We had a wonderful October half term stay here with our 4 kids ages 7 to 16.
They layout was great, we loved the fire. The kitchen was set up well with everything we needed. Kids loved the pool, the grown ups loved the grounds. I followed the arrows and was absolutely blown away with the gardens. The towels were super soft and fluffy and all the bed linen seemed of high quality, The showers were great, though the king ensuite was on the small side we mainly used the family bathroom as also had only brought one shower gel! Highly recommend. We visited Alton Towers, Chatsworth House, Bakewell village, Ilam Park and Matlock. Would happily come back to explore the area more and will recommend to friends!
Great accomodation with amazing views.
Well equipped kitchen. Delighted to find "proper" large bath towels. Staff friendly and welcoming. Had a little difficulty with WiFi connection at times especially when using car charging points. However plenty of charge points available. The pool is an added delight and the ability to have exclusive use for a period each day a great plus.
The accommodation suited us perfectly.
It was comfortable and spacious, the fixtures and fittings and were high quality and the views were excellent as were the gardens we were allowed to explore. We really appreciated the ambience of the place and the warmth of the owners and the staff ... they were friendly and helpful without being intrusive.
