A spotlessly clean, well equipped accommodation in a very good location.

Lots to do from doorstep or only a short drive away. The information provided on walks was very much appreciated, so was the lovely welcome pack which was a nice surprise. Beds very comfortable.

The best of the best.

The owners had thought of everything to sensor lights at night and a step up to get in the bath. Was in a great location as near pubs and shop, didn’t have far to drive for attractions. Was a great holiday. Thank you.

A lovely spacious clean apartment.

Fell in love with it the moment I stepped in. The lovely welcoming pack was much appreciated. Great location too. Enjoyed lovely walks/ hikes not too far away. Shops and cafes and restaurants nearby. Would definitely recommend.

A really good apartment, well-equipped and clean.

A perfect base for us to explore the Peak District.

Although we had read previous comments about the shower dripping it had not been fixed.

To keep the property up to a 4 star the TVs needed to be updated to Smart ones as there was a limited choice of viewing with no catch up availability. Otherwise the property was as described.

Very clean and comfortable apartment.

Lovely to have tea, coffee, milk and a Bakewell tart....much appreciated. We used the apartment as a base to visit a relative in the area which was perfect. But it's a lovely part of the world, near Matlock, Bakewell, Haddon Hall and Chatsworth, lots to explore.

Lovely place to stay.

We were doing a lot of walking in the area and it was a pleasure to go back to the apartment after a long day out and about. Had everything you need there. Would highly recommend staying here

Comfortable (especially the bed!

), clean and well-equipped apartment in great location. Shops, restaurants and pubs are within easy walking distance and it is a great home base for exploring the Peak District. We would have preferred a more modern smart TV so we could get Netflix etc. but only a minor niggle (as was the dripping shower!).

Property is well equipped and finished to a high standard.

It had everything we needed for a comfortable four night stay and is well situated for easy access to a number of local places of interest. Peak Trains station at Darley Dale is within walking distance and Matlock, Chatsworth and Cromford Mills are a short drive away. Still more to visit, so we may be back for round two!

This was a perfect place to stay for a short relaxing break.

Accommodation was spotlessly clean and modern with a pleasant garden to sit in. Welcome pack was very nice touch even down to milk in the fridge. Public transport on your doorstep to get to local places. Would definitely stay here again. Thankyou.

Everything you need and very clean. We only had a short stay but it gave us the break we needed. We would definitely return. Thank you for the welcome gifts they were helpful and enjoyable.

Definitely one of the best properties we have stayed in.

Very spacious for a one bed property. Ideally located to visit local "must sees", most of them by public transport, which was extremely good. We only needed to use our own car twice in the week we were in Two Dales. Excellent nearby restaurants/pubs, some easily reached by foot. I would heartily recommend No 4 Westmoreland.

4. The apartment was clean, bright, well-appointed, convenient for local amenities and buses, and in a quiet street. The king size bed was very comfortable and the bedroom was huge with plenty of wardrobe space. The seating outside was very pleasant (when it wasn't raining or blowing a gale!). Parking was good once you got used to it! The owners, Gemma and Adam, have made no. 4 a very welcoming place, including a thoughtful welcome pack. Thank you both! We hope to have the opportunity to stay here again.

The property is spacious, comfortably furnished and has a well equipped kitchen. Michael, the owner was helpful and quick to respond to any queries we had. I would highly recommend this property which is very well situated to explore the wonderful Derbyshire Dales

Lovely, stylish, modern, comfortable holiday place set in beautiful countryside.

Has everything you could possibly need provided. Owners on hand if needed and quality pub to eat in walking distance, plus shop. We thoroughly enjoyed our few days stay.

Great location to explore Derbyshire!

Very clean, comfortable & welcoming apartment, a short walk to shops, bus stops, beautiful local park with duck pond, pharmacy / medical centre, local pub which serves daily meals & Sunday lunch, a cafe & petrol station! Who could ask for more, it's fabulous! Additional walks in the countryside & beside the train track, leading to surprises & good pubs. Very friendly people & delightful owners who provide a lovely welcome pack. Thank you we hope to be back soon.

Lovely Stay in Matlock!

I had a fantastic stay at this place. It was spotless, well-equipped, and had everything I needed for a comfortable break. The location was perfect — peaceful but still close to shops, cafes, and local walks. I loved the cozy atmosphere and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

The appartment felt welcoming and spacious and was well located for walking and visitor attractions.

A vegetable peeler would have been useful and the stick on/fall off towel hooks in the bathroom could do with being replaced with ones that are screwed to the wall but, otherwise, there was everything we needed. The tea, coffee, biscuits and milk were a nice welcoming touch and a good selection of guidebooks with suggestions for walks was available.

Very nice property.

Given the size of the bedroom we were surprised there was not a king size bed.The apartment was absolutely spotless and in a superb location. A couple of suggestions, a light over the bathroom mirror would be useful and some curtains in the bedroom as during the nice weather a lot of light penetrates the shutters in the early morning. Overall a lovely place to stay

This was an absolute find.

A really comfortable, clean, well appointed and decorated home. Thank you for the welcome pack, much appreciated. The outside space and conservatory an added bonus. We visited Hardwick Hall, Kedleston Hall, Crich Tram museum, Buxton. Had a delicious Sunday roast at Barringtons. So much to do and see not enough time. We really didn’t want to leave and will be back.

Overall, it was a very nice stay, however the shower needs a little bit of attention due to once being used it constantly drips unless tightened excessively, which we did, but feared breaking it.

For food, try Barringtons, really nice meals and not too expensive or Joni's is great for breakfast or brunch. We went to the plough inn, based on their website, however they don't do food anymore.

Beautiful apartment just perfect for two people.

Very comfortable and great location. Thank you for the welcome pack the Bakewell tart and wine were delicious! Fabulous location we loved visiting the local areas. The property is so comfy to return to after a day exploring and has everything you would need. Although we did only have breakfast there as the local pubs and restaurants were great for eating out.

I had a great stay at 4 Westmoreland and didn’t want to leave! I booked this for a solo holiday and it was perfect, the property is modern, spacious, and was very clean and well looked after. The welcome pack and goodies provided were a lovely touch. This properly also has the comfiest bed I’ve ever slept in! It was well located with a Coop and a pub just down the road, and towns like Matlock and Bakewell just a short drive away. I would definitely recommend this property and will definitely be back!

The property was beautiful, modern, spacious and clean - it was in a lovely location close to all amenities and a short drive to everywhere!

Although there are still plenty of walks from the doorstop. Welcome gifts were such a lovely touch and we will definitely be returning to this property at is was genuinely beautiful
