We had such a wonderful time at hollydale it was fantastic from beginning to end we were so sad to leave the place was spotless the views to die for I can’t put it all into words just book it you won’t regret it

Hollydale is in a beautiful location and exactly what I was hoping for.

The facilities on site were comprehensive, from hot tub and sauna to games room and more: my party didn't make full use of all these but they are there for others who would love them. Personally, I loved (trying to ) teach my grandson to play chess with a giant set while friendly chickens wandered around the board between the pieces, and small playground with sandpit in a tractor tyre next to horses, ponies and donkeys. The kitchen and living room are large, well equipped and coped well with our party of 7 adults, two children and one dog. Two of the bedrooms are large and characterful, two much smaller, but all have ensuites. A lot of thought has gone into the decor and ornamentation, so there are many small points of interest all over the house! We had a wonderful long weekend there, reuniting parts of our family for the first time in decades, and Hollydale was ideal !

The facilities were excellent and a lovely spacious and well equipped farmhouse for us all to use. We really enjoyed using the hot tub, sauna room and games room along with relaxing in the garden admiring the fantastic views. Had a wonderful week and would all really like to return again in the future

Fabulous property.

We were a party of 8, celebrating a special birthday. Can’t fault the facilities at all. Beautiful setting, we were spoiled by the weather but I’m sure with so many facilities we would still have enjoyed without the sunshine. Loved it all. Going miss morning coffee with the highland cows!

What a lovely place for all of us to spend some quality time together!

The house has been perfect for us all and the games room was an absolute hit! The house is so well equipped and we loved sitting having breakfast whilst being watched over by the highland cows! We did some lovely long walks including Cheedale stepping stones, Lud’s castle and Dovedale. Hollydale has been everything and more. Thank you for the best stay!

We came to Holly Dale to celebrate one of our daughters 30th B/d and extended celebrations for my 60th.

This property is the perfect place for families, facilities and location are fantastic . We had the Animal Experience on the Saturday, we cannot recommend this enough, 8 of us (all adults!) never stopped smiling for the two hours, as Jenny expertly led us to meet the Highland cattle, Alpacas, Donkeys,Wallabies and collect eggs from the Hens! Hot Chocolate and sandwiches capped of the perfect day. Holly Dale is a very special place, by far the best holiday home we have stayed at.

We had a great time at Hollydale to celebrate a 40th birthday.

There were 7 members of the family with ages ranging from 14 to 77 and there was plenty to keep us all occupied without having to leave the property. Our grandson loved the gaming room. The house was lovely and warm with comfy beds and lots of hot water. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and hope to return.

Just celebrated my husbands 70th at HollyDale.

The party ranged from 5 to 70 years old and there was something for everyone. The sauna and hot tub were a great hit as was the games room. The house was well equipped and a good standard of fixtures and fittings. We had a really good 5 days and I would recommend this property to anyone.

The house we stayed in was amazing.

Every room was clean and tidy and decorated lovely for Christmas. My nephew and his girlfriend loved the hot tub an spent ages in the games room playing table tennis. All in all well worth it.

Great accommodation, lovely views, interesting quirky decor, very well equipped.

The family loved the gnome gaming room, the games shack as well as the hot tub and sauna. Thanks again for making my husbands 70th so memorable, with your kind gifts.

The property was hired with a group of friends as surprise for my husbands 70th birthday.

I cannot thank Jenny enough for the balloons, cards and gift she left for my husband, it was a lovely touch. The house is fantastic with a lovely large lounge which like the outside of the house was decorated beautifully for Christmas. The four en-suite bedrooms also had lovely Christmas bedding in situ plus bathrobes. The kitchen was well equipped and there was an abundant of hot water all the time and the property was lovely and warm. Unfortunately due to the wet weather we were not able to use the outside space which looks lovely with quite a few sitting areas. The games room was however well used over the weekend plus the karaoke machine with great hilarity, also the hot tub. There is play area outside for children. Plus there are wallabies, sheep, hens and llamas which were lovey to see within the grounds. Thank you once again Jenny and Scott. We will defiantly be back and would recommended the property to anyone. Heather Cross

We had a lovely long weekend at Hollydale.

The facilities were excellent and we all throughly enjoyed ourselves. Plenty of space and something for everyone. We would 100% look to book again in the future.

Fantastic property, we brought 3 generations together for a long weekend, and we chose this property as everyone had their own en-suite, but having the Games Shack was a real bonus for all the family on wet and windy days, as was the hidden snug for the younger ones.

Holly Dale is absolutely stunning accommodation.

All furnishings and fittings are to a really high spec with some lovely quirky touches. Really clean and comfortable sofas and beds. The welcome basket was fantastic a great start to our 60th birthday celebrations for one of our party. Great outdoor spaces, hot tub and a sauna. The host were really friendly and welcoming too. Loved the animals, wallaby's, highland cows, sheep, horse, chickens and a peacock too If you are thinking of booking Holly Dale you will not be disappointed! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

We had a fabulous long weekend at Hollydale celebrating our son’s 30th birthday and also our twin grandchildren’s 1st birthday.

The accommodation was ideal for all generations, and stair gates were a welcome surprise. Hollydale was a home from home, comfortable, well equipped and clean. The games room, sauna and hot tube were enjoyed every day. We will definitely be going again.

We stayed here as a family of 5 with ages from 4 - 41 with a couple of teenagers in between.

A couple of friends joined us for the weekend and birthday celebrations too. This house was able to cater for all of us by keeping us entertained in the games room, outdoor areas, parks and also allowed us to all have our personal space with everyone having their own bathroom. We loved our time in HollyDale and used it as a base to visit Alton Towers, the wildlife Park and to go on some lovely walks but in reality, you don't need to leave the grounds. The house was well prepared with everything that you might need and more, we even had a bottle of bubbly on arrival :). The weather was amazing during our visit, so spent our time mainly outdoors (the outdoor heated seated area was a massive hit for us) but I imagine that this house would be incredible during the winter months too. I have recommended HollyDale to friends & family as we cannot speak highly enough of the service we received and the amazing experience we had here overall.

From coffee with the cows to cocktails in the hot tub - Hollydale was perfect in every way.

Beautiful cottage set in a lovely location.

Very clean and spacious rooms throughout and lots to do for all the family. Great games room ,hot tub and sauna. Lots of places to visit nearby and lots of great dog walks. A great place to stay and would definitely return in the future.

This is a really special place, ideal for family groups.

We stayed with our two adult children and respective partners plus labradors Tilly and Katy and had the best time. Although the weather was definitely better at home in the South, it really didn't matter. After spending the morning walking the dogs in beautiful countryside, it was great to come back to a soak in the hot tub or take a sauna, with evenings spent in the fantastic private games room, with pool and darts tournaments proving a family favourite. The house offers plenty of space inside and out and is very well appointed, including the kitchen which facilitated our family 'come dine with me' competition during the week! We cannot recommend HollyDale enough.

We had a fantastic stay at the cottage, the location was perfect, and the house itself is beautiful, set in such a lovely setting.

The little touches, like the provided soaps, shower gels and dishwasher tablets, were really thoughtful and appreciated. It was a great weekend celebrating my brother’s 40th birthday. We're already looking forward to coming back next year!

Absolutely fantastic property, could not have asked for more.

After a day of walking it was lovely to come back and relax in the hot tub and sauna, and finish off in the games room. Beautiful views all around, nice to see the highland cows and the lambs.

Amazing property!

We were two families making up 7 people and a dog. We enjoyed the well equipped property with the added bonus of a large games room, hot tub and ample garden space. Located close to the Roaches so great for walking with plenty to see and do close by.

Wow !!! This place is amazing . There were 8 of us altogether and we all had an amazing time . The location is just beautiful! The house itself was immaculate and we didn’t want for anything . Each bedroom has its own bathroom which was brilliant . The kitchen had everything you needed. The houses decor is so lovely and quirky . Games room and hot tub/sauna were all well used by us all . We were so lucky with the weather as well ! Nice dog walks etc . We will be definitely recommending this house to “everyone “ we know . We had an excellent long weekend at the cottage, everything was perfect for a family get together with so much to do both at the property and in the local area.

An amazing property.

We booked this for a surprise 60th birthday with the family. Everything you could need is in one place from the hot tub to the games room! The owners were so accommodating giving us a later checkout and early check in. Would highly recommend.

Having the hot tub already heated for our arrival was perfect - we wasted no time in enjoying the outside space in the middle of winter! Games room is a nice touch. All of the bedrooms are spacious and the bathrooms are really lovely. Simply couldn't fault the place.

Hollydale is just beautiful in every area.

We couldn’t of asked for anymore. Everything has been thought of to make it just so special. The owners were very friendly and super heloful. The cottage was well equipt, clean and we felt very at home. The hot tub, sauna and games room were great and everything was there to make packing so easy ( towels, gowns etc ) I was super impressed the owners even provided towels, sofa throws and treats for dogs. It was a beautiful cottage where we had a fantastic Christmas. Five star place

Everything has been done to ensure you have all you need for a brilliant stay. Games room has something for all the family, snooker, table tennis, darts, karaoke, books. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spotless as is everywhere in the cottage. What a lovely find! Thank you!

Property was AMAZING!

clean, well maintained, great views with all the little luxuries you could want. Hot tub on an evening looking over fields and hills after a day of walking the dog or one of the trails close by. There’s a lake less than 15 mins away with activities like kayaking and paddle boarding, and quaint villages all around to explore. For the kids (and the grown up kids) there is karaoke, pool, table tennis, darts, and a retro arcade games console. Perhaps you fancy a bbq one evening and sit in the pagoda for a family meal? Maybe you fancy a sauna…go for it! Close to Alton towers should you want a visit there too. Lots of field space for football, tennis, badminton, frisbee right on your door step. The stay here is worth every penny in my opinion and the owner is super lovely who goes all out to make sure your stay also has the personal touch! I can’t recommend this place enough!

We were a group of 7 adults and Hollydale exceeded all our expectations.

From the well equipped kitchen/utility room to the most comfy beds and powerful showers and every room was spacious and immaculate. It was the perfect place to spend some quality family time, like a home from home. The outdoor heated seating area was so cosy whilst we sat out late into the evening and then the heated games barn which everyone loved! The setting is also beautiful with the views of the countryside from every angle and yet a short drive to some great walks and pubs. This is one of the best places that we have stayed in this country.

Hollydale is exceptional for a holiday break for 8 people.

It is in a peaceful location but so near so many wonderful attractions that there is not enough time in 7 days to explore everything. We had a fabulous time and fully recommend it.

Could not fault the property .

Every detail was to the highest standard , and every possible requirement thought of . Except to get some more supplies , there was not need to leave the property for the 3 days we were there . This is by far the best rental property we have stayed at. For take- away we would recommend the Chinse Gourmet , who deliver to Holly-Dale Cottage

Host was lovely - the house was ready earlier so we were able to get in before planned.

Place is great, met all our needs. We thoroughly enjoyed it and recommend to others. Location is also beautiful, views from the hot tub are outstanding, close enough to amenities to pop out in the car if you forget something for breakfast etc. Everything is so well thought out inc towels and robes for the hot tub ❤️

The house was beautiful and so clean with so many home comforts we had a lovely 5 days stay making use of the sauna, hot tub & games room it was just the most relaxing time.

Comfortable country living.

From the moment you arrive you feel immersed in the countryside, surrounded by space and scenery. All weather outdoor facilities supplement the comfortable interior. Ample space and everything you need for a relaxing break. Decoration is bright and cheerful, a welcome change from the cream and green of some properties. A quiet location but only a short journey to shops, walks and attractions. Host very friendly, meals fantastic.

Stayed at HollyDale with family for my dad's 60th.

6 adults and 2 dogs. The house and grounds where amazing. Everything has been thought. We enjoyed the games room and hot tub daily and the outdoor sitting area is heated so we even got to enjoy it in all weather with the lovely views Couldn't fault the property or the owners and didn't want to come home. What an amazing week

The house was beautiful and the views were gorgeous. We made good use of the sauna, hot tub and games room. We were grateful for the cot, high chair and stair gates and for the dog bowls, towels and cover. Our multi-generational family and dog had a great holiday - thank you.

This truly is the property that has it all, we wanted for nothing.

The family had a wonderful week and so many things to do and lovely places to visit almost on the doorstep. When the weather wasn’t so kind we were more than happy to spend the day at Hollydale and were not short of things to keep us entertained. I could not fault this holiday accommodation and the owners were lovely too. Will look forward to a return visit in the future.

Great place to stay, clean, comfortable and very well equipped.

Good location, just 3 miles for Leek, so convenient to pop to the shops to stock up when we arrived, but at the same time never too far from all the Peaks has to offer.
