What guests are saying
We enjoyed a pleasant week at this property but found the comfort downstairs was not matched upstairs in the bedrooms.
Fortunately we found a nearby parking space each evening but at times it was a worry. A few more additions to the property such as a casserole dish, measuring jug and additional toilet rolls would be very helpful. A small welcome pack would have been much appreciated after our long journey.
We had a great stay at School Cottage, very relaxing.
The cottage is lovely, especially the beautiful living and dining area. It's in a nice location and there is plenty to do in the local area and nearby. Parking was not a problem. The owner was friendly and had lots of recommendations for different interests. Would definitely recommend!

Fantastic location. Didn't need to use the car at all. There are literally walks everywhere. Thanks to the owner Christian for the recommendation on our last day it really was a breathtaking walk The walk into Holmsfirth is nice and the bus back, stops 5 minutes walk away from the cottage. The food at the Butchers Arms was great and we also visited the Red Lion but only for drinks. Will definitely return.
