We absolutely loved our stay at Top House, it's the perfect base for enjoying the amazing Derbyshire countryside.

It had everything we needed as a family of 5 plus our dog, plenty of space with the layout and style just perfect - the boys loved the rocky roads left for us thank you Tideswell itself had lots to offer we loved the walks from the doorstep, listening to the brass band practice one evening was a real treat We would love to come again and stay in this beautiful house

Just back from our third visit to Top House.

The house is spotlessly clean and well appointed. It is warm and cosy, and the beds are comfortable. We have always found a parking spot on the road close by. Its in a great location, right in the centre of the village, which has a range of places for food and drink. We particularly like the Tideswell Lounge which is 2 mins walk and does great coffee. Dan and Laura are very responsive to messages and the rocky road and bottle of wine were much appreciated. Yes the stairs are steep and a bit windy, yes it is opposite the church and you can clearly hear the bells and clock chime, but for us that is part of the charm. We will definitely book again.

We had a lovely two night stay at Top House.

The location was ideal, right in the middle of Tideswell which has a whole host of amenities - a bakery, a cafe, a second hand bookshop, a small Co-op, several pubs, a chemist - and a short drive from numerous Peak District beauty spots. Top House has all you might wish for in a holiday cottage - a well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and everything spotlessly clean. Being opposite the church you are aware of the church bells but soon get used to them.
