Description

Resting beside the Broomhead Reservoir, with tranquil sounds of flowing water audible from the peaceful front patio garden, is Oak Cottage, a delightful semi-detached cottage found in the village of Bolsterstone, on the fringes of the Peak District National Park.

This two-bedroom property adjoins Holly Cottage (Ref. 1066256) by a door in the sitting room, carefully camouflaged by a large bookcase, and soundproofed, should you not wish to book both properties together.

This property is perfect for a couple or small group wanting a relaxing getaway, or for a large group to come together and enjoy the tranquil setting.

Step inside to find a contemporary-style, tastefully decorated property, with an inviting sitting room boasting reclining chairs, ideal for kicking back with a good book, as well as a sofa, placed in front of the electric fire and TV, so you can look forward to cosy movie nights beside the fire.

The spacious dining table can seat up to eight, an ideal place to come together for home-cooked meals, prepared in the fully fitted, sleek kitchen, offering all the appliances you could wish for during your stay.

When it's time to catch up on rest, move upstairs to find a king-size double and a twin, both resting under the eaves and boasting Velux windows, while boasting ample storage for your belongings and sharing use of the family bathroom with bath and shower over.

Oak Cottage is a fantastic retreat for those wanting to explore the Peak District national Park.

Note: This property can be booked with Ref. 1066255, together sleeping eight guests.

Lovely cottage, requires some minor maintenance, the patio door blinds are sticking and hard to open, the shower head is loose and can spray water on the wall if the pressure is high.

Just minor details that require a little attention.

Our 5th visit to the Cottages, very comfortable stay as usual and in a great position to walk the Reservoir.

Plenty of space in all rooms .
