We loved Gapstile and it was perfect for 6 adults and two young children.

Car parking for 3 cars was good. Couple of minor queries were solved within a day by the owner- excellent! Best room was the kitchen/ dining area with plenty of space. The kids took over the lounge, the 'snug' isn't really as it is part of the corridor from the front door to the lounge. Locking the downstairs 'jack and jill' bathroom access from the lounge made it an on-suite which was ideal for Grandma and Grandad!

Great stay in a beautiful house.

So tasteful and had everything we could need. Ideally situated to explore the area and close to Alton Towers. Enjoyed a lovely meal in the local pub - thank you we all had a great stay .

Gapstile is a great family home.

We enjoyed a really happy multi-generational weekend. The house is beautifully furnished - the sofas are comfy and the bedding is cosy. The kitchen is extremely well equipped and a Sunday roast was no problem. Outside there is plenty of garden for running and several places to sit. The children enjoyed picking apples from the tree and tomatoes from the kitchen garden. Abbots Bromley has no fewer than 4 pubs within easy walking, a great coffee shop, two play areas and a small community shop. We had a happy outing to the Children's House in Sudbury (20 minutes by car). Our hosts were welcoming and responsive to our questions. Gapstile is highly recommended by us.
