The house was in an amazing location, the deer were a welcome addition to the surroundings, the hot tub was relaxing, for us it was a required break, practising mindfulness was a treat as it was mostly quiet and the sound of birds echoed , the views form the house windows was breath taking.

We loved our stay at Highcroft and will recommend to others. It was a beautiful location and a beautiful experience. Jo was amazing in responding to us quickly, despite being so far away!

We really enjoyed staying here.

The hot tub was a big hit with us all and those beautiful views and deer at the back. The rooms were clean and towels were supplied. Everything worked well and the fridge and freezer were plenty big enough for us. We had a couple of things we couldn’t find (previous occupants had possibly taken) but the owner was very communicative and supplied us quickly with what we needed. This is a beautiful house in a beautiful location. Perfect for visiting all the local Derbyshire towns like Matlock, Ashbourne, Belper and Bakewell.

We went for a 3 nights summer weekend break with a group of friends.

The house is an amazing, very clean, modern, kitchen fully equipped. The area nice, beautiful and calm. A lot of things to do around. It was 10 of us and everyone loved the place. 100% recommend. Anna
