Well presented and clean.

Lovely views. Great location for exploring Marsden especially, in our case, Last of the Summer Wine filming locations. Shops on the doorstep including good Chinese Takeaway and Fish & Chip Shop. Private parking although sometimes difficult to get in and out due to street parking. Personally, we found the upside down living with all the stairs and low sofa difficult with our old knees and could only just reach the skylights. Owner was quick to answer any queries.

Property was very well maintained and very clean - located near the centre of the village, with several cafes, pubs, shops and a nice Italian restaurant only a short distance away.

Owner was very helpful with a list of places to go and things to do, the recommended walk along the canal path into the next village was beautiful. Very happy to recommend

Lovely accommodation well heated, very comfy beds and well equipped kitchen.

Comfy lounge area with a vast choice of family games and dining area with amazing views. Loved all the lamps which made it feel very cosy. Some excellent recommendations from Nick on eateries and walks in the area . Close to shops/pubs etc and very dog friendly. Met some friendly locals along the way. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend The old telephone exchange or the area to friends and family.

We had a wonderful family weekend with all our cousins.

Lots of room for 8 people. Very well equipped, lovely property within easy walk of the beautiful Marsden, with lots of pubs, cafes, etc - everything you will need. The surrounding area provides lots to do, wonderful walks, we even had a canal boat trip. Great fun. Thanks to Nick and Nicky who were wonderful hosts and very responsive.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, the hosts were absolutely spot on and couldn’t have been any more helpful.

They gave us recommendations around the village before arrival. We wouldn’t hesitate to book this place again. 10/10 from us

We only moved our car once the whole week.

I booked the Old Telephone Exchange for a weekend reunion with a group of old school friends, and none of us were disappointed.

The property was clean, well equipped and ideally located for heading off into the hills. A short walk down the high street and you'll find a handful of nice bars, pubs and cafes. All in all we had a great time, sadly two days just wasn't enough. Furthermore, Nick, the owner, was very helpful and attentive.

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property.

We enjoyed exploring the canals nearby as well as eating out in Marsden. 4 generations of the family got together from 7 months to 90 years old, many happy memories made!

Perfect house for our group of two couples and two friends.

Very spacious lounge, dining room and kitchen. Very modern and well maintained. The only negatives were the music from the social club next door was very loud until midnight on Saturday night; the house has poor sound insulation so all the downstairs rooms can hear eachother and the kitchen quite easily; also, although most of the house was very clean, the sofa had quite a few marks on it. Overall a great stay though, we would definitely come back!

Stunning property in a wonderful location.

Extremely clean and well equipped for our stay. The owners had thought of every little detail. Would highly recommend. Nothing was too much trouble, recommended places to eat, they even went and put the heaters on for our arrival. Couldn't fault anything! Perfect way to celebrate my mums 60th! Thank you!

A fascinating property on many levels with lovely views from the kitchen and dining room.

The kitchen is easy to use and well equipped. The sitting room is very comfortable and relaxing. The beds are comfortable too. The fitter members of the family enjoyed walking parts of the Pennine Way while the less able enjoyed exploring the canals. Nick and Nicky were very helpful and answered our questions promptly.

Lovely property in a lovely village location.

Perfect family holiday for 8 of us and two dogs. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to cook with. Comfortable beds, and seating in lounge, and everywhere very clean. Such a beautiful location, with shops pubs and restaurants walking distance. Super friendly and helpful owner's. Just wish we had booked two weeks. I would definitely recommend, and hopefully return. Thank you for a perfect get together with family.

Lovely space for family catch up

I think the only suggestion we have is to consider more fridge/freezer space.

As a holiday let for 8 people we didn’t have enough space for the food we brought with us.

We loved the property and would highly recommend staying here.

The communication from the owners was 10/10 - thank you for being so attentive. The property is incredibly clean, spacious and easy to access. The location is in such a lovely area too with great walks and pubs.

Comfortable furnishings and beds. Stunning kitchen. High end finishes. Clean. Warm. Attentive owners. Great eateries nearby. Fantastic walks, most of the shops have the walks on leaflets. Canal tunnel guided boat tour really interesting. Would recommend the property.

The eight of us had a lovely couple of nights here.

There is sufficient shared space to not be on top of each other and the bedrooms and bathrooms were comfortable and clean. Kitchen had all the necessary pots and pans although could maybe do with a frying pan as I like fried egg for breakfast..

Absolutely stunning property.

The owners are lovely and extremely helpful. The whole property @ the olde telephone exchange is amazing,beautifully maintained and superbly presented. As a whole my holiday was fantastic, shops literally on same road bit further down,lovely people, good range of food,other shops etc. 12/10

Lovely cottage, everything you could need is there.

Marsden is a lovely place and the cottage is situated perfectly with shops and cafes close by, and lovely walks on the doorstep.

We had a great stay.

The owners worked really hard at getting every perfect and made sure during our stay everything was OK.
