Was a lovely property, ideal location.

However the property looked very run down and could do with some serious tlc. Frayed stained carpets, wallpaper stained and coming off walls. Garden areas were very tired and not cared for. Also the property wasn’t particularly clean. Whilst putting washing on radiators to dry, I noticed various things behind radiators, odd sock, pencils, and they were very dirty behind rads too! The house just wasn’t particularly clean! Also pictures led us to believe that hot tub area was in same vicinity as the balcony area, but was in a very small enclosed area, wish was also very untidy and not appealing. Hot tub head rests slung anywhere, broken pots and food bins in corner. Such a shame as it’s a beautiful old property with lots of character and in ideal location. And didn’t stop us having a lovely holiday.

Perfect for the centre of Matlock bath.

It’s a very steep hill even though a short distance. Lovely to have a large outside balcony and hot tub. The studio bedroom is separate from the main house which I think needs putting in the description. Needs updating, lots of minor things need doing which would make a difference. We enjoyed our stay.
