What guests are saying
Very pleasant stay in property that had many authentic features.
Easy to walk everywhere. TV had Netflix and YouTube which I didn't realise until later in the week! Parking was a bit uncertain with so many cars near the properties but not a big concern.
Although the property looked nice on the photos, I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the appliances - specifically the oven and the washing machine, The oven looked like it had already been well used and I was not happy to use the oven trays provided to put food directly on to.
The washing machine had a lot of black slime around the door seal. There were no microwaveable dishes so could not use the microwave. We stayed for two weeks so I would have expected the bedlinen and towels to be changed. Although I asked the owner, she did not seem keen to let us have a change of linen - in fact, she was surprised we were staying for two weeks. The sofa in the living room was not very comfortable - it may have been a sofa bed? The property is probably more suitable for shorter stays of just a few nights, it was not so comfortable for two weeks.
Charming appartement close by Pavilion Gardens and Market with some nice shops and many pubs and other simple eatingplaces to chose from.
Well-equipped kitchen. Slept well but mattress is a bit sagging, and the bed creaks. Also car noise was sometimes disturbing. Good shower, clean bathroom, a bit chilly.
