The cottage is very well kept and well equipped.

The Owner was very helpful with check in time and parking. Stairs are quite steep but well lit with a handrail. Would recommend.

High View Cottage is a lovely little place to stay for a couple or a single person.

Clean and very comfortable. Everything you need is there. Very short walk to car park and village. So quiet and peaceful. Nice view of the entrance to Peak Cavern. Visitors shoukd be aware of the steep cottage staircase which wasnt a bother for us. We would higly recommend. Castleton village is great lots of nice places to eat and drink. Will be visiting again.

We really enjoyed our stay.

The cottage had everything we needed and was very homely. A short walk to the centre to enjoy a pub meal and a wander. The added bonus for us was it's close proximity to the Peak Cavern or Devil's Arse as it's otherwise known, where we had tickets to see a band. We could see the cave mouth from the front door! Great communication from host. Thanks for a lovely stay!
