Accommodation was perfect!

Location was fantastic and the cottage spotlessly clean and smelt beautiful. We had everything we needed and the welcome pack was wonderful. The bed and bedding was extremely comfortable and the hot tub was sublime (lovely to have the bathrobes too). The parking permit was a huge bonus also. Communication with the owner was perfect - we have stayed here twice now and definitely hope to stay again, thank you for everything.

What a lovely quirky little cottage.

Great property in a fab location right next to the river Severn.

Well-maintained throughout. The cottage is very well-equipped. We stayed as 2 couples with our dogs and the property is perfect for this with bedrooms on separate floors. The hot tub was also a great treat. The host was easy to communicate with and friendly. We appreciated the essentials left for us, such as milk, butter, tea, coffee, toiletries. It’s a great place to stay in Bridgnorth.

The cave hot tub area is lovely a great setting to relax in.

The cottage is small but has everything you need but a lot of the kitchen utensils ie baking trays oven dishes need replacing,(they are stained and not possible to clean up. it’s fairly early in the holiday season but the bathroom, garden, kitchen could do with a bit of maintenance (painting and sealant). Overall we had a good stay the owner provides a lovely welcome pack and the communication was good. For us it’s a gem that just needs a little polish.

What a place!

Bridgnorth is a hidden gem, attractive and historic. 31 Riverside is another gem, an old, characterful house with comfortable accommodation for 4 people. It is well equipped and well furnished. And then there’s the hot tub in a cave - spectacular! What a setting for a hot tub! We were so chuffed that we chose this property. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back. Susan was very available for support and was friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

We thought the presentation and cleanliness was very high quality. Good location with only a short walk to pubs and restaurants in Bridgnorth, and a good area for walking.

We’ve just returned from a wonderful week-long stay at 31 Riverside (Feb 14th–21st).

Staying here as a couple with our dog, Buddy, we found the cottage perfectly suited for a relaxing February break. ​The Standout Features ​The 'Hot Tub Cave': The absolute jewel of the property. It is atmospheric, private, and felt like a real luxury to retreat to each evening. It’s a unique feature that really sets this place apart. ​Perfect for Dogs: Buddy had a great time. The enclosed courtyard felt secure, and the proximity to riverside walks made the morning routine easy. Bridgnorth itself is incredibly dog-friendly. ​The Location & Vibe: Being right on the river is lovely. We walked every day, exploring the beautiful scenery around Bridgnorth. The local people are exceptionally friendly, and the welcome pack from Sue was a thoughtful touch that made us feel right at home. ​Food & Drink Recommendations ​You are spoilt for choice here, but our highlights were: ​The Black Boy Inn: Our personal favourite for a drink and a great atmosphere. ​The Royle & The Fat Olive: We had amazing meals at both—definitely recommend booking these. ​The White Lion: A must-visit for their lovely Yorkshire pudding wraps! ​We had a brilliant stay and would highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a cosy, characterful base in Shropshire.

Just spent Christmas at this cottage and it was lovely.

A few nice touches including the welcome pack of bubbly, cakes, milk & crisps, a couple of vases of fresh roses, bowls & treats for the dog and Christmas tree and a few other decorations. The hot tub in the cave was brilliant. Nice dog walks along the riverside straight from the doorstep. A short walk up into town where there are plenty of shops, cafes, restaurants & pubs. Would definitely recommend and we may visit again.

What a lovely place to stay.

So much care and attention from the decor to the wine and basket of food. Great location for eating out in Bridgnorth and for seeing the town. The hot tub in the cave is such a brilliant and original feature. We will definitely visit again

The owners left a lovely welcome hamper and Prosecco which was a lovely touch - the hot tub in the cave is fantastic - would love to come back in the summer months!

We absolutely love this cottage.

The owner clearly takes great pride to ensure a comfortable holiday. Love the added extra touches I.e fresh flowers and welcome pack and cosy throws. We have been several times and each time we have spotted new additions to the cottage. Bridenort is a lovely town offering some great pubs, shops and plenty of places to eat. The only negative I can give is that we had to come home. Thank you for everything you do. Thank you

Just back from a lovely brake at riverside, sue was absolutely fantastic messaged on 1st day with everything we needed to no, cottage was lovely and homely with everything we needed and more for our stay, cottage was immaculate very clean, photos don’t do the rooms justice, beds very comfy and rooms relaxing, hot tub under the stone arch is an added bonus, was welcomed with a lovely basket filled with items until you get to the shop, and a bottle of proseco, my son is disabled and loved the quietness of the cottage, and didn’t put him out of sorts being in a strange house, there is everything you need within a short walk too.

Lovely cottage, lovely town.

The cottage was very comfirtable for 3 and a small dog. We loved the hot tub in the cave. Very quirky. We had everything we needed in the cottage and lots of small details made our stay very comfortable. Would definitely recommend 31 Riverside.

Amazing second stay ,very clean and fresh, with some lovely thoughtful touches.

The hot tub cave is perfect after long walks and exploring the many cafes and pubs bridgenorth has to offer Carnt wait to return next year

We had a lovely stay at the cottage.

The welcome basket was a very nice touch. The cottage was clean and well-maintained. Bedrooms and bathroom are decent size and the bedroom on the first floor has a wonderful view of the river. We did find the bath towels a bit on the small side and not in keeping with quality of the rest the linens. Location is excellent with just a short (uphill) walk to the town. An M&S food store is just 5 minutes walk. A permit is provided for parking and we had no problem finding a spot (sometimes a bit further down the street). The lounge and kitchen are not very big but functional. The kitchen supplies were good but the frying pans need to be replaced as they are in poor condition. Note that the dishwasher is not in the kitchen but in the 'cave'. The hot tub was nice and uniquely set in the cave:). We had a great time and recommend the host and cottage - we will most likely return.

It was a really nice place to go the town is very clean.

The people are very friendly specially if you have a dog only one pub in the town would not let the dog in the Cottage was out of this world. I would recommend this to anybody.

We had a very pleasant stay at this cottage, it is very small but packed with everything you need.

The hot tub is very tastefully done and nice and private which is a real plus. The welcome basket and extra detail that the owners provide is exceptional. Best thing about this is the location to the town and views of the river are literally on the doorstep. Have to recommend the Old Castle for food it was fantastic. Highly likely to return. Our second visit to this stunning little property So we knew it is beautifully presented, spotlessly clean and impressively well equipped.

We knew the hot tub in its cave is quirky and unusual and enticing. We knew the cottage has a lovely setting on the banks of the River Severn and we knew it is a mere stones throw from the welcoming amenities of delightful Bridgnorth. And we knew, with walks from the doorstep, it is perfect for the pooch too! We knew we would once again have a great time. Thank you, Sue, for your 5 Star cottage.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Riverside cottage!

The cottage was spotless and has clearly been put together with such attention to detail, we were really impressed. The hot tub cave is incredible and the luxury welcome basket left was just so kind & thoughtful! Our dogs loved the local walks, lots of dog friendly places in the town too. We’re already looking forward to a return visit, would highly recommend!

As a small family with a dog we found the property to be great to explore Bridgenorth, with great furnishings, there is everything you need there like washer, dryer, dishwasher, hairdryers, irons, plus extras like an amazing hottub inside a cane, which is spectacular.

We will definitely be returning as the host was friendly, thoughtful and had thought of everything, and we appreciated the extras left by the host. Thank you for making our trip memorable.

So knew what to expect but yet again 31 Riverside delivered ! What a fab New Year break we had. Bridgnorth is a fab town, with lots to do and see and we did a couple of great, long, riverside walks. The local architecture and history is fascinating and the cottage is perfectly situated to enjoy it all. Considering this is one of the smallest cottages we have stayed in, it's possibly one of the best equipped, you really have thought of everything. We love the hot tub cave, it really is the icing on the cake. The welcome basket with fizz was very lovely and the lig burner kept us cosy warm. Thank you so much Sue, we will definately be back again !!! Highly recommended to all.

My stay at 31 Riverside was incredibly enjoyable from start to finish.

Though I didn't meet the hosts in person, communication was seamless. They provided clear instructions for check-in, making the process easy and stress-free. It was clear they cared about providing a great experience, as everything I needed was carefully laid out, and they were quick to respond to any questions. The cleanliness of the house was outstanding. Upon arrival, I immediately noticed how well-maintained and spotless the property was. The house was impeccably clean, with every room tidy and thoughtfully arranged. The living area was inviting, making it easy to feel at home and comfortable. 31 Riverside offers a peaceful and relaxing environment, and the attention to detail in both cleanliness and convenience made for a truly pleasant stay. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable, hassle-free retreat! One of the standout features of the property is the cave with the hot tub. It truly offers a unique and luxurious experience. The cave is beautifully designed, creating a cozy atmosphere, perfect for unwinding. The hot tub, surrounded by natural stone and ambient lighting, provides the ultimate relaxation after a day of exploring.

Had a great mini break at 31 Riverside, perfect location with pubs and restaurants all within walking distance and a great field to exercise the dogs.

The cottage is well stocked with all your essentials, even poo bags and dog towels were provided if you needed them! Welcome pack was fab and the owner even checked for allergies before putting the pack together. The hot tub in the cave is a real experience and was very much enjoyed by myself and the other half.

Owner takes a pride in the cottage and it shows in the quality of the furnishings and the cleanliness of the accomodation.

Bed very comfortable. Parking on the outside road was never a problem esp. with the parking permits. So many walks directly from the cottage and many dog friendly pubs within the immediate area. A great place to stay.....

An amazing week in this little Tardis of a cottage!

All was exactly as described and spotlessly clean. As the description warns, the staircases are particularly steep but even with my dodgy knee they were not too much of a problem (I only clouted my head once on day one and was fine after that). The beds are superbly comfortable and more than worth the climb to the top floor. The powerful shower is more than capable too. The highlight was the cave with the hot tub! I will happily return to this treasure of a town and most definitely to 31 Riverside!!

This is a gem of a place and the icing on the cake was the cave with the hot tub inside, absolutely lovely.

Definitely recommend and will be re-booking for next year. The basket of goodies were fabulous, fresh flowers in the rooms, ropes excellent idea. The cottage is super cosy and comfortable. The area is great, make sure you go to the upper part of Bridgnorth, be aware steep hill walk, but a must, visit the greenhouse pub food is lovely. Accommodation big enough for the 3 of us and a dog. A lovely little cottage, spotlessly clean with beautiful finishing touches. Great location. The cottage is slightly on the small side for 4 adults spending time in the cottage. Maybe offer a discount for lower occupancy? The jacuzzi area is fantastic!

Cottage well maintained.

Very clean, hot tub fantastic. Beds comfortable ample hot water. Little court yard very dog safe. Cottage so handy for getting into town which is stunning and so many eateries and pubs!!! Parking available on street and parking permit was a godsend. Will definitely go back and recommend to anyone. Thank you for thoughtful welcome basket.

A really lovely well equipped cottage.

We enjoyed our stay and the thoughtful welcome pack. Very good location for access to Cliff railway and Bridnorth town.

Stayed for a weekend with friends, lovely cottage, beautifully kept with everything we needed for our stay, comfy beds, fully equipped kitchen if eating in, fantastic hot tub in a quirky cave, loved it.

Great location right on the riverside at the bottom of High town, parking outside cottage was no issue, plenty of spaces. Thanks Sue for the welcome hamper, The fresh flowers and robes were also a lovely touch. Would definitely visit again with the family .

We have rented this property many times and each time it lives up to our expectations so that is the best recommendation, we have also booked again for later on in the year.

But for those who are thinking about booking you won't be disappointed. It is beautifully kept and well equipped. The beds and 3 piece suit are all very comfortable with added soft furnishings for extra comfort. All in all our little bit of heaven to escape from rat run. The top bedroom stairs could be difficult for some but this is always the room of my choice as its so bright in the day but still cosy in the morning. The hot tub is lovely and located in the most perfect spot so come rain or shine it's a pleasure. The cottage is well situated close to the town with plenty shops. We have booked other properties but this is definitely our favorite. We don't have a dog anymore and it always surprises me that I have never found evidence of a dog in the house which just shows the high standards of cleanliness. The owners communication is brilliant and responded to any questions we had very quickly. Nothing was to much much trouble to ensure our stay was complete. The black boy pub just behind the cottage is recommended, no frills just a nice friendly pub.

This was our second time visiting this cottage, and our stay was just as relaxing and enjoyable as the first.

A delightful cottage within walking distance of the shops and river walks.

There are many different sets of steps to walk up to the high town or you can meander up and round the streets. We cooked meals in the kitchen…It’s only small but is fully equipped with all mod cons. And of course, the hot tub is a winner, inside the cave at the back of the cottage. A very clean and well maintained place,

Its a property full of character and the setting of the hot tub in a cave makes it really special.

Spotlessly clean, high quality finish and in a nice location next to the river. Parking was no problem at only a short but steepish walk into the town center. Would point out the stairs are fairly steep but I guess that is to be expected in a cottage like this.

It was a lovely small cottage, we needed a dog friendly one, so we chose this property.

It wasn't until we paid that we got told no dogs upstairs, our dog is only young and has never been left alone, we wouldn't have booked this cottage if this was told straight away in the description. Me and my husband took turns sleeping downstairs which wasn't very comfortable at all. The hot tub was lovely but got told to only switch it on and off, the jets weren't very powerful at all (maybe energy cutbacks??) was just like having a warm bath. Location was great, would I stop here again, yes but without a dog.
