Cavendish Suite

Whilst this was a remarkable apartment that was tastefully designed there were a few things that sadly let it down.

First, the blind in the bedroom was impossible to open or close without standing on the chair, as the cord was too short to reach normally and I’m quite tall. So we didn’t open them again. Secondly, the window in the bedroom had been left open a fraction of which we didn’t notice at first but did wonder why it was always cold in there. The double bed was smaller than we were used to and wasn’t very comfortable so we slept on the sofa. There was a kick board that wouldn’t stay up so we had to be careful it didn’t fall on our feet. Despite these things we didn’t let it spoil our week away. We were shocked that there was no food bucket for food waste etc, so we had to put said waste into the black bin.

we were very happy with the place it was all perfect.

My only criticism is regarding the instructions for the key safe as it does not state we need to add a # after the code number in order for the box to open, if you are not used with opening such boxes it takes some time of figure it out.

Absolutely amazing place, I didn't want to leave.

I stayed in the Cavendish suite and it felt really homely. It had everything i needed and more. Couldn't recommend it enough. I spoke to the owner and he was very accommodating with me checking in early.

The property lived up to expectations, the main area with kitchen dining area and lounge was excellent very light, airy, spacious, well equipped kitchen.

Main bedroom good size with en suite, second bedroom ok with size bed set up not suitable for adults due to flimsy build need to be a more sturdy bunk bed or a double or two singles. Also some hooks to hang stuff. The main bathroom good size with excellent fittings. Decor modern clean.

The Cavendish suite was well equipped, very clean and comfortable.

The location to the town center and pavillion park is easy accessible and a great location to explore the Derbyshire Dales. The ensuite bathroom needs attention to flooring and toiletseat. The bedrooms could do with a little bit more storage place.

A super place to stay in Buxton.

Roomy, light and comfortable. Caretaker very helpful when we needed assistance. EVcharger was a good advantage, free and easy to use .

We had a brilliant stay at the property, everything about it is first class.

Its proximity to Buxton and all of its facilities is excellent, with lots of places to eat and drink etc.

The property was perfect.

Lots of room and in a perfect location for exploring Buxton and the surrounding areas. Parking was easy and so many pots, pans, plates and cups. The living area was spacious and comfortable as were the bedrooms. I would return and would highly recommended.

The apartment was beautiful, comfortable, very clean, very well equipped but some of the frypans & pots could do with replacing.

The wooden flooring needs to be looked into. Only thing we would suggest is to have a christmas tree and decorations. The owner was very responsive. We would definately recommend staying at the Cavendish apartment.

Should have designated parking for each flat had to park on the road several times during stay.

Problem with television unable to access normal channels. Problem with sky box had to unplug and connect again only able to establish connection for few minutes at a time very frustrating Second bedroom only had bunk beds

Generally very good.

The main gripe would be the Sky TV box which only worked for a maximum of 20 minutes before freezing and having to be re-set constantly, virtually no point trying to watch TV. Minor gripes would be the bad smell in the on-suite toilet if the ventilator fan is switched off, the ridiculously oversized duvet covers and a lack of a measuring jug in the kitchen. Other than that a very nice apartment in a nice quiet location.

location excellant stunning flat great parking only drawback the tv could only watch for 20 minutes then picture froze kept pulling out plug and plug in again worked for a while then froze again do this all night not good spoke to other people in block they had same problem maybe needs a booster also hooks on doors in bathroom would be helpful also caddy in ensuite apart from that was fantastic every thing you needed in kitchen

One very minor observation.

There was no welcome pack and any paperwork had to be hunted for. I still don't understand how to use the sky or tv and I am pretty tech savvy. Don't even get me started on the heating system, if we had some instructions we could have put the heating up (it was a cold week)!! Other than that one of the best accomodations we have stayed in, idealy located and very modern. Many thanks

Highly recommend this apartment with excellent location, professionally cleaned, comfortable beds with good linen, great kitchen with everything you would need (except non stick pans & cling film but this is to my personal usage and may not apply to others).

Off road parking and comfy lounge rounds it all for a home away from home. Don't hesitate to book!
