This is such a lovely little village to stay at.
The grounds to stroll around, the lake with the ducks, heron and fish jumping out of the water. We stayed in the Hardwick house, a real home from home. So much space for everyone, a large well equipped kitchen with a lovely big table for everyone to gather round. Big living room with 3 big couches. All the bedrooms were a good size. The family room was amazing our daughter her husband and 2 children had plenty of space. The plumbing is a little slow getting started but then its fine, all the showers had plenty of pressure. The WiFi isn't great, but again it didn't spoil our weekend at this lovely place. The staff were very helpful and so nice. We will definitely return and would recommend it.

Good location for visiting the surrounding area, right on lakeside with large area of grass right outside which is ideal for playing on unless it rains then it quickly becomes waterlogged and flooded Several lightbulbs were either missing or not working throughout the property which indicates a lack of attention to detail.
Everyone commented on how uncomfortable they found the bed The upstairs plumbing is very antiquated, the toilet flushing was very temperamental and one toilet was leaking all over the floor, the shower tray in at least one room did not drain until you flushed the toilet ! Overall the property looked as if it would benefit from a deep clean and re decorating from top to bottom
