Great property, Great location and a Great pub in the village
Great place to stay all you need for a fun relaxing holiday.
Great area to explore local village pub great food beer and very friendly. Overall great holiday and accommodation. Clean and quite no issues.Hosts really friendly and we loved their two dogs. Would definitely recommend. Left our hats and owner contacted me and posted them back to me at no cost lovely touch thank you.
Booked following recommendation of friends who had recently stayed in the property.
Only when the key box code failed to work did we realise we were in a different property, as shown on the details leaflet. Directions to the property could be clearer. This is a confusing little village with poor road signage. By the time we had started to wrestle with What3Words, we had found it. A problem often found in lettings is seating furniture that is too low for people of average and above height. The cooker top was not fully cleaned. Floor areas beneath the bed and bedside tables were covered in a thick layer of dust. This was not found on a tour of inspection, but rather when trying to find a lost earplug used when sleeping. Guests wishing for a peaceful rural idyll throughout their stay might want to study the Manchester Airport website, which provides commendable detail of aircraft flight paths and their operational profiles. Clearly this is not a factor unique to this property, but an observation that we wouldn't want to live in this general area given the proximity to Manchester Airport and its operational hours.
