyable trouble-free time. A small personal note (not a complaint): we love home-cooking when away and found there is not much food preparation space in the kitchen, but it wasn't a big problem and didn't detract from our pleasure.

To echo earlier reviews, we had a wonderfully relaxing stay at the Coach House, ending each day watching the sunset from the hot tub.

The Coachhouse was fabulous.

By far the best bed we've ever had , it is huge! And the hot tub was superb, very spacious just like the whole property but with the feeling of a snug, home like feeling. But the most enjoyable and appreciated aspect of the trip here was the welcome we received from the owners Karl and his family. They looked after our every need from minute one to the moment we left. We will be returning again and the only negative was that we didn’t stay for longer. Fabulous experience and we look forward to our next booking here.

We had a wonderful time at Bank Top Farm.

The accommodation was fantastic. We had plenty of space and the luxury of 2 bathrooms. The beds were huge and extremely comfortably. To sit in a hot tub and see the sun setting was so wonderful. The kids loved it all especially the garden Jenga; our little one used them as building blocks and he was in his element playing whilst we sat and had a drink. We were greeted by the owners who gave a very warm welcome - nothing was too much trouble. We enjoyed some fantastic walks right from the property- thanks to the owners daughter who provided us with a map and walk options. Thank you so much to Bank Top Farm. We will return.

Where do I begin?

How lucky were we to find this gem. From the picturesque surroundings, within easy reach of so many interesting places to visit, to the cosiest accommodation, finished to such a high standard, and with so many extra special touches. To the friendliest of welcomes, we felt at ease immediately. Well thought out even to accommodate two eighty year olds quite safely accompanied by two twenty year old grandchildren who were able to work efficiently from “home” with excellent Wi Fi connection. Intervals in the hot tub with shelter from the elements, but still incorporating such tranquil views was obviously an added bonus and with 24 hour 40 degree heating was wonderful after a days work. Lovely walking area. Owners have thought of everything for their guests comfort and we are looking at dates to come again. Thank you for a wonderful break. Maureen and Pete Ensor.

This is a lovely holiday home with incredibly comfortable beds and Netflix available in both the sitting room and the bedrooms which the kids were over the moon about.

The hot tub was a wonderful way of ending the day and made it possible to sit out under the stars in late October which is a great experience. Karl and Pip were both very friendly and helpful and the thoughtful extras - fizz, flowers, biscuits, milk - made our stay special. Thank you.

Staying at this cottage was nothing short of amazing, from homely fixtures, decor, cinema lounge, all TVs with Netflix, the cosy fire place, big hot tub, to the way you're truly looked after from start to finish.

The owners of this property recommended places to visit, to eat and went above and beyond to make us feel at home away from home. I could not find fault with anything, the thought that has gone into making an unforgettable experience for all that stay sets this cottage apart from the others. I cannot recommend this place more highly, truly a stay to remember! Thank you so much to everyone that made our stay so special, we look forward to our next stay at the cottage!

We booked Bank Top Farm only a couple of weeks before we visited.

How lucky we were. It’s new to Sykes cottages. The cottage is decorated beautiful. The kitchen is fully equipped with all you would need. We only slept in one room with there being only two of us. The bed was massive and very comfortable. The shower room is great. Not a powerful shower but adequate the floor gets quite wet but there is a squeegee mop to clean up. This project is all new to them and they love feed back to improve. The hot tub is wonderful. We went in every day about tea time and it was lovely to unwind after walking. Fantastic view from it. The heating is good. The TV is a smart tv so you can watch Netflix as a guest and all catch up on your sign in. The location of the cottage is good for driving to places. Pip has made a excellent picture board on the wall of nearby places to visit. We visited 3 of them and thoroughly enjoyed them. We did have a walk one evening and it’s easy to walk to a pub if you wanted to. Nearby is a Marks and Spencer food and an Aldi if you need to stock up. The owners live on site and couldn’t be more helpful. The cottage is peaceful and quiet and we couldn’t recommend it more. It’s wonderful.

The house was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay.

We especially enjoyed the hot tub! The location was fabulous, in the countryside, but close enough to plenty of amenities. There were plenty of thoughtful extras that made the stay extra special. The hosts were also lovely. Everything was very clean and it was clear extra measures were in place to ensure this was the case in the current pandemic. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this to others!
