You've found your Shrewsbury holiday let. Great location, wonderful townhouse, perfect hosts. They, and their property, are well - deserving of the rating. The pedestrian bridge over the river is closer than it seems on the map - just at the other end of the carpark. Once across you are a hundred meters from the bus station and then a major three - level shopping center on the far end of the terminal. The town itself is very walkable with the elevation being only a slight difficulty. And although the carpark - which might be quite convenient if you are driving - is one of the town's major parking spots, it's sight, activities, and nearly all of the sound are blocked from both the townhouse and the wonderful front garden by the stand of willows (as in Willow View). The kitchen is a modern wonder within the quaint well - furnished Victorian townhouse with everything you could need to cook wonderful meals or serve up some take away from nearby restaurants. The shower in the bathroom is also wonderfully modern and greatly appreciated. The friendly Anchor pub is within literal crawling distance. A thriving theater is just across the road from the pub and a marvelous bakery just a bit further up the road. Your hosts live nearby, very friendly and communicative, and are completely familiar with the town and its attractions. I will be back.
Excellent property with everything that we needed for the week.
It is close to the main car park (reasonable extra charge and lots of available space) and so easy to walk into town or along the river. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well-equipped and spotless. Great communication throughout.
This was our first stay at ‘Willow View’.
It was a lovely property, just minutes from Shrewsbury Marketplace in a quiet area. The property was very comfortable and super clean. Owners were quick to respond to any queries and offered a generous welcome pack which was appreciated. Everything was on hand that we needed. Lovely kitchen and bathroom and comfy beds. We travelled by train and found the property was only a 10 minute walk away. We had a really lovely stay, would have no hesitation booking again and highly recommend.
