This beautiful 17th century timber-framed cottage stands in a delightful courtyard setting attached to the rear of Meeson Hall, a majestic country house built in 1640 which today is surrounded by 8-acres of gardens, grounds and rolling farmland beyond.

This lovely Ironbridge cottage provides charming quality accommodation, perfect for a family holiday or a romantic break in a truly stunning location.

This Ironbridge cottage boasts a wealth of character oak beams, wall timbers, an impressive galleried sitting room with vaulted ceiling and an inglenook fireplace with woodburner, all creating a welcoming and cosy atmosphere.

On the ground floor you'll also find a well-equipped kitchen and a cosy study, with stairs leading up to the lovely en-suite master bedroom, twin bedded room and separate family bathroom.

The spacious private courtyard garden at this Ironbridge cottage is a gardener's delight and is an ideal place to enjoy a drink or alfresco dining on a summer's evening, whilst the estate grounds provide relaxing strolls through woods and paddocks.

Absolutely the best accommodation we have ever stayed in!

A very warm welcome from the kindest hosts. Fluffiest towels, immaculate bedding, so clean throughout, beautiful welcome pack - plum jam was delicious! (we bought two more jars to bring home) So much space for four adults, we enjoyed the courtyard and gardens and loved the stable door onto the courtyard from the kitchen. We did not want to leave!

Beautiful cottage, courtyard and gardens.

Host Mark was friendly and very approachable, happy to help with any advise or recommendations you need. The welcome hamper was a lovely touch. We will visit again when we are in the area. We have also recommended Meeson Hall to friends and family. All in all a great stay. Thank-you.

One of the best places we have stayed in.

A comfortable, historic and quiet place to stay, but not too far from good roads and great countryside and attractions.
